He’s a bad boy in danger. The same man I should stay miles away from.
I’ve got no intention of falling in love with Bastian. But he’s taking my heart… piece by piece every single day. I want to trust him. I want to tell him how I feel. But there’s no way our reality will allow that.
Bastian is wild. I know because I work for his older brother. Little did I know that I would be dragged into his life. But then he showed up at my doorstep with a knife wound. My jaw dropped to the floor. My heart began to palpitate. And I only had one choice… to take him in.
Something tells me that he’s out to harm me… If I can’t trust him with my heart, can I at least trust him with my life?
This is the fourth book in the series and it's about Harlow and Bastian, Jax wild ,sexy and gorgeous brother. The story is full of drama, its sizzling and hot, find it so hard to put down till I finished the book. Lovely characters and fast paced. I received an ARC for my voluntary honest opinion
I listened to the audiobook version of this story. Dark Secrets is book 4 in the platinum Security series and it is just as Amazing as the other 3 books. I am really enjoying listening to these books by Kelly Myers and the narration is excellent. Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott are incredible telling this story ,while listening you can tell that they put everything into their performances. All the emotions are there,in their voices making you believe everything they are saying.I LOVED listening to them act it all out as these characters. This book is a real adventure with plenty of action in and out of the bedroom. Harlow is the newest member of the Platinum Security team, and she is a very talented hacker, she is a loner though and her compuer is her only friend, she is still feeling like she is an outsider even though the team have welcomed her with open arms. Bastian is Jax's estranged younger brother,he has been missing since their sister died and couldn't deal with her death so just ran....But he just seems to run into trouble,he has lost his way,he is the bad boy of the two brothers...While Jax was ex law enforcement and now in the security buisness,Bastian has no direction he uses his fists to make money by illegally fighting...and now he owes money to a ruthless man called Angelo. So gets into the ring to win the money, but he is robbed and hurt after the fight and so he goes to Platinum security for help..This is were he officially meets Harlow who is working at the time of his assault and helps him. There is an immediate attraction between them he sparks are flying in all directions and this is the beginning of a steamy little adventure between them. Now there is alot going on in this story along with the growing romance between Harlow and Bastian, there is an attempted kidnapping,a case of missing diamonds,a wedding and many more shananighans. We learn more about Harlows family and her fathers criminal background, and we get to know the real Bastian the man behind the Tattoos and piercing. They fall quick and hard for one another but there are so many obstacles in the way, especially the fact that Bastian is keeping a secret from Harlow that could put both of them in danger and the deceit may ruin their relationship. Oh and I Loved catching up with the other characters in the team and their woman. Kelly Myers writing is just captivating, witty, funny and emotional I absolutely loved listening to this book.It is a great story and I am excited for the other books within this series and I can't wait to meet the newbies, that will be joining the team. Fantastic book which I highly recommend. 5 Stars

Dark Secrets Platinum Security, Book 4 By: Kelly Myers Narrated by: Kenneth Elliott, Jamie Kersey
In her latest novel in the Platinum Security series, Kelly Myers delivers a romantic suspense that will keep you hooked until the very end. Each book in the series stands on its own, featuring different lead characters, although some characters cross over into each other’s books and seeing them again is like seeing an old friend. This fourth book is Harlow Vaughn and Sebastian “Bastian” Flynn’s story and what a story it is. Harlow is the computer guru at Platinum Security, and Bastian is Ryker’s brother, who came to town for his brother’s wedding, though he did not allow himself to be seen. Bastian is trouble and is in trouble, owing some bad people money. He competes in underground fighting rings, trying to make some fast cash to come up with the money he owes, but the opponent he beat was a sore loser. Bastian went to Platinum Security but only made it to the front door before they jumped him. Harlow came to his rescue, and there was an instant attraction, though she knows she was always attracted to men like her father, who was currently serving time in prison. There is never a dull moment in this book, the writing, plotting and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. I was not a fan of Bastian at first, but he redeems himself. The man had issues and struggled with his inner demons and self worth. Harlow, smart with a good head on her shoulders, had a weak spot for the bad boys. This romantic suspense has plenty of drama, angst, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance.
🎧📚🎧For the narration, Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott continue to do an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. The actors have a clear understanding of the characters they are portraying and give each character a voice that is realistic and appropriate. Elliott nailed it as Bastian, grasping every side of his personality, and Kersey did the same as Harlow. They both performed all the secondary roles equally well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
Dark Secrets Platinum Security, Book 4 By: Kelly Myers Narrated by: Kenneth Elliott, Jamie Kersey
I can't tell you how much I love this series. Romantic suspense is my jam and Kelly Myers is brining it with her Platinum Security series. This book features Harlow and Bastian. Harlow is Platinum Security's computer hacker. She keeps to herself for the most part, but when Bastian shows up, injured and needing help, she is there and willing. Bastian is Ryker's brother, in town for his wedding, and on the fringes because he always brings trouble, just like now. But Harlow sees something in him. Yes, she is attracted to the bad boy, but there is more than that to this man. But Harlow is in danger now, and Bastian is going to be the one to keep her safe. Until he doesn't. What happens next? Give it a listen. It's fast paced, action packed and a romance that is easy root for. The perfect mix of suspense and romance, Myers has another winner on her hands.
Now for the narration. Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott continue their amazing narration of this series. Bringing in voices from previous books and creating new ones for Eva and Bastian, flow is easy to listen to and exciting to hear. These storytellers are Platinum Security and a lot of fun to hear.
Happily Ever After, the Complete Platinum Security Series is a fun and fascinating journey into the lives and loves of four very different alpha-male protectors. Each novel focuses on a couple, and each storyline is different—though they are all fast-paced, intense, and filled with action, adventure, and intrigue. The chemistry between each leading couple is fiery hot, and I adore how each of the leading women are strong, independent, and brave in their own ways.
The narrators did an awesome job performing the various roles; I was sucked straight in to each story and hooked until the very end. AND after the last story concludes, there are extended epilogues for all 4 couples, which are definitely best enjoyed after all 4 of the stories have been enjoyed. This series is a winner, and so much fun! Highly recommend!.

Bastian is a sexy bad boy that can't seem to stay out of trouble. As a hacker for Platinum Security, Harlow spends all her time behind her computers. Harlow finds Bastian bleeding from a stab wound outside Platinum's office. As she tends to his wound, Bastian is instantly taken by Harlow; she finds Bastian extremely sexy with his tattoos and piercings, but is leery to get involved. Unable to stay away, she accepts a date with him not knowing the real reason for the date. When the time comes, Bastian refuses to stick to the plan and now they both are in danger.
A thrilling love story with a HEA. Great narration by Kenneth Elliott and Jamie Kersey.
I enjoyed this suspenseful tale! I liked the way the story was told that kept me wondering what would Bastain do next. He is one Wild Bad Man! I enjoyed him so much! Harlow is a baddie in her own right! She is wicked with a computer! Their realization that they needed each other for more than just a romp is wonderful to watch! She is so commanding towards him it cracked me up!
I have not read others in the series and this one was easy to follow along with. It does male me think I need to grab Jax, Griff and Ryker’s stories though. I fid listen to this on audio. Kenneth Elliott and Jamie Kersey did a good job narrating.
Harlow works for Bastian’s brother. He is on the wild side and considers himself as a screw up. When he connects with Harlow there is something about her that draws her to him. He manages to get Harlow caught up in his problems but he had no idea how strong his feelings would become toward her. Will he be able to get back on her good side and keep her safe from the problems he caused to begin with? This story draws you in and keeps you glued to the drama!

I listened to the audiobook. The narrators, Kenneth Elliott and Jamie Kersey, were new to me. I thought they did an excellent job with their performances throughout the series and I would listen to both again.
Dark secrets brings a bad boy together with his brother’s friend/coworker. I liked the fast pace of the story and how everything ties together in the end.
I received a copy of this book at my request, and the opinions here are my own
This is Bastion and Harlow's story. While a good read, it's the last three stories repeated. Strong attraction, bad guy threatening them, girl gets kidnapped, and she gets rescued. The guys don't work as a team until the end, which is highly unlikely in a security team/group.
This is Harlow and Bastians love story she's a hacker that finds all the stuff for everyone but she has secrets and trust issues, he's Jaxons little brother who's self absorbed and likes living on the edge.
This is a well written story meant for mature readers only at times you'll find yourself laughing out loud it's steamy, suspenseful, and romantic. Well done.
I loved this book Sebastian and Harlow are great together. I love that the other characters from the previous books show up. I was hoping there would be a book about Cole and Grey I loved them in the previous books. I hope they get there own story. The whole series is outstanding!!!!!
The narrators did a good job. Loved listening to them tell this Short Quick Story.
Bastian is Jax's younger brother who is always in trouble and Harlow is Jax's employee. I enjoyed listening to this and can't wait to read the previous and next story in the series. I found it an entertaing story.
When a bad boy meets his match all he can do is beg for forgiveness. These characters are great. I love their chemistry and the way they fall in love. This whole series has been amazing, I couldn’t put it down. The performance is faultless and there’s so much feeling and passion you really do connect to the characters and their stories.
I found this love story to be very brilliant, you know like shining, sparkling gems. The characters are well developed and likable.I enjoyed the relationships and the series as a whole. Take the time to get to know the staff at Platinum Security. You will not regret it...
#4 might be the shortest book of the series so the insta-love/relationship is even faster than usual. The plot is predictable. One thing I do like is the continuity of the characters in all the stories. She mentions 3 new team members joining PS, so maybe there will be more stories.
Harlow works for Bastains brother and she knows he's a wild card with no aim, whe he turns up to her doorstep with a knife would he drags her into a merky world but can he get them both out? Well written engaging steamy action drama and more
This is the 4th and last book in this series. I love the characters - their depth, their loyalty, and their devotion to their significant others. There is plenty of suspense and action along with the romance. It is a very entertaining book and a fast read.
Short & sweet & to the point…. I’m glad Bastian got his redemption story & I really like Harlow. Still don’t like the narrators they legit don’t match the characters.
Bad boy Sebastian Wilder, who is never quite out of trouble, owns his weaknesses. The younger brother of Jax Wilder indulges in the usual list of addictions—drinking, drugging, gambling and fighting to meet anyone’s definition of being a bad boy. But Bastian also carries a darkness of loss in his soul—his parents were killed in a car accident when he was 10 years old, and only 18 months ago, his sister, Maddie, who fell in love with another bad boy, paid the price for her lover’s treachery with her life. Now, if the scars on his soul don’t remind Bastian of his darkness, all he has to do it to look at the markings and piercings that cover his body in memory and self-inflicted punishment for his own guilt and shame.
Not able to find peace, Bastian is constantly on the run—but not from any enemy. Rather, he chooses to run to risks and dangers as a way of serving penance for the constant f*ck-ups that he seems to create with little or no effort. But now, he has paused to remember that he is still a part of a family—a broken family—but a family that is about to morph into something different and new. Older brother Jax is getting married to the beautiful Hollywood A-list actress Easton Ross. And while Bastian will not make a public appearance at the wedding, he will watch from the edge, hoping that his darkness won’t cast a shadow on his brother’s new path of happiness and love.
What Bastian doesn’t realize is that the watcher is being watched. Unfortunately for Harlow Vaughn, 30-year-old, brown-haired, blue-grey-eyed former CIA dark web operative known as Shadow Walker and now hacker in residence and for Platinum Security, bad boys like Bastian are her kryptonite. And, her boss Jax Wilder’s younger brother Sebastian, with his tats and piercings, is a mother lode of badness.
Harlow has known since she was a girl the dangers of loving a bad boy—especially a bad boy who likes being bad. As young girl watching the pain her bad boy dad brought to her mom, her brothers and to herself, she has learned to recognize badness. Her own father is a current resident serving 10-15 at California State Prison in Lancaster. So, as a girl who grew up in the home of a bad boy, she should recognize a bad boy when she sees him and know to be wary. Now, Harlow shouldn’t be surprised when she gets caught up in the darkness of bad boy Bastian Wilder’s world.
This dark romantic thriller is a departure from Kelly Myers’ romantic comedies, but Myers holds her own with the feel and verbal dialogue rhythms of the Film Noir detectives of the 40’s. Her characters are engaging, their back stories intriguing, and when in the same room, the temperature rises with the growing pull between Harlow and Bastian. This romance is a continuation of the Platinum Security team’s search for love and peace. The story of each PS team member is worth following, including Jax Wilder, former LAPD detective, Griff—Griffin Lawson, an ex-CIA agent and Ryker Flynn, a former Navy SEAL, all who need help in shedding the darkness of their past careers.

I really liked this book about Harlow and her boss’ brother Bastian. Bastian gets himself in a bit of trouble when Harlow finds him suffering a knife wound. That’s just the start of the suspenseful ride for these two that includes a few turns that I didn’t expect. I loved Harlow’s character; she’s a former loner coming out of her shell now that she works for a security company. She’s a brilliant kind, talented hacker, and she sure finds her feisty along the way. Sebastian was a ride to read; I couldn’t decide at first if I loved him or hated him. He’s the self proclaimed black sheep of the family and always running away from life. He got himself into some trouble and his decisions are what made it hard to decide if I liked him or not. Halfway through the book though I decided I loved this character and he started to make much better decisions. I also loved Bastian and Harlow together. They have a real connection and the steam between these two is super hot. The ending of this book is a good one and introduces what will hopefully be the next characters to get standalones in this series. Wow this book was action packed right from the get go, Bastian has had a rough life as well as his brother Jax after there sister was killed. At Jax’s and Easton wedding he sees Harlow and is attracted to her but tries to stay away because he is no good for her and after a fight his brother Jax mixes him up at the office and that’s where he meets Harlow and he is just as drawn to more so now. Harlow works for Jax and when she meets his brother Sebastian (bastion) she know he is trouble with a capital T but she finds herself drawn to him even though she shouldn’t, so how does something feel so right and wrong at the same time. Bookies want there money and bastian must hand over Harlow as payment but he backs out of it. Finding out what happened Harlow is furious and feels betrayed by Bastian, the drama, suspense, action, betrayal and twists and turns and danger makes this book stand out as a great read.

Man I do love this series. So much mystery and intrigue and hot encounters. Bastian attends Jax's wedding but hides from everyone. Then he gets jumped after winning a fight. He ends up at Jax's office. Harlow is the only one there. Jax comes and bandages him up and then takes off for his honeymoon. Bastian and Harlow have combustible chemistry. Bastian makes a deal with his bookie to deliver Harlow. His conscience and guilt get the best of him and he chickens out at the last minute. Harlow escapes but the bookie is still after her for her father's stolen diamonds. Harlow has been disappointed by her father and now Bastian. She is devastated by his betrayal. They have to work through their feelings, commitment issues, outrun evil bookies and find the diamonds. Great series. Action packed.
