Sharee Taylor has grown up being the person her siblings could rely on. Being the oldest, she accepted that responsibility with pride. After getting settled in her career, she realizes that while she’s being supportive of everyone else, she’s lonely. Everyone has moved on with their lives and it seems she’s at a standstill. Seeing her younger sister find love before her makes her long for that perfect love even more so. However, that doesn’t make her desperate. She still has her preferences. So, when Ross “Exodus” Anders approaches her, she is caught totally off guard by her attraction to him.

Having to become a man at a young age, has had its benefits as well as its tribulations. While it has somewhat forced Ross Anders into the wrong lifestyle, it has matured him as well. He’s lived well past his twenty-four years and he realizes that he can’t continue down the path he’s on. His son deserves a better example of how to navigate in this world. He makes the decision to chase his dreams and pursues a career in music, hoping to be the next big rap star. He lands a record deal and while filming his first music video, he meets the woman he doesn’t want to ever look away from.

While Ross isn’t exactly Sharee’s type, there’s something about him that intrigues her and makes her want to know more about him. Ross is totally in from day one, wanting to prove that he’s worthy of her time. Will Sharee put her fears and doubts to rest and give Ross the attention he’s craving from her or will she possibly reject the gift because she doesn’t like the wrapping?

Starting with poetry, writing has always been a constant in Monica's life. The interest began in her teenage years, being in love for the first time. Her love for writing has only progressed. Song lyrics and poetry led to short stories, then one day in her down time, a short story became a 56k word novel. It has been non-stop since then. Being a wife and mother, has only added to the joys of Monica's life. Attaining a BS in Sociology, helping her better understand people and their behaviors, has only helped her become a better writer, understanding characters and their complex personalities. Romance of all types has been her passion, and she plans to continue honing her skills in that genre.

Access to Luxury Love

Another winner in the books for one of the best authors in the pen game. Exodus & Ree Ree were ideal for each other. Although Sharee sometimes over thinks things.
Shawn,Sonia,RJ & Noah from a previous series were influential in their relationship blossoming.
The relationship between Exodus’s baby Mom and Ree Ree was one for the books. They are blended family relationship goals.
Shawn was supportive of the man that captured his daughter’s heart. All the characters were winners accept Exodus’s father.
If you’re looking for a good read this is it.

Exodus and Sharee have become one of my favorite set of characters. This story was well written and pulled me right in. This author has that effect in all of her work. I was so glad to hear from characters from other books. I felt like we were being reunited. I absolutely recommend this book you will not be disappointed.

Always fire

Sharee and all her thoughts was stressing me and I’m a thinker lol. Ross was a man on a mission, a hustler with a plan, you had to respect that. I loved how you incorporated the characters I’d grown to love from the past book of Noah. Shawn Taylor is still the MAN! I’m already anticipating the follow up book with Shane. This was a great book, I never doubted it would be.

Sharee surprised me with her shyness and being reserved for the line of work she’s in. She had a serious infatuation for years, but I will not mention who. Glad that was resolved woosa! Sharee is very guarded and a thinker, which stems from her upbringing. She was arrogant in her own way too. She keeps sending mixed signals to Ross aka Exodus. Past hurts can hinder her future and if she does not keep an open mind, love will sure pass her by. I truly love the closeness she has with Shane and Kyla, especially her twin Shane. They are very close with their dad Shawn.

Exodus what can I say! Sharee was not playing games with him and IMHO put that man through the ringer! She gave him a run for the money. Exo came with a lot of responsibility and his own baggage. He made some not good decisions thinking he’s doing what is best for his family, but he learned that was not the case. Willow is so cool though, and I’m hoping she gets her happy ever after too.

I felt for Exo maaaannn. I literally had tears in my eyes when he wrote that song, and the emotions he went thru with Sharee. Daaarn I’m to old for this ish lmao 😂. I know this is nothing to laugh about but Ross grandma had me rolling OMG. Lord ham mercy the things she said to those two young ladies. His grandma was a hawt mess.

Shawn Taylor knows how to handle business and those two got what they deserved.

Ross and Sharee got their HEA and they continue to make beautiful music together!

Miss Monica! Just when I think that you cannot raise that bar any higher, you give us this gem! Gotta love the Taylor's! They are one of my favorite families (after the Henderson's of course)! 😂 So, happy to see the Taylor kids grown and thriving; as well as the check in with Noah and RJ. Sharee was not playing, at all period! She was taught by the best, and knew her worth. Her past really shaped her life, and how she interacted with others. Ross! Although he was street, he had a good heart. Just wanting to take care of his family and his son. Willow! Where baby mama's like that come from? She quietly took care of Gray, allowing Ross to do him. When he met Sharee he knew he found his one. However, getting her on board was going to be a challenge. Sharee was attracted to Ross, but wasn't sure if what she wanted was good for her. She was exhausting at times, but you can't fault a girl for taking her time when making decisions about her life. Together, they were magical! The love he had for each other, grew quickly and was beautiful to see. Shawn Taylor is still that dude! It was admirable how he stepped in to help Ross with the issues that came up in his life. I hope that things work out for Shane. It was sad seeing how Sharee finding love, hurt him as he felt she would drift away from him. (Next book hint, hint) 😂 Another great read ma'am! 👍👍👍

Sharee and Ross👏🏽👏🏽

This was another awesome read by this author.💃🏽💃🏽. Sharee got on my nerves in the beginning because she was slightly older than Ross and didn’t want to give him a chance🙄. Despite him only being 24 years old he was very mature and responsible. Thank God she finally got her mind right and decided to give him a chance👏🏽👏🏽. They were perfect together and I’m glad they got their HEA💃🏽💃🏽🥳🎉🎉. It was good to see Noah and RJ making appearances. That song that Ross made from Noah’s track for Sonja🔥🔥🔥. I can only imagine what it sounds like🔥🔥. Hopefully Willow finds her love. She’s such a sweet person. Shane..let’s hope this chick is the one for him🙏🏽🙏🏽This was a great read. This author is funny in her delivery with words. That moment when Sharee told Ross that he needs to change his sweat pants cause he looked like a slut cause his print was there for all to see..priceless🤣🤣👏🏽👏🏽😜. Another one. Read it and enjoy👏🏽👏🏽🎉🥳🔥🔥

Ross & Sharee💕

Queen Monica done hit us with another cute insta-love by way of the Taylor family.

Sharee guarded by past hurt, had a gate so tight around her heart she almost missed out on her forever love.

Ross was just street guy doing his best to provide for his family and get away from the street life in order to be a better man for his family but especially his son.

For Ross it was love at first site and he was determined to did whatever was needed to make Sharee its forever love. Like Sharee I felt a way about him not having a relationship with his son. I understood his reasoning but at the same time had he had a better example growing up, I'm pretty sure her would've done things differently.

Willow was the real MVP cause sis sis what we as women do everyday and still had a positive attitude and held no grudge against Ross.

Fingers 🤞🏽 for Shane's book and an update on Ross, Sharee and the rest of the family💕

Loved reading Exodus(Ross) and Sharee's story. I loved both their passion for their work, family and each other. Ross's vulnerability went it came to winning Sharee's attention at the beginning was swoon worthy. I enjoyed seeing how he wasn't afraid to show her how open he was for her. Sharee was a grown woman who knew her worth and her value. I admired the fact that even though she knew she wanted Ross she went at her pacd and thought things through. Willow and Sharee's relationship was totally goals for women. Great catching up with the Taylor family as well as Noah and RJ. Overall this book was GREAT. AN AMAZING READ. I would give 20 stars 🌟 if I could. Kudos to you Monica Walters you knocked it out of the park with this one.

The best ever❤❤❤

This story was everything omg. Sharee and ross as she called him were amazing couple. I truly love how he wanted the best for his son that he was willing to sacrifice nor having relationship been involved in his life untill he get out the street game. That's a hard pill to swallow he didn't want his son to see that life like he did with his father but when he finally decided to un his baby life the emotions?😭❤. The way he loved his family and take care of them was everything. I loved his relationship with his baby mama. She had a pure sweet soul. Sharee had wall up around her heart from what she experienced personally. Ross was definitely book bae. And his son gray was the sweetest. Absolutely one of my favorite🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤❤there so many good things about this story i loved it❤❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥💃💃💃💃

Absolutely Amazing Read

Exodus and Sharee were everything together! She gave him a hard time, but she wanted everything about him from the first time she saw him just as he did her. She didn't give into him easily and he respected her for that. Exodus was thankful to move forward with his music career and let the hustling go so he could focus on his son and a better life. It brought him closer to his love with Sharee and closer to her family. He and Sharee's chemistry was outstanding. Amazing read and I hope there's a book about Shane and his relationship.

Great standalone

This book was so good I enjoy reading how the characters try to fight their feelings of falling in love. Sharee tried to fight falling in love with Exodus but babyyy home boy wasn't playing he said you will be mine. The growth that Exodus showed Sharee was everything. He provided and protected his family. It was good hearing from the old gang love me some Shawn Taylor. Job well done you never disappoint absolutely loved it.

Exodus and Sharee

Dang Sharee was tough. Little does she know her dad has some skeletons too but like she said, he was there. She made this young man come correct. He wasn’t a punk but with her he was. He found himself holding his tongue a lot with Sharee. She definitely controlled that relationship. I felt she reacted too quickly being the thinker that she was. Overall good read!! Great to have my favorite cameos...

Those Killer Blues

This is yet another hit for the books!!!! I love, love, love how Shawn Taylor came in and practically saved the day. What a parent won’t do for their children is proven so much in this novel. The love that Ross and Sharee were building for one another exuded with each turn of the page. This is a MUST READ!!

From the moment Sharee laid eyes on Exodus and he laid eyes on her they felt the connection. You could feel the chemistry through the pages especially the scene when they were shooting the video. The heat leaped from the pages. Beautiful love story. Can't wait to read Shane's story, hopefully it's with Willow.

Good Story

The writer gives us sweet romance filled with just enough drama and excitement to keep us on the edge of our seats. The relationship between our two main characters is handled like grown folk handle business. There are times when Sharee is a little too judgemental and preachy. Overall this was an entertaining and enjoyable read and a really good way to spend time.

Nice

I liked Sharee's story. She and Ross had the right amount of chemistry. His family situation with his baby boy worked out perfectly. His ex Willow needs a story. She needs to find someone that matches her heart. I'm happy Seritas grown children stopped treating her poorly. Overall, the story was a good read.

I know Sharee was a thinker but I had a soft spot for Ross! Can’t be mad at a woman for carefully thinking out all her plans before she puts them into action. Very well written and I love them together! Can’t wait for your next project!

Yes 👍read

Let me give a round of applause for Ross! Yesssssss he said teach me how to love you...then he was committed to keeping her.
Love at first sight with an extremely emotional twin and a guy who's trying to turn his life around. What I enjoyed most was the real courtship...drinks, uno, family gathering...made the story have a touch of realness for the age of the characters. This was a quick and we'll written story.

Such a good read

This book was so entertaining and I loved the journey with Sharee and Ross. The family dynamics were entertaining as well and I loved the way the love evolved and developed between the two main characters. I’m hoping that some of the side characters get their own story, especially her twin Shane. Definitely would recommend.
