London Lies #1-3

London Lies Complete Box Set

When the world believes the lies, who can you trust with the truth?

Vilified celebrity Jackson Young stands accused of a murder he didn’t commit. Desperate to clear his name as the world turns against him, he finds solace in the unlikeliest of allies.

Journalist Fletcher Doherty, relegated to the gossip columns, is handed the most explosive story of his career. The catch? It’s about Jackson Young, a man he’s publicly condemned.

Forced to put aside their animosity for the sake of the story, Fletcher and Jackson grow closer with each encounter. But neither is prepared for the irresistible pull that lands them in bed together.

Yet, in a world where betrayal lurks behind every headline, who truly is the enemy?

Falling for his book’s subject could be fatal for Fletcher. And Jackson knows better than to trust a journalist, especially one who’s built a career on tearing him down.

The London Lies trilogy delving into the sinister underbelly of the UK media is a gripping MM enemies to lovers, romantic suspense comprising Fade to Blank, Hide to Seek and Bring to Light, featuring a fallen national treasure and an ambitious Irish expat, both navigating a treacherous path where trust is a luxury they can't afford.

Brought up in a relatively small town in Hertfordshire, C F White managed to do what most other residents try to do and fail—leave.

She eventually settled for pie and mash, cockles and winkles and a bit of Knees Up Mother Brown to live in the East End of London; securing a job and creating a life, a home and a family.

She writes gritty British based stories about imperfect men falling in love against the odds and has been accused of sprinkling a bit of humour into them from time to time too.

Final Book in an incredible series.

I red this book in January and now just finished it on audio and loved it both times.

This is not a standalone read, IMO you need to read the previous two book as the characters and stories are built over the series.

We meet Jackson and Fletcher again as they head back to London from Ireland. They are tight on money, have no where safe to stay but are determined to release Jacksons story but need proof before anyone will believe them.

The action and drama that has been written into this book is incredible. Suspense and sitting on the edge of your chair becomes reality whilst reading this book. The twist and turns weren't expected and kept me guessing.

Well worth the read, its a shame that the series has come to an end, but looking forward to future books from C.F.White.

The narration of this whole series has been brilliant, great accents and very easy to listen to. Did listen to the last book at 1.20 speed on audible.
