Riveting Series Finale
Sad to see the series ending! But this was a great way to wrap it up. Axel, the billionaire that everyone loved finally got his happy ending. But the road to happiness was wrought with problems. Problem number one being Amelia, the contestant in the running for half a million dollars to her charity. All I can say is that she is prime example of the self absorbed princess reality tv show character people love to hate. I mean wow. She was a drama queen who tried my nerves just reading about her. It all works out of course but there were some twists and it made the story more exciting. It actually had me thinking about going on a river rafting trip in the future.
It was great seeing the connection between Kinsley and Axel. Finally putting all the miscommunications and misunderstandings aside and seeing each other for who they really are. Great story.
Semi spoiler!!!: There is a box set that is going to come out with all the books in the series together AND it will have a bonus part where you get to see everyone from the series again! Ahhh! I’m so exciting! Great idea!

Oh. My. HAPPY DANCE!
Survive the Romance is such a fun, fabulous series... and I was so sad that this is the last book.... BUT! Happy Dance! There’s a special wrap up story in the boxed set 🤦♀️ I just have to wait patiently (or impatiently-LOL) until it releases. Romancing the River was such an... ENTERTAINING story. And in order to NOT have any unintended spoilers, that is all that I’ll say! Other than I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! I can’t wait to read it all over again in the box set 😁

Wonderful series
I have read each one of the books in the series and wish there were more to come loved the characters and the storylines. It always great to read about romance between two people who have loved each for years. Excellent books and I highly recommend each one.

'Ah, Kins, you are definitely worth the risk'
Just as explosive as I expected, what a great finish to the series!
Axel and Kins finally get the chance to duscuss their past and clear the air, Amelia is vile, spoilt and mardy and Kane has the patience of a saint...until even he is tipped over the edge and tells her how it is!
Crazy rapids, bear attacks, spoilt princesses and a love that has been slowly burning for over a decade...fantastic!

Axel and Kinsey’s story is so good but Kane being stuck with the likes off Amelia the spoiled brat was sad. Axel has loved Kinsley since high school but she considers him a playboy. Can he make her see the real Axel in just one whitewater River excursion? Cannot wait to read Kane and Jaycee’s story next.

I really enjoy Cami books and these were very good. Each of the books had their own stories with their own challenges each was inventive and unusual and I enjoyed reading them all I highly recommend the series

I got this book yesterday and couldn't put it down, I finished it at 2:00 am. Love the fact there's more to come. Great read.

River rafting adventure
What a great ending to this series!! It showed how we can be so fooled by who people are when we only know them on social media. The characters in this story are all different personalities. Three of the main characters are try really hard to be polite and helpful to the fourth character, but they don’t want kindness and help. They are rude and selfish. Thankfully the others persevere.
Things that the main characters only know part of the story come to light and that changes their perspective. Great story!! Loved the rafting adventure!!

I purchased a copy of the clean post military novel Romancing the River in the 10 book collection Survive the Romance boxset by Cami Checketts and this review was given freely.
This would have been an excellent story except for the high amount of repetition and the dramatic and gory end scene.
Twelve years after hearing a partial conversation that crushed her teenage heart, Britton’s sister, adventure guide Kinsley Grady and her brother’s childhood friend Axel Dexter are placed together on a distaterous river rafting expedition with the vindictive and narcissistic Amelia.

So glad to find Axel's story!!! He and Kinsley are perfect, yet it took them soooo long to get together. This story almost lost a star from me because the villain is such a perfect villain. She kinda drove me crazy. I didn't enjoy her at all. But then I decided that just shows what a talented writer Cami Chrcketts is to make me feel all of those things. Kinsley is perfect as a river guide and Axel is his usual charismatic self. I can't believe it took them so long to get together, but I loved watching it happen!

This story is based on a river rafting experience by four people who are out to get pictures and one woman is along to win a half million dollars for her charity. Everything goes along ok except for Amelias screaming and inability to do her part in steering the raft. After a bear attach and an emergency rescue everyone ends up back home with no payout for Amelia. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

A good clean adventure romance: Axel and Kinsley both are secretly in love with each other. Axel is finally ready to make his move and Kinsley isn't having it as she thinks he's a womanizer. Will the get through the river ride in one piece and will they resolve their issues?
I really enjoyed this series and would recommend it.

Never have I seen , met or read about such a self absorbed and elfish person in my life, and that is a great idea as I would be so tempted to speak my mind. Riding the river is one of the activities that has passed me by, but is a thrill to read about. Fantastic job Ms. Checketts.

Hot guys, adventures
I would not really enjoy the reality show adventures but the hot guys whole other story. This is a good story loved all the characters except Amelia but she was a part of the story so she was needed. I loved the story very descriptive and I enjoyed it a lot.

Fantastic Book!
Every book in this series was fantastic. However this was the best. I laughed so much reading this book. It felt so good to laugh. My husband had to know what made me so happy. Thank you Cami for a wonderful story!!

Sweet Romance
Man! I was glad when Amelia was done! Although they really should have realized there was food out... That part was super scary. Trigger warning: There’s also mention of someone’s suicide plan. They didn’t follow through! I’m super excited for the last story!

AMAZING WILDERNESS ROMANCE
Survival in the wilderness, the category five rapids, the hungry wildlife and some very annoying people makes this a fast paced and very enjoyable novel… oh, and of course, it also includes a bit of romance. RECOMMENDED
