Rate this book
The murder of a king or queen. Willow The idiot pawn whose head is now on the chopping block. A month ago, I inadvertently helped to overthrow a wicked queen. To save a friend’s life, I made a deal with a madman. How was I supposed to know that the power vacuum would suck the city into a tornado of chaos? With every King scrambling to maintain their power, and the Psi-Ops breathing down our necks, the imperative to lay low has never been stronger.Don’t ask me how I managed to become a champion in the King’s succession tournament. A brutal test of skill and ruthlessness for the right to be the next monarch. All I know is that I have to win at all cost. Even if it means surrendering my deepest secret and worst of my heart. The aftermath will echo through the city and none of us will ever be the same again.Echo is the fourth novel in the Spectra Series. It is a young adult urban fantasy novel with slight Academy overtones. There are flavours of X-men and Alphas with a big helping of snark and a slow burn romance.
