KADRA I was five years old when I met true evil and by the time I was fifteen, there was little to no humanity left in my dark soul. As the years passed, I turned my demons into allies and became what I feared most. The Parisi heir. The child of destruction my cruel father always wanted. I also learned the hardest lesson of all. To succeed in a man’s world and remain on top I had to cut my own heart from my chest and bury it where no one could ever find it. I should’ve known I couldn’t bury what was no longer mine. My broken heart belonged to the man who turned my world upside down. The biggest threat to my decaying heart. Vitali Solonik. My dragon.
VITALI I was a boy when life taught me just how evil humans could be. That same evil raised me in the streets like a hungry dog with no home until I climbed to the top of the kingdom and became the city’s prince. I have all I longed for as a boy. Power. Money. I was untouchable. Until her. Until I met the woman who would plague my mind for years to come. The woman whose demons danced perfectly in sync with my own. A heartless angel dead set on burning kingdoms down and annihilating anyone who dares get in her way. Kadra Sofia Parisi. My dark queen.
Adriana Brinne, is a new author who fell in love with reading from a very young age but never felt brave enough to share her words with the world. Born and raised on the enchanting island of Puerto Rico, Adriana’s tropical upbringing imbued her with a deep appreciation for beauty and storytelling. By day, she navigates the world of computer science as a full-time tech, but when she’s off the clock, she indulges in her favorite contemporary romances written by her favorite authors and binge-watches The Big Bang Theory.
Adriana’s writing is characterized by her love for sweet and spicy romance, soft yet strong female protagonists, and grumpy heroes who secretly adore them. While she delights in exploring a variety of romantic tropes, she steers clear of themes involving cheating or death, preferring to craft stories that evoke all the feels without those heavy dark elements.

Due to a traumatic event in her childhood and her growing up in a very neglecting and abusive life with her father, she’s had to shut down her emotions and close off her heart in order to stop feeling. My poor girl has gone through so fucking much, she witnessed how cruel the world was at such a young age. Due to being the oldest heir of the Parisi family, she had to train hard to become the next leader in her fathers underworld business. Men are typically the crime lords/bosses of these things, but since she was born a girl she was put through hell by her father and his men. I cried for her, she was even raped by one of her fathers men, and he just stood by. Due to this she closed off her emotions and heart in order to stop feeling the pain, and growing up she was told constantly to not feel strong. That feelings are weak, but my beautiful girl was a ticking time bomb that was bound to go off at some time.

HE’S UP THERE WITH DANTE MARONI. I will say there is a 10 year age gap between these two, so please keep that in mind. The author doesn’t do anything weird or creepy with this though, it's focused more on her healing, so it's not uncomfortable reading this. She was going through a lot with her father and his men, so he told her, “𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙧𝙞𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙨, 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙙… 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙘𝙮.” And she remembered it all these years later, and yes she did follow through with it. Queen. Kadra was broken and still healing, throughout the book she still closed off her emotions and heart and he was so patient with her. He was understanding and reasonable with her. When he found out she had stage three cancer I FUCKING CRIED he didn’t want to live in a world without her. Yall she asked him to wait for her while she went through chemo, and he never forgot her for years. I wanna marry him, he's so bbg.

Azariel, was a young boy Kadra saved off the streets, and she took him in and she and Vitali raised him as their own. He was the missing piece in their lives, truly a light in their life. He related to Kadra in so many ways that would break your heart. I love him.
This book was her best work. I have been waiting for Kadra´s book since i first read about her, and i have to say that she is one of y favourite characters ever. The found family was everything for m. The love story between Kadra and Vitali was epic and i didn´t expect anything less, but Azriel was the perfect little boy for them.
This is the perfect way to finish this series. Thanks to the author for the Arc.
The love I have for the characters is insane ❤️🩹 They were everything and more….
As much as I loved Kadra, don't get me started on Vitali…. He’s def something else 😮💨 His obsession has no bounds and the way he talks about her is out of this world!
I love the family they all became and the love they show for each other 😩
But sadly, the writing reigned my enjoyment. The repetitiveness is def the major problem. Also, some major plot points were “solved” in one sentence?! And some aren’t even solved 😐 I get it, this is a series, but it’s bothersome.
It was good until it wasn’t. I did take issue with how repetitive the dialogue became and it was a bit disappointing to see the direction of Kadra’s character in certain parts of the story. I adored seeing her be ruthless, indifferent and cunning. To see her de-escalate into a personality riddled in clichés during her banter interactions with Vitali was somewhat jarring and miles from the bada** character initially advertised. I was ready for Kadra’s tragedy. But I suppose only in a fictional world can all the loose ends be magically tied into a neat little bow especially when it comes to cancer.
*spoilers*
Also an unwelcome surprise for the street kid that Kadra picks up to turn out to be Vitali’s son from an unknown woman. The foundation of this story is Vitali’s obsessive love towards Kadra, so the author going into his promiscuity and the result of said promiscuity really took away from whatever epic romance the author was trying to achieve. That’s a plot point that isn’t integral to the story. Azariel could have easily just have been a child with unknown origins and still have continued on with the story without missing a beat.
On a technical note, this book needs MAJOR revision. So many errors and misspellings that just lessened the impact of the story.

Kadra has finally come and what a great entry she made. I had always looked forward to kadra because at certain points her personality was sort of like me and I am sooo love with her character and how was character was done throughout whole series and her book.
Vitali was of course our handsome Russian who taught kadra to dream and there's nothing wrong in making our dreams come true. They were a powerful couple and fabulous.
The writing and plotline was amazing and done so well I lover every second of it.
Aza and kadra team Cameos were fabulous and I would love their own books.

Oh my gosh everyone. Here I am, and I can’t believe I just finished the last book to “The Unholy Trinity Series.” Through eight incredible books, I’ve witnessed the rise and growth of heroes and anti-hero’s, the forging of unbreakable bonds, the triumph of heartbreak and love between 6 couples, and then the most beautiful happy endings.
Kadra “The Unfeeling” is a book about this emotional and magical journey of self-discovery and love. Kadra and Vitali, are both two beautifully complex characters, each battling their own demons who find each other and create this relationship that is this beacon of hope and solace in their lives. The two of them had me with teary eyes throughout the first 50% and then the last 50% had me bawling. Their love story is the perfect combination of sweetness, magic, and a touch of darkness.
Let’s start with our phoenix, Kadra Parisi. I remember first meeting Kadra back in 2021 and meeting this broken, mysterious little girl who was caught in darkness due to her tumultuous past. Kadra is not just a simple character. She an entire journey all as one. She’s an enigma wrapped in layers of complexity. I got to follow along a journey of self-discovery, from a woman shrouded in darkness to one who learns to embrace her vulnerability and beauty.
“Because protecting you, Kadra Parisi, is what I was born to do.”
Vitali Solonik is the beacon of hope in Kadra's life. Her knight in shining armor. His role brings this sense of balance and realism to the story. Before meeting Kadra and on the outside, Vitali is seen as this cold monster. But when he’s around the important people in his life, you get to see him in this whole new light. His character is the embodiment of strength and love. He helps Kadra see a side of herself she never knew existed, and his unwavering support for her is so beautifully written.
Now let’s talk about this sweet-grumpy boy, Azariel who you get to meet. Azriel is the perfect foil to Kadra and Vitali's love story. This little boy was such a beautiful addition to this story. Azariel, just like Kadra is not so expressive with his emotions. He didn’t have a normal-easy life growing up, he didn’t have someone to make him feel loved. Thats until, he meets Kadra. Her adding him into her life, you get to watch both of them growing bit by bit being by each other sides.
It's honestly hard to believe that I’m bidding farewell to this series after eight amazing captivating books. As I’m reflecting back to 2021, when I first met these characters, it's been such a beautiful and extraordinary ride getting to witness their growth and evolution. These characters teach you and serve as a testament to the fact that despite our past, our deepest secrets, or even our missteps in life, that we can still find our soulmates, build a legacy, and carve out our own version of 'happily ever after.’
So, even though it’s bittersweet that we're saying goodbye to this beloved series, it's also exciting to know that the doors to a brand new world are opening for the next generation in "Ruined Legacies." The legacy of these characters continues with their children, and I can't wait to see what awaits us in this new journey! 🤍
“Dear young Kadra, You cried. You hurt. You broke. You died. You were reborn. You love. You survived. — K”
Where to start…
This book was just incredible, I went through all the emotions, joy, sadness, love, everything, everything. I cried so much, I shed all the tears in my body while reading this book.
I’m in love with Vitali, help me, this man is everything. The painting at the restaurant omg.
The relationship between Kadra, Vitali, and Azariel is amazing, so much love I’m crying. The tea party, the teddy bear, Mr. Bug Eye…crying, that was so cute.
Adrianna, Mila, and Kadra deserve all the happiness in the world.
“We did it!” She exclaims so lovingly it brings tears to my eyes. “The monster didn’t win!” The monster didn’t win. He sure as hell didn’t.”
And Crow, Mikhail, I did not expect that at all…
THIS BOOK WAS BEAUTIFUL, it was everything. I rate it 5 stars but only because it’s the maximum otherwise I would rate it ♾️.
SPOILERS : here are the best quotes that struck me

- “A tea party and we can invite the others. You won’t have to drink tea alone.”
I freaking love Kadra nd I enjoyed every bit of this book. I was ecstatic when I got this book.
●About the book : This is the last book of the series, but damn, it's my favorite. The plot, the story, the world creation, everything was perfect. Mafia Romance? Heck yeah you nailed it babe. The bond between Kadra and Azariel was my fav. I was crying so bad becoz the scene was so good.
●Kadra: This woman is the love of my life. Period. She is strong, badass, independent, smart. She's everything i love in a fmc. I fell for her the moment i started reading about her. She is not a simple character. This book shows the journey of her from being broken little girl who's scared of everyone to the woman everyone is scared of. She used to believe in darkness, then she met Vitali and Azariel. My heart couldn't handle pain she has been through. I cried ugly tears while reading her pov's. She's a queen and anyone who says otherwise can happily argue with the wall. 😌
● Vitali: He doesn't care about anything when he's with Kadra. The man is unhinged and very romantic. The way he helped kadra to rediscover herself nd stood by her side watching her raise hell on those who wronged her. I fell for him . Is it possible to fall for every character in a book? Yeah, in this book it is. He's the light in her darkness. He is grumpy and cold to others, but for Kadra and Azariel he is sunshine. A very cute one, actually.
●Azariel: Let's talk about this cute kid. Grumpy one, actually. He's the missing piece of Kadra and Vitali .The way he cares for Kadra nd Vitali I loved it . I was crying happy tears when he was trying to copy Vitali's tattoos.😭 Becoz of him,the book was complete. His interactions with Kadra were so cuteeeeeee.😭
Adrianna Brinne 😫🔥 This woman writes such timeless pieces of perfection. I cannot express how talented she is and how utterly proud I am of her. She's really brought these characters to life for me in the most beautiful way.
When I started the prologue, I remember messaging her to say I'm drawn in already and I haven't even finished the prologue! This is when I knew I was in for perfection.
Kadra and Vitali aren't your average couple. There's a darkness to them. Both of them. Yet they complete each other and are each other's light to their darkness. In a world full of nightmares, they're each other's sunshine and peace. When you meet them, it seems like circumstances won't let them be with each other but they always find a way.
Their vibe - No matter how difficult the path, I'll always come back to you 😫😫😫🔥
I'm so frickin ecstatic and grateful that I got to read this book and experience as many emotions as I did. This book brought me to tears, literally, both out of happiness and sadness, but mostly happiness. An 11 out of 10 for me and would reccomend it to everyone wanting to get a full mafia experience and hope that there's always light no matter how dark the path is.
The Parisi sisters were really something else. They went through hell to wear their heavy crown. Kadra won my heart in this book. Vitali is an amazing dark prince and Azariel oh boy he is this sweetest pain out there. After an awful start to the Unholy Trinity with unlikeable fmcs and mcs , the men were born into the dark lifestyle, same as the Parisi sisters, yet other than Mila, they judged and gave awful names to the Ariana and Kadra all because they were unapologetically themselves and took no crap from others. I felt horrible for Kadra and Ariana in book 1 and 2 where the two major events completely shattered their bonds. It was beautiful to seem the three sisters but especially Ari and K to finally reconcile.
Vitali was too too too sweet. They kind of sweetness he showed Azariel and Kadra made my heart ache and beat faster for the guy. Vernon, Grim and Crow were amazing supporters, and I absolutely adored these damaged warriors.
The last 4 books were amazing, and Kadra was not only a masterpiece, but it was the best way to wrap up the series. Kadra and Vitali and little king I love you three ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This book was freaking amazing. I read Mila's book last year and was definitely excited for Kadra and her Russian. But, this was nothing like I expected (in a good way). Kadra and Vitali are one of the best couples I've read about... seriously. There were a few editing issues which could have been avoided. But, nothing that affects the flow of the story. I absolutely loved how the found family trope was dealt with and this was definitely an apt conclusion to the Unholy Trinity series. Azariel...my little boy... I'm gonna devore his book when it's released.
This book is a gem and you'll love it. Take my word and go for it. Adriana Brinne is a great author and do far, both books I've read from her were amazing. I can't wait to check out more from the series, especially now that I've seen all those characters in this book.
P.S - this is for the anxious readers like me out there....there's no third act break up, although there's a seperation which was necessary for the story. But, it doesn't even last one chapter so you can go in without worries. Also, there is no OW/OM drama or cheating involved. There are some other triggers though. So do read the trigger warnings before you read the book.
I haven't read all the other books in this series, but from the context that I have, "Kadra" felt like the perfect way to end a series with a bang.
This book had a very interesting trio, a very likable trio. Starting with the smaller of the group, Azariel was the kind of character I didn't expect. You don't see a lot of kids in mafia books, but Azariel was a great addition to the story. On Vitali, I liked him too. He was sweet when he needed to be strong when the time demanded. But Kadra was the star of the book. She was the ruthless leader we usually see men be, and that was defietly refreshing. She was a fighter and the character I was really looking forward to reading about since reading the previous book in the series.
Overall, I enjoyed my time in this world and with these characters.
A beautiful story to end of the series… I really enjoyed Kadra’s story and getting a glimpse into her past and why she’s the way she is. I liked how strong and fearless she became and how she is a true leader. I liked that even though she seemed stone-hearted there was people that brought out a softness to her. I liked that there was found family.
Vitali was great, I loved how he was so drawn to her and everything he did was for her. It’s always nice to read when the MC is smitten with the FMC. Their love story was history in the making as they both grew to become attached to each other and their first meeting formed that bond for them.
I loved the plot of the story, getting to catch a glimpse of Adriana and Mila was so sweet. I loved the scenes was amazing. There was some twists that get you so excited and some that might leave you shocked. It was such a lovely read and I’m looking forward to more stories by the author.
I have been waiting for Kadra since I first saw her in Andrea, and Adriana did not disappoint. And she almost caught me here for a second, but it was all good. Kadra was amazing. I loved Azariel and my sweet, sweet Vitali. Like this one made me laugh, cry and swoon. Like for real, this is like one of her best works ever. I can't even choose between this and Mila. So imma go be waiting for Ruined Legacies. Y'all go read up, totally worth a five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Loved it. It was a great end to a great series. Her darkness nearly overtook her but her Russian wouldn't let that happen. I didn't think I would like Kadra's story of events, bit I loved it. And although certain aspects of this book happened in different timeliness I'm glad it all came out in Kadra's story, it needed to
We all can say that we find in Kadra pieces of ourselves. This author surprised me again. I didn't think that after Mila she can write another masterpiece but here we are. I love the story and I love the characters. Kadra is one of the strongest and brave and she deserve happy ending in her life.
The story is good but the writing is SO repetitive and it’s like the book didn’t go through an editing process AT ALL. Wrong words used, bad punctuation, etc. It made it so much harder to enjoy the book, this is the closest I’ve gotten to giving up on a book.
I had read mila first n I was so in love with it that I had to go for kadra . I cried and laughed at all her pains and happiness . Such a beautifully written character and her soulmate too
