Ever since Lilith was born, an evil entity has had its claws in her. At least, that's her belief. This entity, this demon, has caused her to do terrible things throughout her life. But when a line is crossed and Lilith commits an unspeakable act, she is sentenced to a life term in an asylum for the criminally insane.
Is it a demon or is she just mentally deranged?
By recounting her story, she hopes that the people who are blind to the truth understand what's at stake-their souls. Lilith maintains the notion that she is not psychotic, but that her alleged crimes were necessary to save them from an eternity in hell. For the ones that are blinded to the possibility of the supernatural, Lilith tries to help them see what they do not understand-before it's too late.
Figure out the truth and understand what's at stake-your soul.

Okay, at the start it was a little hard to relate to the main character and a bit much “tell, not show” but that was mostly because it was narration. But the story evolved in layers quickly and quickly I could not put it down. If you want a short, fast read that is oh so very dark, horrifying, exhilarating and real- this is a great book. Read before bedtime at your peri

Interesting story - but there was an issue that I couldn’t ignore: the way the story was told and the overall plot was kinda obvious and too “tell but no show”.
