Not going to lie, I had second hand embarrassment reading this, but overall enjoyed this one (even though it was a rip off of Grey's Anatomy). I had a fun time reading this and wanted to give it a higher rating, but the ending gave me the ick. As my Mum says this was a "quality piece of trash".

My daughter bought me this book as a joke from a bookstore totally dedicated to romance novels. The title of Doctor Dreamy reminder her of Grey's Anatomy.
I loved the book, but it lost a star as the book was basically the first few episodes of Greys.
Saying that, it was an easy read that was enjoyable.
Hopefully she will find one next time called Dr Steamy (after my favourite Grey's doctor)

Dr Dreamy , had my attention from the very start . It’s not only fast paced and filled with steamy moments , as well as wonderful characters but it keeps you on the edge of your seat though the entire book . I literally devoured Chelsea and Cameron’s story In a little under three hours straight. Chelsea and Cameron are both doctors, who have a one night stand after attending a wedding .The next morning they go on with their lives , with. no plans in place to see each other again . But Chelsea is In for a big surprise, as she finds out Cameron is her new boss . This was such a fun read . Full of hot steamy moments, off the charts chemistry, lots of office banter and backstabbing co-workers . Dr Dreamy really is the perfect feel good romance. It should not be misssed

"Doctor Dreamy" by Alana Jade was the story of San Francisco-based surgeons Chelsea Mitchell and Cameron Chase, who met when Chelsea was pressed into service as a last-minute bridesmaid at her cousin Sara's wedding to Cameron's best friend Matthew. Despite a 15-year age gap, Cameron and Chelsea were instantly attracted to one another and ended up spending the night of the wedding together. When Chelsea discovered that Cameron was about to become her new residency supervisor, however, she panicked and sneaked out in the middle of the night.
Cameron was disappointed to find Chelsea gone in the morning, but understood the reasons for her behavior as soon as he started his new job the following week and learned that their hospital had implemented a strict no fraternization policy. However, it became increasingly difficult for Chelsea and Cameron to deny their feelings as they spent hours every day working together and realized what a great team they made. Finally, they started dating in secret and even fell in love, but would they be able to withstand the pressure of keeping their relationship a secret from even their closest family and friends?
I totally understood and empathized with the conflict between Cameron and Chelsea regarding keeping their relationship a secret. Even though it was difficult for her, I really admired Chelsea for being clear with Cameron on what she wanted from the relationship and refusing to accept anything less. However, the secondary conflict involving their colleague Dr. Atkins seemed somewhat convoluted to me.
Aside from that one slightly confusing/frustrating plot point, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it for all fans of contemporary/workplace romance. Chelsea and Cameron were well-matched, both professionally and personally, and it was easy to root for them to overcome the various challenges they faced. I look forward to checking out more of Alana Jade's work in the future.

This is the first book by this author I read and I wasn’t disappointed.
I loved how Chelsea and Cameron first met what happened afterwards and then they awkward moment when they first met again.
You could tell right from the start that they had chemistry and nothing or noone was going to stand in their way.
The way they got together was traditional but in the end they didn’t let anything stand in the way.
I highly recommend this book

Filling in as a bridesmaid for her cousin Sara’s wedding threw Dr Chelsea Mitchell into the path of suave and charismatic Dr Cameron Chase. Unknown to Chelsea, he was to be her supervisor at the hospital she worked at, where having a relationship with a colleague meant instant dismissal…
Alana did an excellent job building this story up. I was intrigued by these two character’s stories, invested in their relationship, and was hoping that despite the hiccups that Chelsea and Cameron would find their happily ever after.
Alana Jade has written a beautifully interwoven story that contains characters you just can’t help but fall in love with. Alana's characters always stick with me, but there was something special about her secondary character, Ava, that took it to another level and added an extra layer of excitement in reading this series.
Doctor Dreamy is the perfect mix of sweet and sexy with mystery, intensity and emotion in between.

Chelsea's cousin is getting married, and she steps in as the last minute bridesmaid. Cameron is new to town, but the groom in this wedding is his best friend so he's the best man, and this is where these two come face to face to end up in a sexy hookup. Little did Chelsea know that Cameron was going to her supervisor at the hospital she's finishing her last year of residency at, she was out the door since she could lose her job. (If only it were that simple.) They have an intense connection so you already know that it's going to be almost impossible for them to stay away but there's danger even in the downlow since there are those out there to ruin them. Doctor Dreamy was a great story that I couldn't get enough of, and I believe you'll feel the same way so hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Upon being asked to be a stand in bridesmaid for her cousin’s wedding, Chelsea regretted the decisions to accept almost immediately. However, that opportunity introduced her to Cameron, he was worth every second in those heels and that dress.
Finding out that Cameron was going to be her new supervising doctor threw caution into the wind. WIll that stand in the way of anything becoming of the “relationship” (if that’s what you want to call it) that was started at Chelsea’s cousin’s wedding?

A fast-paced story about forbidden romance and the lengths some people will go to, to achieve their goals. Chelsea and Cameron meet at her cousins' wedding, and immediately sparks fly. One night together sets the scene for a great story involving jealousy, betrayal, lust, intrigue and of course some very steamy bedroom scenes. Can true love survive against all the odds or will their romance be a fatality of their work environment? An easy weekend read.

Doctor Dreamy lives up to its title. Cameron is dreamy,smart,kind,caring and unbelievably sexy. It’s no wonder why Chelsea finds herself so attached to him after their first night together. When they discover they’re work colleagues it makes things quite complicated as the hospital has a no fraternising rule amongst the staff. When they can’t stay away from one another, keeping their relationship a secret becomes quite a struggle and when various factors intervene, drama arises.
Doctor Dreamy is very well written and features very likeable characters. The book is hot and the story flows so smoothly. An enjoyable read

Chelsea is a doctor and a last minute bridesmaid at her cousins wedding. Cameron is also a doctor and a best man in a wedding. When these two have an amazing one night stand and then he ends up being her boss...oops! Then you add in a no Fraternizing cause, crazy chemistry and backstabbing co-workers and you have a great read. I real Enjoyed this quick read. Chelsea Had a great sense of humor and Cameron was a little uptight so the evened each other out in a great way! I look Forward to reading more books by this author.

Chelsea and Cameron both are doctors. They attend a wedding and hook for a night. Then they forget and lo behold .. Cameron turns out to be the new boss. It is story about hot attraction, cold stares, office politics and lots of love. I like the flow of the book and the way the characters were built up. Wonderful read.

I was looking forward to this book cause I love Alana's books so much!
The beginning, for me, wasn't great. It was a slow start to the book. But once you get going and in like chapter 4 that's where I got hooked and I blasted through the rest of the book!
Cameron and Chelsea meet by chance, and it's a one night and done type of situation. Little did they know that they'd be working together, and have to see each other over, and over, and over again!!
Chelsea's ex won't leave her alone, and boy is he is cringeworthy!! I didn't like him at all! But Cameron can't help the way he feels about her and same with her with him. But they can't act on it. They can't. They can't let work know that they've had that one night together, and they have feeling for each other, and they're hiding it from one another as well. They just can't. He will lose his job, and she will lose her residency.
One thing leads to another, and the secret is exposed of another colleague that they work with. What an explosion that was!! So now can they let their secret out? Can they let everyone know what they've been hiding. Cause her friend and his friend have. Can they?
I loved the story of these so much! How they came to be, and what happened along the way.

There is an instant connection between these two, and they end up having a hot one-night stand, but when Chelsea finds out that Cameron is going to be the new supervising doctor where she is a resident, she takes off as the hospital has a strict no fraternizing policy. Can these two continue to work together and ignore their undeniable off the chart’s chemistry? This is a well written tale which is fast paced, emotional, and with drama, suspense, twists, surprises, and love. I was intrigued throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I received this ARC for an honest review. This book is about Cameron and Chelsea who met at a wedding, had a fantastic time and probably would have continued seeing each other except that Chelsea discovered he was going to be her teacher at the hospital that has a no coworker relationship policy. So it is a majorly forbidden romance. Cameron is about 10 years older, he has his career plans set, now he just needs his dream girl. Chelsea is a sweetheart, willing to help others and dedicated to becoming an amazing surgeon. Their chemistry was written very well and was believable. It left you wanting to route for them to figure their shit out. It was clear pretty early on in the book who the villain was but what happened with that was a real shocker! Great read! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

What secret.
That was a hard secret to keep. I thought they were going to be caught and be fired for having a relationship. Not sure she was thinking when she wanted to let her family know she was in a relationship that was forbidden. She was risking both of their careers. I did not like that she was set up and nothing else was said about the guy. The author did not give us anything else about it. Seems like their was a lot of sleeping around at that hospital. Some of the male doctors were cheating on their wives with the women at the hospital. That was so disrespectful to the wives. I did not like that.

A fab story of 2 Doctors fighting to overcome many obstacles in the pursuit of (professionally forbidden) love.
Cameron and Chelsea's story kept me turning pages and I was actually sad when I finished the book.
Plenty of heat, loads of sweet moments, in addition to drama and suspense. I loved the 2 main characters and also loved to find that one evil witch character that you want to scratch her eyes out!

Need Dr Dream has address
I really needed a sweet love to make me smile and swoon. So glad there was minimum angst in the story which made it kinda believable and realistic. All the characters were great even the negative ones were timely in their roles.Cameron and Chelsea were perfect for each other and sometimes people are. I was also pleased to see a woman Chelsea state her true feelings instead of being a shrinking violet. Very entertaining.

COULDN’T PUT IT DOWN!!!
Read it in one night! True love knows no age limits (15 years apart) and love at first sight are strong in this book. You’ll meet Chelsea and Cameron and enjoy many twists and turns ontheir way to marriage and HEA!

This is an amazing read and has you hooked right from page one. It has the steamy intense moments that have you wanting to know more and more. The book was well written and fast paced and has you engaged in every little bit of the story all the way through.
