Let me tell you a secret about Tiger, he is a history nerd! He enjoys reading about the past, daydreaming about historical events that have occurred in the past, and attempting to invent the time machine in his spare time - in order to travel back in time, of course!

Finishing this book was a joy for both Tiger and me; it is an incredible showcase of the Mound Builder culture as well as a heartwarming story about Mira, Jax, and Adsilha, which we both enjoyed. There are a plethora of books out there that combine history with adventure, but this one stands out because it features strong female characters that girls will aspire to be like.

Despite the fact that the book is short, it is a reading experience to be remembered.

Tiger and Tim are in agreement with this! Roar xoxo

This a short read, but it's a fun read as the author examines a little bit of history and blends the story through the eyes of those involved. The chapters are relatively short as is the book, but it kind of grabs you and I wanted more but the story was complete. If you are on a short hop on a plane it's a perfect read.

I really liked learning about the Mound Builder culture - both the archeology side and the historical side.
