Chad has worked as a phone service rep for various tech companies, a gas station attendant, a middle school language arts and history teacher, and even spent one night cutting the mold off the cheese at the cheese factory. He currently works part time at the local library, and spends the rest of his time writing, reading, hiking, gaming, painting miniatures, and binge-watching Netflix. All the Promised Stars delivers on its promises. Will Corwin is an excellent journalist who falls in love with Amelia Warren, a Sister of Mercy, who cannot form an attachment. But circumstances/life happens, and Will and Amelia wind up together. Will has to deal with the issues that arise from their love, such as his mother, the Duchess of House Sinclair, and Amelia must make a choice between the Order and her own desires. All in all, this book was a great read, and I look forward to the next book. Definitely 5/5.
