Hi, I'm Gina Homolka, author, photographer and recipe developer of Skinnytaste.com which features delicious, healthy, low fat, family-friendly recipes several times per week and Skinny Bits, where I answer cooking questions, health tips, reviews and giveaways.

What originally began in 2008 as an idea to marry my two passions, great food and beautiful photography, Skinnytaste was born and has developed into a highly rewarding labor of love reaching over 3 million unique visitors monthly.

At Skinnytaste.com, you'll find healthy dishes that don't sacrifice any of the flavor that can be found in their full-fat origins. My creations must be both "skinny" and "tasty" because after all, this is the same food I cook on a daily basis for friends and family, and they are some of my toughest critics!

Raised on Long Island, I'm a busy mom of two girls, and I currently reside in Oceanside, NY with my husband and children.

My food philosophy is to eat seasonal, clean, whole foods and maintain good portion control. When you cook your own meals, you know you can feel good about what is going into your body. Let me help you navigate your way around the kitchen and teach you how to prepare delicious, light, fresh meals your whole family will love (and they won't even realize it's good for them!)

Exercise + a well balanced diet + good sleep = a happy life.

I'm also a huge advocate of Weight Watchers because of their “everything in moderation” approach.

I received an air fryer for Christmas as well as a fairly comprehensive recipe book EXCEPT there are no pictures. I like to see what the dish is supposed to look like at the end (not that it often does!) so when I saw that the library got copies of this book I placed a hold on it. It's a lovely hardcover book with beautiful pictures and great recipes with easy-to-follow instructions. I've made a few of the dishes and they were pretty simple and very tasty. Some of the recipes call for ingredients I don't have on hand and some just seem too complicated for me but still, it's a nice cookbook. Each recipe also lists the nutrional values as well as categorizing the recipes as gluten free, vegetarian, low carb, etc., and you can get the WeightWatchers points breakdown on the website. To me the book is kind of pricey but might make a nice Mother's Day gift ... hint, hint.

I am new to the air fryer appliance so I've only made a few things and was happy to find this cookbook at my library.

I like how she gave hints like spraying things with a little oil to give it extra crunch and on what size air fryer to get. I think that the recipes are very doable and sound awesome. I marked several to make copies of, but may purchase it in case I decide to try more that I didn't think were up my alley.

I'm excited to make many of the recipes included.

Gina is back! I was highly disappointed with the last Skinnytaste cookbook I purchased. I had a chance to grab this one cheap for my Kindle, I did it. I’m so happy I did. This book had OODLES of recipes both my husband and I would love.

Bonus….don’t have an air fryer? Gina includes oven instructions in the back.

These Skinnytaste cookbooks are reliable for offering good, simple recipes and this Air Fryer collection continues in that tradition. I saved several to try.

I just got this cookbook and read it and am so excited to try SO much of it. My husband and I were using our new kitchen aid air fryer and I didn’t understand something and we tried to look it up and were confused and then sure enough it was in the book! I have had an air fryer for a couple years and had no idea like I do now after reading it. I cannot wait to try so many of the delicious recipes.

Several recipes look like dishes we’d try. As with all single method/appliance cookbooks (Instant Pot, air fryer, sheet pan), there are dishes that seem easier just to do with the traditional stovetop/oven method.

Includes color photo of each recipe. Ingredients are in an easy to read list. Instructions are in paragraph form rather than numbered list, but at least they’re short, well-spaced paragraphs.

I have to say, I grabbed the new Air fryer cookbook since it's on sale and I am excited to cook some of these! I spent some time loading them into my Paprika app tonight so it's easier for me when shopping. If it wasn't bedtime, I would have added more. I told my husband we might just try to cook through this one!

Not a single recipe in here that didn’t look incredibly burnt or overdone. Only two looked interesting and only a small few sounded good, but you’d have to make adjustments so you didn’t burn it to a crisp like the author appeared to just from the pictures (especially any recipe with a tortilla, those should Not be that burnt for those recipes….).

I love Gina Homolka's Skinnytaste cookbooks and the Air Fryer Dinners cookbook was no exception. There are some great recipes and I have marked several to try in the coming weeks. I love that her recipes are adventuresome, yet still accessible to the average home cook.

Full of great ideas for dinner

The balsamic Brussels sprouts are headed for my dinner table and the chicken wings will be the main course. Each of the recipes are simple and delicious and sure to please difficult eaters.

I have a huge collection of cookbooks but Skinnytaste are always my first go to when trying to decide what to make for dinner. And, I'm all for outside-the-box air fryer recipes!

Made for bigger air fryers (no way could I fit a whole chicken in mine) and some reworked recipes (calzones) but overall fairly accessible minus the king crab legs

Looking for air fryer inspiration. No recipes that I'm yearning to try though. Points deducted for not enough photos!
