As with all books on this subject, some of the content is just too unbelievable. But having said that, I can understand and believe most of it as it follows the noticeable patterns of demon manifestations, ghosts, spirits, etc. To understand a book on this subject you have to believe in the spiritual world anyway, otherwise you are just a sceptic. This book gives several accounts of spirit encounters by unsuspecting users of the ouija board, and as the author says, only bad things happen when a portal is opened through this method, by amature users of the board. The author also put in several warnings (rightly so) of using the ouija board. The Book in itself is a warning no to mess with the ouija board, or any occult practices for that matter, and describes such dabbling as producing negative effects on oneself. Rather people should look to the positive. I have to agree totally with the author. This book is great for anyone who wants to read about people's bad experiences with the spirit board, and will help to educate the uninitiated. All in all I enjoyed this book and have read it twice already. No doubt I will read it again at some point, and will be looking into the author's other books as it was well written.
The way this author writes, makes it so easy to read. His writing just flows. I don't usually write reviews, but loved this. I'm going to read all of his other books also. He starts each story easily and finishes his stories completely. Doesn't leave you wondering. The only thing I feel I didn't get an answer to, was one story where they left the house but it didn't say if the house was sold to another unsuspecting victim. I always want to know what happens to a house when someone leaves it. That is literally the only critique I have. Fantastic book!! Thank you, Mr Harker!
This book will make you think twice before dabbling in the occult. OR having mere intense curiosity. The cases were detailed and so frightening too!!! Prepare to sleep with the light on. The 'Bigfoot' like demon really freaked me out! This book is fascinating and you will learn a lot about demonic forces in an easy readable format.
I enjoyed the cases presented in this book. They were varied and interesting. Being Pagan, I found the christian cult bias threaded into each case and at the end of the book unnecessary and tedious. I was happy to see Ancient Deity shown to be present in this reality and achieving their goals.
Very interesting book indeed quite scary. I did enjoy it really shows how real these things are god protect us all from these evil entities many accounts of dreadful happenings that defi belief and logic I recommend this book of your a believer in spiritual matters
I found it to be interesting. I particularly liked the intro and outro. Harker gave fair warnings about dealing with the spiritual world. I'm heavily into the genre and he provided some insight I wasn't aware of.
