Intrigue, Suspense and Sweet Heat

I never want this series to end. I'm loving the stage we're at between Addie and her men. Their genuine love and affection is so sweet and steamy. Combine that with constant intrigue, suspense, and mystery, and it's not hard to see why this series has long held a spot in my top 5 RH of all time.

Gathering is the second installment in L.L. Frost’s Succubus Reborn serial and this book is SO good!! Things pick up where the first installment left off and I was able to breath a small sigh of relief. The Counsel is looking to stop the immigration process of new demons on the human plane, but Adie manages to get just under the wire. But things get really interesting when it’s revealed that the latest shifting of the ley lines has created some new changes…and some new problems.
Gathering is truly a delight of a story for me and I’m loving being reunited with not just Adie but Tac, Torch and Tac’s little brood monster. Now, I was ready to throw down when my least favorite detective made an appearance, but when the author fills me in why exactly he’s around…I settle down. LOL!
For a serial this installment packs quite the punch with everything that is going on. The author had me all over the place from squeals of delight, to laughing at antics and cuteness to my jaw being on the floor from shock. And…yes…the author has perfected the art of leaving me begging for the next book and the suspenseful cliffhanger.
When reading this author’s books I live in the proverbial angst of throwing my hands in the air. LOL! But in a good way! So, I’m choosing to rate this tasty bite sized installment…5 out of 5 stars. I loved it and I love the huge surprise wrapped up in this book. Read it! You won’t want to miss out and I can’t wait to read what happens next!

Adie moved the ley lines to get her Demons back and in doing so, she's changed the world. Magic is back and that might not be so bad. But there are weak spots that must be dealt with because they are a danger to humans. So Adie, Kellen, and the clean-up crew go to work.

Succubus Reborn is turning into the most intriguing serial in this long series. There are so many different things being thrown at Adie at once. Cousin Cassandra, Landon's disappearance, the ley lines, and the discovery in the wasteland, not to mention the drama that always surrounds Adie is keeping her busy. Plus, there's something major she's not even aware of herself. I can't wait for more on this to come to light. I'm so excited to see the reactions of the demons. Since Adie's attention is being pulled in so many directions, I am eager to see where this story leads us next.

Exciting installment

This is such a fun series. This book was amusing and sweet and exciting from beginning to end. I liked that Detective Sharpe and the Cleaners were in this one. And what a revelation once the made it into the Wasteland!!
But of course, with everything going well on this adventure, you just knew it wouldn’t end smoothly. Can’t wait to see how Adie and her friends get out of this one!

OMMFG I'm in love with this series and I am so glad with this book!! Addie had more wins than losses and was able to accomplish more!! So glad we were able to see her beast and that surprise at the ending. Also, looks like something I have been hoping for to happen has/will. So excited!!
