The deal: for Tish to help me get my best friend engaged—done!

The terms: payback in any form Tish wishes. Hopefully to include hours of favors of the physical persuasion, no reciprocation needed.

The reality: rebuilding her old farmhouse practically from the ground up for her family’s upcoming visit on short notice.

Long hours revamping Tish’s place leads to more than a few sparks…and not the kind that require the fire department. So, when she needs a date for a memorial, I’m not missing my chance.

But surprise! Crescent Cove baby water works even out of town. Who knew?

Now I'm determined to show Tish I’m the man—and daddy-to-be—of her dreams, no matter what roadblocks are in my way. And I’ll use every one of my Lucky-style wiles to prove it to her…

Author’s note: Daddy-in-the-making Lucky is in for the ride of his life now that there’s a baby on board! Lucky Baby is a standalone accidental pregnancy romantic comedy with a happily-ever-after ending and no cliffhanger.

Continuing their ever growing Crescent Cove series, authors Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot provide a feel good romance showcasing a bad@$$ heroine and the adorably sexy and swoon worthy hero that captured her heart.

Smart, strong and independent Tish needs someone to help rebuild her old farmhouse ASAP and Lucky (Thor) Roberts is not just up to the task but eager to help Tish in any way she wants. He’s been smitten since he first laid eyes on the redhead biker, and he’ll take advantage of any opportunity he has to convince Tish he’s the man for her.

Until he accompanies her to an out of town memorial where things get a bit heated and then the realize that the Crescent Cove baby lore might be true and he’ll try to convince her he’s the perfect daddy-to-be.

Tish is a wonderful female lead! She’s strong, she’s feisty and caring ever if she’s doesn’t do “peopling” well. She understandable has some trust issues and seeing her grow as a friend, sister and partner was wonderful to read.

Thor is so swoony. He’s sexy, funny and so in love with her. He shows her how she deserves to be treated and helps her flourish. I loved all the unfiltered declarations of love he spouted.

Lucky Baby is such a feel good read. There are great friendships and interesting family dynamics. It is book #11 of the Crescent Cove series by authors Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliot. It is a standalone rom-com, told from both points of view with a happy ending. Subgenres: small town | surprise pregnancy

Strong female lead. Check!
Adorably sexy, swoony and funny hero. Check!
Incredibly fun and sassy banter. Check!
A baby crazy town. Check!
Two very attracted to each other people. Check!
One great romance to escape into. Check!

I didn’t know how much I needed this feel good romance featuring a bad a$$ female character and a truly good guy hero until I started it and finished it in just a few hours. I always love being the Crescent Cove world, but this book was quite simply perfect. This couple had a strong vibe between them from the first time they met and I loved how smitten Lucky (Thor) was and how disinterested Tish (Ruby) seemed when she wasn’t checking him out. I loved their smart banter, the way Lucky didn’t let Tish’s brash behavior run him off, and the fact that she learned very quickly she could trust him. The perfect mix of sweet, sexy, and emotional; Lucky Baby was a delight to read and a book I could not put down.

I love smart heroines and it’s evident Tish is smart and self reliant, both admirable traits but she’s also a bit stubborn so it doesn’t please her when her family invites themselves to her home for the Christmas holiday and she has to get her disaster of a house and barn in order for them especially for Cohen as he’s recovering from a smoke jumping accident. However, Lucky owes her a favor and being he works for the best contractor in the Cove she’s intends to collect especially given her extremely tight time line.

Lucky has always given off a happy go lucky vibe; so to say his background came as a bit of a shock was putting it mildly. It also made me admire him even more for his work ethic, his resilience, and strength. Watching him rescue a hurt puppy and refuse to give it up, made me love him even more. He’s thrilled when Ruby asks for his help and even happier that she has a vision but allows him input and they work well together. Working long hours together as well as carrying for Butch has them circling each other more and more and when he helps her through a difficult time they grow closer.

I loved their visit to Happy Acres for the wedding of Caleb and Luna and they revelations that came during that visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed this couple’s story immensely; Lucky Baby was an absolute joy to read.

Well, Lucky came as a real surprise and I loved him. I thought I had an idea of his personality from the previous book in this series, where he came across as something of a show off, but I was wrong in so many ways. Yes, he’s fun and funny, and knows the power of a good hair toss, but he’s so kind and caring too and a hard worker to boot. He certainly hid his past well and it was something of a shock when he finally shared his story.

Now feisty doesn’t come close to describing Tish. She’s prickly and defensive a lot of the time, and as Caleb says “she’s a lot”. I love a strong female character but I will admit, it took some time to warm to Tish. However, Lucky’s persistence and determination sees her trusting him and with that trust comes a more mellow side to her. She doesn’t have a complete personality transplant but she does eventually lower her guard and show some vulnerability. There’s some great back and forth banter between these two and they fit so well together.

Overall, Lucky Baby is an emotional story, with just the right amount of sweet and sexy mixed in to keep it lighthearted. A lovely addition to the Crescent Cove series.

Four and a half stars

Lucky Baby is the eleventh in Taryn Quinn’s fabulous Crescent Cove series, where the baby making is in the water, or something like that!

Tish Banks is mostly living her best life—she loves her work at the garage, where she fabricates custom work to restore cars. When her family springs a surprise visit on her, she calls in a favor from Lucky Roberts, contractor and general pain in her otherwise lovely life.

Tish and Lucky butt heads until they discover how much more delightful it can be to butt other things. Taryn Quinn’s writing lets us readers see Lucky and Tish’s relationship evolving from irritation to respect and friendship to more. Lucky’s tenderness toward Tish, whom he nicknames Ruby, is a lovely thing. Lucky Baby is a terrific small-town romance between two people who didn’t really plan on looking for love, but answered when it came knocking!

Loved It!!

This is another trip back to Crescent Cove where there has to be something in the water…and now evidently it works out of town as well. This is where we find Tish and Lucky. I just love these Crescent Cove books because they are so much fun to read. The characters are so lovable with great humor and banter that makes me fall for these books every time. Lucky Baby was just as good and one I read in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down.

What's the perfect way to spend a cloudy, chilly day? Curled up with a good book! My book of choice....Lucky Baby by Taryn Quinn. Once again I fell instantly in love with the story! Sorry not sorry to my fam....dinner will be late!!

In this trip to my favorite small town of Crescent Cove, I visited Lucky Roberts, the town player and a bit of a goof ball, and Tish Burns, a grumpy badass who doesn't need anybody. Until she does and she needs to call in a favor. Oh these two are fantastic together! Tish is so prickly and feisty but Lucky? He's determined to show her that it's ok to need help and it's ok to let your walls down. I loved watching this all play out and I absolutely love when a story makes me feel all of the emotions that characters are feeling.....from humor to tears, from rescuing a dog to falling "victim" to the Crescent Cove water and everything in between, this story has all the feels.

LUCKY BABY is the eleventh instalment in Taryn Quinn’s contemporary, adult CRESCENT COVE erotic, romance series focusing on the small town of Crescent Cove, and the ongoing baby boom. This is twenty-six year old, auto mechanic Tish Burns, and thirty year old, builder/handyman/carpenter Lucky Roberts’ story line. LUCKY BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Lucky and Tish’s story line begins in Wrong Bed Baby. There is a slight cross over with the mention some of the characters from the author’s FOUND IN OBLIVION series.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Tish and Lucky) LUCKY BABY follows the building romance and relationship between auto mechanic Tish Burns, and builder/handyman/carpenter Lucky Roberts. Several months earlier Lucky Roberts needed Tish Burns help to ‘push’ together his best friend Caleb Beck with self proclaimed witch Luna Hastings. Fast forward to present day wherein Tish’s family is coming to Crescent Cove for the holidays, including her brother Cohen, an injured smoke-jumper who will be staying for an extended period of time. Tish is about to call in a favor, a favor promised from our story line hero.. Desperate to renovate for her family’s visit, Tish asks Lucky to remodel her barn into a large living space, space big enough to keep her brothers entertained. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Lucky and Tish, and the potential fall-out as Tish’s relationship with Cohen comes to a head with secrets from the past.

Tish Burns is a bit of an independent loner; a brusque, unsociable woman who prefers doing things her own way but our heroine isn’t equipped to renovate an entire barn, and calls in a favor from Lucky Roberts. Lucky knows that one day Tish will be his happily ever after and convincing the reclusive Tish will be a job in itself but a trip to visit Tish’s family back home reveals a fractured family, one that Tish’s brother Cohen is hoping to right.

The relationship between Tish and Lucky is one of immediate attraction but Tish tends to keep to herself, preferring her work, and staying alone. With Lucky renovating her barn, Tish finds herself pulled into the aura that is Lucky Roberts, an aura that will see our couple on the road to happily ever after. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters as the town of Crescent Cove prepares for Luna and Caleb’s wedding. We are introduced to Tish’s brothers: Cohen, Ezra and Rhett, as well as their father Jeff Burns. Here’s hoping the authors have plans for the Burns brothers.

LUCKY BABY is a story family and relationships, acceptance and love. The premise is inviting and spicy; the characters are flirty and spirited; the romance is provocative and fun.

Lucky and Tish are perfect together

I loved Lucky and Tish’s story. Lucky has been a secondary character in a lot of the books so I was excited to learn about him and for him to get his HEA. This is book 11 in the Crescent Cove series. Despite the fact that all the books in this series are about (accidental) pregnancies, I love that the books are still primarily focused on the couple with the baby simply being the whip cream on the love sundae. Lucky works for a local contractor in small town Crescent Cove. He’s never been interested in relationships and steers clear of the baby cooties everyone catches in the town. Tish is not your soft feminine damsel in distress. She does not need a man. She works on custom cars and has designed a fabricator for that work. She’s been hurt in the past and is not interested in opening herself up to a relationship. Tish’s brothers are coming for Christmas and she needs her house ready for a long term guest. Lucky is hired for the remodeling work. An abandoned puppy that they rescue together begins their love story and the two of them dance toward their HEA one swoony moment at a time. This book is chock full of happy energy, sweet moments, explosive chemistry, snort worthy laughs, and quirky characters. You will definitely fall in love with Lucky and Tish while Lucky patiently pursues Tish because he knows they’re perfect for each other even if she desperately wants to deny it. I love visiting this quirky fertile town one couple at a time.

Love Lucky and Ruby

This book was originally sent to me by the authors for an honest review. Finally, a book where I actually like the female character from beginning to end. Tish is strongly independent and anti-social. She receives news that her one of her brothers has been hurt and her whole family is coming for Christmas. She decides to collect on her favor from Lucky by having him renovate and finish her barn as a place for her brothers to stay. Lucky has always had a thing for Tish, even nicknaming her Ruby. The chemistry is there even though Ruby tries to deny it. She has a hard time trusting because she was burned in her past. Things heat up between them and Lucky slowly wears down her defenses. It isn't until the day of Luna's wedding that things end up changing drastically. I wasn't ready for the book to end but I did enjoy the ending.

Lucky is the one I’ve been waiting for! I loved him as a reoccurring character in the other books but couldn’t wait to get to his story and boy was it worth the wait!
I just love him. Tish was his perfect match in every way! Tish was going through some things and Lucky made sure she was never alone, while still making sure she always knew he wanted her. It was the perfect push and pull of helping a friend and sexual tension. And when they finally caved to the temptation… holy freaking smokes. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was that it ended…
I might read it again this weekend just for the heck of it!

Another great read in this series! I love how well Lucky and Tish click, the back and forth, the snark, the laughs... it all works perfectly! I smiled, giggled, and laughed so much, along with the moments of sweetness and heart squeezing. If you are looking for fun, this is a must!

Loved it! Tish & Lucky's story grabs your attention right from the beginning. Read it in one afternoon! Tish has trouble trusting and relying on anyone - but Lucky won't give up on her - queue the steam! Awesome storyline - the characters are well developed. Love the HEA!

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Tish and her snarkiness and hearts-in-his-eyes Lucky kept me grinning thoughout this book. Their story flowed so nicely and I was right there with them. Adding to the feel good factor was all of the name dropping and the Happy Acres tie-ins.

After 11+ books set in Crescent Cove, they've really buckled down and addressed the pandemic. It's a baby pandemic. I'm totally concerned about these women. I urge them to stop drinking tap water.

Okay, enough with the jokes. I adore these books. 'Baby' trope books are not my thing AT ALL, but when you attach Taryn Quinn, I'm all in. The way there are subtle crossovers to other series' always makes me smile.

I've been looking forward to Lucky's story. He's just so damn likable. And Letitia just couldn't keep her walls up over the long haul - which he was in it for all the way. When a player finds 'the one,' look out.

I know it's not his nickname, but I had Jason Momoa in my head when I read this book. And Tish has always been Amy Adams. Can you imagine a story with those two as romantic leads? *sigh*

As with just about anything from Taryn Quinn, I endorse this wholeheartedly. Five microbrew stars.

🍀 More than luck

Tish/Ruby is a self made entrepreneur and comes across as off standish when in reality she's afraid of opening herself up to trusting the wrong person. Lucky/Thor despite a rocky start in life is a talented and artistic builder. For him seeing Tish, he just knows she's the one. For Tish, it takes a wee bit longer. Fun, witty, and a trip worth taking to see these two get the beginning of a very happy ever after. No cheating or cliffhanger. Enjoy 🤓

Tish is sorta kinda settling into life in the small town of Crescent Cove. She's bought a fixer upper home, she owns a business, and she socializes (somewhat) with some of the town residents. When her brother asks (informs) her that he and their brothers and their dad will be descending upon her for Christmas, she knows it's time to call in the favor Lucky owes her. He's the big, muscular contractor who owes her the favor. He's the hot guy she can't help but drool over (without admitting it). So now she and the affable lug will be fixing up her barn before her clan come takeover her life. Will the attraction between the two of them spark to flame? And when it does, will Crescent Cove work its magic on them and gift them with another soon to come baby? If (when) it does, how will the woman who doesn't let others near her heart and the seemingly forever playboy deal with their impending parenthood? Are they even a couple? Will they (she) ever admit to feelings of more than the physical?

Lucky is beyond excited that Tish has finally called in the favor he owes her. She's been on his mind non-stop ever since he corralled her into helping him get his best friend's proposal perfectly setup. He hasn't been able to be with anyone else since that day, and the only one he wants has been avoiding him. But now that she needs his help, he will be there, convincing her, seducing her, into being with him. If he could just get past her many defenses, he knows he can show her just how good they can be together. Even when Crescent Cove throws them a curveball, he's determined to be her one and only and to show her that he's going to be with her forever.

Ah I so love Crescent Cove, where the babies are everywhere, the women are smart, strong and sassy, and the men are taken to their knees by love. Lucky and Tish are the latest to succumb to Crescent Cove's magic, and I couldn't have fallen more in love with them. She's got walls a mile high, but inside she was just crying out for someone to be strong and show her she deserved love, deserved everything. Lucky was the perfect man to do that, the perfect man for her, with his sweet personality and steady strength and loyalty. Not to mention their chemistry was smokin! If I ever had to move back to a small town, I can only wish it would be friendly and loving, more like Crescent Cove and less like the judgy, ignorant one I grew up in.

Tish Burns is a very much sought after custom car & motorcycle designer. If she can't find the parts needed to revitalize your car or bike she has invented a fabricator to make the parts. Tish is co-owner now of Kramer & Burns Custom Design. When she gets a call from her oldest brother Ezra telling her that her smoke jumper brother Cohen broke his leg fighting a fire and his team mate and best friend Jimmy died there Tish is upset. The plan is to have the family all together for Christmas at Tish's house in Crescent Cove, NY. Tish has only owned her house for a couple months and there's lot of renovating that needs to be done and now it needs to be done in the six weeks before her dad and three brothers arrive. This means Tish needs to call in a favor she is owed. Lucky Roberts works in construction and he owes her a favor. There's a lot of work to get done.

Lucky Roberts is settled in Crescent Cove working for Gideon Gets It Done after living a nomadic life from the time he was twelve years old. When Lucky's mother died at that time Lucky left before having to deal with being put into the foster care system. Lucky was very attracted to Tish who he insists upon calling Ruby but she has been avoiding him after helping him with his best friend Caleb's engagement. Now Tish needs him for her renovation. She can't avoid him now.

Lucky Baby by Taryn Quinn is the eleventh book in the Crescent Cove series. I really enjoyed this rom com. There are characters from previous books to become reacquainted with and I do like getting updates about previous characters. The two main characters in this book, Tish and Lucky have such fun, snarky conversations. I was smiling throughout the story. At first the reader might think Tish and Lucky have nothing in common but I felt they really did. Crescent Cove has a reputation that some say has something to do with the water supply but somehow a lot of babies are made there. Tish and Lucky find themselves with a baby on the way even though they both knew about the town's reputation. I really liked how happy they were about the unplanned pregnancy. This was a fun read!

If you're not looking to find yourself in the family way, you probably shouldn't plan on making a stop in Crescent Cove, NY, because with each successive book in this delicious series, the more I believe that there is totally something in the water. It's either that, or the love gods and goddesses are shining their sweet, sweet juju down on the good folks of the town, but, either way, it is Love and Baby Central for sure.

Not gonna lie, I fall a little bit more in love with Crescent Cove, NY, and its inhabitants with each book. It's absolutely the sort of place that welcomes you and makes you feel like you belong, and I am here for that. What else do I love? That the women are totally bad*&s, and the men are all for it.

I wasn't quite sure what we were going to get with Lucky. Based on his co-starring appearance in WRONG BED BABY, I was not expecting a guy with quite so much depth. He seemed to be all about the good time, and that was about it. But, I should have known. Because the lovely ladies that write as Taryn Quinn know how to create characters that are more than they seem, and our Lucky totally is (it didn't hurt that I could only imagine Brock O'Hurn when I was reading this book).

Tish "Ruby" Burns is one tough cookie. I figured that she'd not be a pushover where Lucky was concerned, and she isn't. But, as I said, Lucky is a surprise, and one that Tish was not expecting, because Lucky on a mission is pretty hard to ignore, and it doesn't take long at all for Lucky to figure out that Tish is his mission. Sparks, oh, yes, there are lots, but these two are meant to be, and their trip to figuring it all out is so much fun.

I have thoroughly enjoyed these books, and think that everyone should read them. Whether you're a longtime Taryn Quinn fan (*raises hand*), or late to the game, you must get on board and read these books. It won't take long for you to be all in, too. ❤️

I don't know where to start with this review 🙈 Why is writing a review sometimes so easy and other times so hard? Even though I love the books. OK, so...

I loved Lucky and Tish. They aren't new characters in this series. Tish already appeared several books ago (book 4) and Lucky's first appearance was in book 5 (if I remember right). So, it's a while ago for both 😁 Both are very similar when it comes to relationships and 🌶️ times 😉 They want fun, but nothing more.
But Crescent Cove wouldn't be Crescent Cove if everything happens for a reason. I really think this town not only has water that is stronger than every contraceptive but is also a matchmaker. It brings together what belongs together. So every couple in this town are fated mates.

The chemistry between Lucky and Tish is 🔥🔥🔥 And the banter is sooo good. Tish is a very strong and independent woman. She learned it the hard way. A secret she kept for everyone.
I so love that she gives everything a name. Her motorcycle, her car, and even the machine she is working with 😁 Yes, she is a little crazy. She is an introvert.
And Lucky? I don't know how to describe him. He is someone who loves to party and drink with his friends. He is also someone who loves to show himself. He loves to put off his shirt while is is working. And yes, all his female customers like it 🥵😁😎
And still Lucky and Tish have so many more things in common.

I loved Lucky's reaction when he found Butch 🥰 It's similar to the situation in another book of this series. I'm not sure what 🍑🕳️ in this small town does this, AGAIN!!! If I ever see someone abandon a dog/pet, this person wouldn't have a happy life again EVER! 🤬🤬🤬
But luckily Lucky found little Butch 🩷

So I have to admit that I was secretly wishing Lucky would be mine. I have been watching this hunk of man through many of the Crescent Cove books thinking it would take a woman like me to tame him. Not seriously but he has been one of my favorite characters in this series. I am thrilled with the woman who has made go head over heels for her. Tish isn't though. She is surly as they come. Independent to the point where she prefers animals over humans. Her new property is perfect for her since it's far away from everyone and everything. But since she's done a favor for Lucky with a favor to be returned later, it's time to collect. Lucky thinks it might be more beneficial for himself but nope, she needs his skills as a contractor to fix up her falling down barn to be livable before her three brothers come for a visit. (Three brothers that I'm keeping finger and toes crossed that will have their own series). I never knew you could take a date to a memorial but Lucky make it work. Tish needs his strong demeanor to get through a memorial that could destroy all that she has built up for herself. And strength is not something that Tish borrows ever. Lucky surprised me in the most wonderful way. His past certainly does not define him or the way he chooses to live his very best life. Don't get me wrong, it has affected him profoundly but he chooses better. Tish is definitely defined by her past which is why her walls are so fortified. Lucky finds a way around, under and through every one. I loved Tish and wanted to mother the heck out of her. She is so intelligent and smart mouthed just like me.

Did I fall down a rabbit hole? (Spoiler)

Well written, memorable. It's been some time since the last Crescent Cove installment, but I didn't find a bunch of references to people and events from its predecessors.

But ... from about the halfway point, I missed something. It happened as Lucky and Tish were getting ready for the wedding. Tish finds her dress is snug on her. Lucky comes to pick her up. There's the scene in the truck which I have a tough time trying to see in my mind's eye. Then Lucky gets concerned that Tish has lost her spark. He starts fishing to get to the heart of the problem. There's a conversation between them that is difficult for me to follow which culminates in a revelation. So what did I miss? How did the discussion start at point A and end at point B?

I went back several times and re-read the preceding 10-15 pages several times and couldn't find a link. I read it again, and all I could surmise was that they had done a mind meld there that caused them to have a spontaneous, joint epiphany which changes the direction of the telling. I loved it, but I missed some part of the thread.

They're remodeling Tish's property, and then they aren't. Why was her brother at the wedding, and what was that whole exchange about? Was there witchiness going on at the orchard?

Could the editors have missed some disconnect? I noticed that there were several annoying typos throughout, mostly an extra preposition or verb that could be tidied up, but that's just one of my pet peeves.

I did love the book and the characters, and I recommend it to other readers. I felt like it ended with somewhat of a cliffhanger or at least unfinished business.

I'm always a little iffy when a series gets to a certain number of books. Will it still interest me? Will it sound the same as the others and be monotonous? It's always a thought in the back of my head even though I absolutely love series books. But while these books all have a common theme (hello baby!) they still manage to suck me in and keep me wanting more!

Lucky's story was different than I thought it would be in my head, all for the good! I really thought, just with the glimpses we saw of him in other books, that he would be completely full of himself and I would hate him. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I really liked him! While yes, he does talk about his good looks and goof's around about it-this man isn't afraid of hard work and is more than willing to help the people he cares about no matter when they need him. And I loved that about him! Tish is that snarky and sassy heroine that I absolutely love! She has this past that shaped her and her brother's but in the long run, she learns that she can not only count on Lucky but that he has a heart of gold. I loved their interactions with each other and the banter back and forth between them. But I also loved how they genuinely come to care about each other. It was a great story to read!

Of course, now we have the introduction of more characters. So that means more books in the series right? Because I need to see her brother's get HEA as well now!! I also loved that we got to go back to Happy Acres for a little tie in to this author's other great series! Can never get enough of that series either!

We are back in Crescent Cove, where the babies reign supreme. Lucky Roberts, the eternal bachelor and Tish Burns get their turn in the Cove.

I absolutely adored Lucky in this book because he came full circle. Getting snippets of his character in the precious books was a treat because he is hilarious, he is so not into babies and has this mystique about him and what he is all about. Tish Burns in “salty,” she is a no nonsense, tough woman who works hard and hangs with the best of them at the garage. I love how the water of Crescent Cove and it’s magical baby abilities don’t even phase her because no way, it ain’t happening.

And then you delve into Lucky and Tish as a couple. OMG, Taryn Quinn epically portrays them well. You find out so much about Lucky and what drives him, but the most important part is you fall madly in love with his balls to the wall devotion. That man commits and never looks back. Tish is a fighter, she fights it all because she has had to; and seeing her interact with Lucky makes you gleam because you just know the fireworks are going to be blazing.

Taryn Quinn strikes gold again. The couples in Crescent Cove each have their own stories, their own lives, their own faults and each and everyone melts your heart. Crescent Cove is the place to be. Reading Taryn Quinn is a special treat!

Pick this book up, I did and I will continue to see what more Crescent Cove will bring me!

The couple: Lucky and Tish

Romance trope: contemporary
Series: Crescent Cove
Length: 339 pages

Plot: Lucky is known for his love of the ladies, but Tish has knocked him off his feet. The beautiful autobody fabricator isn't one for people, but Lucky is persistent and is determined to woo her. When she calls in a favor to have him work on her new home before her family visits, he knows that he can plead his case in a way she understands.

Commentary: Not a fan of the badass Amazonian character, in any book, not just this one. And Tish was so prickly. Not awkward and not secretly yearning for contact like Macy, but just downright antisocial, and she made me mad with how much time she spent picking on Lucky and being mean to him. It seemed unnecessary - but he liked it, mostly. She's just not the kind of character I like, unfortunately. I'm sure others did, and so this book was for those people.

Previous book in the series: Wrong Bed Baby
Next book in the series: Daddy on Duty

I've been eagerly awaiting Lucky's story in Taryn Quinn's Crescent Cove series and the ladies delivered in spades! Lucky Baby is funny, sexy and super fun. While it is book #11 in the series, Lucky Baby can be read as a complete standalone but just know that there are some spoilers for other couples throughout. But please don't let that stop you because you can totally jump into the series starting with this book! Crescent Cove is one of my favorite fictional small towns and I promise you will fall in love with everything about it.

I absolutely adored Lucky. This man is definite book boyfriend material. He's a hulk of a man with long flowing locks (think Brock O'Hurn) and tons of swagger. He's charismatic, caring and oh so sexy. He sets his sights on Tish and she has no hope of escaping the chemistry that they share! Tish is one badass babe! Strong, independent, bossy and super successful, she doesn't need a man to take care of her. But she can't help fall for Lucky and all of his charms (lol). These two are electric together. They butt heads at every turn but it only makes the sparks ignite further. I loved watching these two fall for one another. There are bumps along the way to their happy ending but they do get there and I enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait for Taryn Quinn to deliver the next Crescent Cove book!!! 5 stars

Since I first discovered the Crescent Cove series I have come to love the characters and look forward to each new addition in the series. Lucky Baby was Cove perfection in my opinion! Tish and Lucky have been supporting characters in previous Cove books but when these two met in Wrong Bed Baby, I knew that they were meant for each other in the very best way! Taryn Quinn does a great job of giving prickly Tish and good time Lucky the story that they deserved. Lucky owed Tish a favor so when her brother announces that her family is heading to visit her for Christmas she calls in that favor to have Lucky work on remodeling her dated but well loved home. Lucky has been a bit out of sorts since his best friend met the woman of his dreams and got engaged. He welcomes the chance to work on this project and get to know Tish a bit better even though she is determined to resist his charms. This isn't quite an opposites attract story because the more these two get to know each other, the more they have in common. Like all of the Crescent Cove stories it is loaded with wonderful characters, fun banter and plenty of heat to spice things up! Lucky Baby is told from dual POV and I definitely recommend reading this one and the rest of the series too!

I think this one may be my favorite! We met Lucky and Tish in the previous book. Lucky wants to help his friends get engaged and gets Tish to help them by borrowing her car. (Tish won't let anyone drive it so she's part of the proposal). As payback, Lucky owes Tish a favor.

In this book, Tish finds out that her family is coming for the holidays and might be staying longer. Tish needs to renovate and calls in her favor to Lucky.

Lucky is just such an amazing man. He had a hard childhood and was on the streets at a young age but not only survived but thrived. Tish is making her way in a male dominated world and doing well except for one event that's scarred her.

Lucky is totally smitten with Tish from the moment he meets her but Tish is not easily won over. Tish knows that Lucky is a player and doesn't want to get scammed by another guy. She's not willing to take a chance until she realizes that the sex is amazing! Is there more to them?

I didn't do this book justice. It truly had me feeling all the feels. I loved both Lucky and Tish and was routing for them the whole time.
A fantastic read!
