Camilla and Luke were in love and years ago he walked away. She's been to hell and back since then ... but so has he. Now he's undercover in her real world cause her dad has really messed up. These two are literally fighting for it all. Luke has to fight twice as hard to prove himself cause Camilla doesn't trust him anymore. These two really are hot together and the chemistry is undeniable. And that ending was not at all what Luke was expecting which left me laughing.

In my opinion these stories just keep getting better and better! Luke and Camilla used to be hot and heavy but when Luke had to break it off they still thought about each other. Now a decade later they are thrown back together in the most unusual circumstances. Since Luke walked away they have both been through the ringer. These two have intense chemistry but will she ever trust Luke again with her heart?

Another great addition. I did predict some of the story but that didn't detract from the enjoyment.

Having read the other books in this Zeta Security series I was glad to read Luke's story and also getting to see more of the wives!

Honestly I hope the author does the spin off for the female team that was mentioned in the previous books as having alpha husbands watch their wives to to battle will be hilarious!

Good read

Luke and Camilla knew each other for a long time. Luke had left her 10 years ago. So she wasn't really in the mood to take him back, but when he discovered she was in the fighting ring, he flipped out. He drug her out of there and decided to help train her.

Wow

Loved the story. I was waiting for Luke’s story and we weren’t disappointed. The only thing is I was also hoping with get Angelo’s story soon too. Loved learning about Luke’s last. And wow what a kick ass story. So horrible what he suffered through. And I believe him that he was trying to protect Camilla by leaving but I think it was also something else. He was protecting himself from having the possibility of losing another loved one. Loved how strong she was. But I guess all the guys fell for strong and kick ass females. Steamy moments. Just wow. Very hot. Have to say the ending was crazy! And I loved the epilogue. We got a round up of all the guys and even turner. Who should get a story too (with his connections to Kat and Camilla now). Loved the ending. Lol!

I'm not going to lie, the fact that these recent books in this series are short(ish) almost made me cry because I'm so very addicted to them. Luke & Camilla were together when they were younger until he left her on the worst day of her life without even saying goodbye. It broke her heart but she didn't look for him, instead turning her pain inward to become even more fierce. Fast forward some years and Zeta Security is asked to go undercover to get a dangerous man who runs an underground illegal fighting ring, so he's the one who is put in as a fighter. Little does he know that he's going to come face to face with his past when he sees Camilla & he's trying to figure out why. She's been thrown into the danger because of her shady father, so she certainly doesn't need the distraction of her past coming across her path. As the danger gets more intense, and their chemistry gets hotter, will they be able to get out unscathed for a second chance at a future together?! You know what to do to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Luke & Camilla

Old loves. New dangers. These two have been apart for years. They were teen lovers. She had a horrible loss and he left for a new career. They haven't seen each other since till he finds her in the middle of a case the Security team is involved in. This one is gonna involve a lot of people and not an easy one to discuss without reveals. So...

Steam, danger, family, the MC, and so much more. Camilla will surprise you and talk about a strong woman...this one will surprise them all. She has the ability to capture the hearts of men (not always sexually) and their respect. They are willing to fight for her but does she need it? The ladies don't seem to think so. Yes, the ladies get involved too.

It may be a short book but there is plenty going on. Enjoy

This was my first time reading a book by BP Beth and I really enjoyed it.

Luke is a second chance romance with some angst and lots of suspense.

What I loved:

While second chance romance isn't normally my thing I very much enjoyed Luke and Camilla's story. I thought the author did a great job of setting everything up, there were not a lot of flashbacks and the ones that are present make sense and go well with the flow of the story.

Camilla the heroine is a very independent character. I enjoyed that she stood by her decisions and definitely isn't a doormat.

What I didn't love:
I wasn't a fan of how the some of the translations were done. They would be in parentheses after the word or sentence and it set things off a bit for me. Not a deal breaker for the book or story just a personal preference.

Fighting!

Luke: It was an interesting story! It's sad what a career does to a relationship. I liked that Like would anything to get Camilla back after leaving her 10 years ago. Great writing and amazing characters

Wow, another amazing book by B.P Beth. I couldn't put this book down once started.

I loved Luke and Camilla together, they have a past that camilla can't get over. Until they literally run into each other again. They still love each other but can it be enough.

I just love second chance romances. When there's a possibility for love ten years later, one has to think, it's fated to be right? Well, maybe, maybe not.

When Luke walked away, Camilla was hurt, and life hasn't been easy.

Luke is going to have to really prove he's trustworthy!

Ms. Beth certainly has a knack for delivering a story you know could be your friends, your neighbors story!

Outstanding series. This is the first series of books from this author that I have read. Extremely well written with great stories in each book. Character development in each book leads to the next book seemingly.
I look forward to seeing more books from this author.

This is the 5th book in this amazing series and is Luke and Camilla’s story. These two were in love years ago and when Luke walked away Camilla was left heartbroken. Camilla is focused on raising her little brother on her own, and Luke is working undercover as he was tasked to infiltrate an illegal fighting tournament as a contestant. Fate brings these two to meet again, and they have had a tough time since they parted, and they have both been through the wringer. The chemistry between them is still intense and undeniable, but will they get a 2nd chance, and can Camilla trust Luke again? This is a well written story which is an emotionally charged steamy tale which had me completely hooked and intrigued throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose just seems to get better and better, and whose work I highly recommend.

Good read

Really enjoyed Luke's story. It was a perfect fit for him. Liked how it developed Luke's back story and Camilas. Once I started reading couldn't put it down.
