This fascinating guide Whether you are looking for a baby shower gift, initiating a new era in your own life, wanting to find a pen name, a magical name, or even a name for your house, The New Book of Magical Names is your indispensable resource.
Aside from its intended purpose for magical working, this is a really useful resource for authors and also for creating rpg characters. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because a high portion of the names listed are a bit on-the-nose for my taste, I would have liked it if there was a larger selection of names that appeared more name-like and less like obvious descriptors/adjectives/etc, but there are some really lovely gems included in the lists. I've gotten a fair amount of use out of this book and enjoy perusing the names in it as well as some of the background explanations.
