Austin Janssen-Dirk is a struggling writer with little ambition, and no real purpose in life other than trying to get his ex back. Everything he does revolves around his ex, and as such, every other aspect of his life has come to a stall. Austin’s life needs a reboot. He just doesn’t know how. Finn Connor is a life coach who is single and loves it... or rather, he used to love it. At thirty-two years of age, Finn has come to realize that all the things he used to love about being single – one-night stands with no purpose other than getting off, no one to rely on other than himself, total independence in every sense of the word – are now the things he hates. He wants a boyfriend, only he doesn’t know how.Austin and Finn meet by pure coincidence and in Austin, Finn sees the potential for a new client. He knows that if he injects a little confidence into Austin, and gives him a little push, Austin will be able to get over his ex and put his life back on track. Austin, with nothing to lose, agrees. Besides, he finds Finn so damn hot that even if the life coach thing fails, he’ll have someone to look at.What starts as a working relationship soon turns into a friendship. As Austin transforms before Finn’s eyes, Finn begins to see someone he might actually be interested in romantically. The only problem is he doesn’t know how to make that transition.... or if he even wants to! Will Finn be able to decide what he wants and make a move on Austin before it’s too late? And will Austin realize his own worth, and that Finn is in to him before their time together is over? Two men, totally different yet seemingly perfect for one another. They both just need to realize it. Please This book contains adult language and steamy adult activities, it is intended for 18+ Adults Only. Novel, approximately 76,000 words in length. What a wonderful book! For me it is one of the best by Jerry Cole. The love story about two men with all their ups and downs, written with a lot of attention to the detail and empathy. It is easy to sink into the moods and feelings of the characters and to follow them through their journey.
There is "cute little Austin", too emotional and insecure, predestined to get hurt easily by others. I just wanted to hold him tight and safe, wishing him a sincere love and a good man.
And there is the confident and attractive Finn, the convinced single player, always on the hunt for another date and one night stand. Deep inside he would like to settle down with a solid relationship, but he is way too scared of that and loves his free life too much.
A fresh blooming love which has to overcome uncertainties and self-doubts. But in the end the seemingly fragile Austin shows a surprising strength.
A wonderful read, I didn't want to put the book out of my hands. It deserves full 5 stars!

Finn a life coach and Austin a struggling meet in a very awkward situation. Austin’s boyfriend left him and in that made him a very pathetic stalker without any self worth. He felt so sorry for himself that he is not even able to do any writing, which he loves. Finn is trying to help and the two found that they liked each other and became Friends This Friendship turned quickly into a romantic relationship. All was well until jealousy started to ruin everything. Can those two find the way to each other again? A book well worth reading.

I received an ARC of this book for my honest review. Finn is a life coach and Austin is a struggling writer. They start out as friends but it grows into a full relationship and I thought they were great for each other. There are not many books where I tell myself 1 more chapter and then before I know it I’m done with the book. This was one of those books. I wish Jerry wrote some series books I start really getting into the book and it’s done as there’s no book 2. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a great romance.
