My daughter, my husband and I were the models for Mary, Robert Campbell and "the nameless" Ma Campbell. We went to the illustrator's farm in Bath, Michigan and acted out the scenes, complete with costumes, as he took photos. He created the artwork for the illustrations based on the photos.
