This is the 2nd book in this series and is a continuation of Ryan and Leah’s story. Ryan is pushing for Leah to move in with him, and as her career is taking off, she is getting better at hiding her fears and struggles, so nobody realizes what she is going through, Erin is a fan who manoeuvres her way into Leah’s life, and she is hired as an assistant by Leah, but is everything as it seems, or is there an alternative motive for her actions? This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster throughout, and is filled with drama, twists, passion, love, and is a steamy and all-consuming page turner. I was hooked throughout this addictive story, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
More Anxious is the conclusion to Ryan & Leah's story so you have to start out with Anxious Love to get the full picture. Ryan really wants Leah to move in with him, but with things going on in her own life, she's having a hard time saying yes. Her career is taking off which is ramping up her anxiety but no one sees the struggle she has going on because she's hiding it better & better these days. Leah hires this super fan, Erin, as her assistant, and honestly, it seems like Erin is hiding her inner Lifetime movie while working for Leah. As the emotional yet suspenseful conclusion moves along, will Leah fight for her life or will her anxiety take her out?! You know what to do to find out, and trust me, you want to know! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I’ll start out by saying, I read Anxious Love a few years ago, so I didn’t remember much about it. I also didn’t read the other books in the series. What I do remember is, I did like the first book. However, I wasn’t crazy about this instalment. I didn’t connect with Leah at all. I actually found her a little annoying. The book, I also found to be a little slow. The other think, there were no descriptions of what anyone looked like. And as I said, I haven’t read the other books in the series, so I didn’t know who was black, or white, fat or thin. The author needs to assume her readers a new to the story, and recap a little. This book Also needed some editing.
I thought the writing around Leah’s healing journey was a realistic of navigating through ptsd. I appreciated exploring Ryan’s layers as emotions as he wanted to be there for Leah as he contended with his own.
I had only wished that there was an outcome for the men who brutalized Leah and Dana. It felt unfinished for that reason.

Not as good as book 1. Erin was not a good person. No back story as to why she fixated on Leah. Also not sure why she shot Richard, tough he deserved it.
