WARNING: THIS BOOK IS RECOMMENDED FOR READERS 18 YEARS AND OVER. IT CONTAINS SEX AND SUBMISSION AND VIOLENCE.
I began writing dark erotica in 2014. I found that it really irritated me how authors bring down their male leads and make love stories sappy. I continually began to feel unfulfilled with reading. So I wrote a book how I like to read it. I find that although my stories are full on and seem a bit much, so many of my readers have connected to them. I try to tone it down ever so often in my books, but I find I write better the harder the material I write about.
This is a disturbing story about a toxic, age-gap “romance” between a violent, controlling, sociopathic hero and an emotionally stunted heroine. Adam, the H, physically, emotionally, and verbally assaults Brianna, the h, throughout the story. He slaps, backhands, and punches her so often that I lost count; he even knocks her out twice. He takes Brianna’s virginity and then proceeds to only have rough, angry sex with her, rarely letting her orgasm because he just can’t be bothered to let her finish. He insists on keeping their relationship secret, and controls EVERYTHING she does, whilst he continues to have sexual relations with his older GF and other random women. Adam is so awful that I could barely finish reading the book.
This is basically about domestic violence, where the violence is either overlooked or downplayed, but is never addressed. It should NOT be classified as romance. Besides the shitty plot, the book is littered with grammatical errors, typos, and requires serious editing.
Beginning of a new series and so far, I am very interested. Adam & his family have illegal business that ends with Bri’s brother being killed. Adam has always been fascinated with Bri, and the brother refused to allow his sister be involved with Adam. Bri has been in love with Adam since first meeting him and she pushes to be with him. Adam fights it every step, & his gf, Mary is used to help him stay away from her. Come on, we all know that won’t work. Back and forth for these two and I am hoping to get more of their story in the next books.
“Oh boy he was like so dreamy” these are actual words from this book 🙄 the use of the word “like” in sentences makes me believe this was written by a middle schooler. The author uses the same exact sex scene for every single book. You would think there would be growth in the writing as the author gains more experience, but how wrong was I to think such a thing.
I have to say, this book started off so good, and then turned into nonsense towards the end…
The h was beyond annoying, I literally wanted to jump through the pages and karate chop her in the throat. It was like dealing with a 16 year old. The H had it right when he called her childish because she surely was. Frustratingly so.
One thing about this author is it’s literally the same repetitive plots. Especially the sex scenes. Same descriptions to the point that I skip them altogether because I just know it’s gonna be the same thing. Slapped, BBS, choked, slammed up against a wall, slammed deep inside her, slamming his oversized 🍆 deep down her throat, saaaaaame old stuff. Smh 🤦🏽♀️
is there another book because if not disappointed with it I always give my books 5 stars hut this I was annoyed because you don't end a book like that, although i Iiked the story
