Samuel: We dated in college, he ended it. We were drawn to each other again in Portland, I walked away. Twice we went our separate ways. It’s been years since I last saw Caleb, and now he’s back in Greenford. The quiet, predictable life I’ve built for myself has changed. Something is drawing us together again, and I don’t know what it means, but it’s nice to see him. I still have feelings for him, but we’ve crashed and burned twice before. If I can figure out why then maybe we have a chance this time around.
Caleb: My life has been turned upside down. Divorced, fired from a great job, and forced to move back to Greenford. The place has enough memories, but it seems it has one more memory waiting for me, Samuel. I shouldn’t be surprised that we’re falling back into old habits. We’re being drawn together once again despite previous break-ups. But that’s us, how we’ve always been. There’s gravity between us, pulling us toward each other no matter what. I just hope it doesn’t crush us this time.
Gravity. The force of attraction between two physical bodies. Can Samuel and Caleb escape their own personal gravity, or will they be inexorably drawn together a third time?

Samuel: We dated in college, he ended it. We were drawn to each other again in Portland, I walked away. Twice we went our separate ways. It’s been years since I last saw Caleb, and now he’s back in Greenford. Caleb: My life has been turned upside down. Divorced, fired from a great job, and forced to move back to Greenford. The place has enough memories, but it seems it has one more memory waiting for me, Samuel. This is the story of Caleb and Samuel. They both were college sweethearts but that has ended. They tried again in Portland but that also ended. Then, as is the habit, life moved on.
Years later we meet the guys again. Samuel is a professor at the college in Greenford. He is happy enough with his life, but he has never completely moved on from Caleb.
Caleb on the other hand is reeling from his world being turned upside down. He is divorced...and he has lost his job due to his ex. He moves across the country to get a fresh start and takes a teaching position at Greenford to try and rebuild his world. You can imagine the surprise that awaits him. He is shocked and amazed to see none other than...yelp...Samuel. It's not an illusion...it's really him!
The two start to renew their tenuous friendship. Both admitting their past mistakes and having grown more both physically and emotionally. However, it appears that there is more emotional growing left for them both to do. This is their story.
Whenever they are together there seem to always be a gravitational pulling them towards each other. Will the third time be the charm or will the final explosion finally end it all. You will have to find out for yourself how their story ends. I personally enjoyed their journey, hope you will as well.
Outstanding third chance romance Samuel is a professor in Greenford and was very surprised to see an old face. When he was out with his best friend he saw Caleb sat at one of the tables. And it really took him back. Him and Caleb had tried dating twice well once seriously and then the second time It was a bit here and there. And now it’s seen that Caleb was back in his life as he was Also a professor in Greenford. When it was pointed out that’s it looked like Caleb could just use a friend Samuel decided to be that friend. Caleb had been through a tough couple of years and now as he was divorced fired from his job and now back in Greenford the last person he thought he would bump into was his ex-boyfriend Samuel it seemed like they would always be put together. That Nick his ex-husband had really done a job on him and he was glad to have the friendship with Samuel. What was that all he wanted.
Gosh did this story pull up at my heartstrings. Both Caleb and Samuel are amazing man for each of their faults. I really liked the conversations that they had and the banter between them. They were parts of the story that would go back in time to when they were first dating or second dating, Set made everything more sense. I really enjoyed this story I found it quite hard to get into but once I really got in there it was just addictive a brilliant story

I loved the first of this series and now that I've read this one I am going to plow right through all of them. Not only is this one a typically intensive Romeo Alexander study of men who are conflicted about love, life and relationships, the two in question have been through it before, twice, with each other, and that means just one thing:
It's complicated.
Samuel and Caleb have a history, explained a bit in the blurb but it gets much deeper than that in the first couple of chapters. They've been through each other twice before, once in college and the second time by chance in Portland, Oregon. Now they are tossed together again at Greenford University somewhere in California and it's not a well blended salad at first.
However, it's also not a "fool me once, fool me twice" situation. Samuel and Caleb don't fool around--they just ignore each other's objectives and feelings when it's convenient for each of them to do so.
How author Alexander extricates themselves from all this is just peachy keen in my opinion, and we even get a glance at one of the MC's in the following book, though not much. This is another well-crafted, entertaining, somewhat scorching Romeo Alexander production.
This was really good. I wasn't sure how much I was going to enjoy this after reading the preview but once I got into it I was all in. I will say this is the first for me. The first time I really read where the couple bounced back in forth in a relationship. You hear about it...you live it in reality but Romeo put it out there because it happens a lot. Sam and Caleb tried to make a couple of times before in the past but couldn't get past multiple issues they had. This was so real. The guys got older and wiser...and took tremendous amount of time to try and make it work the third time around. Communication was the key for them and it work really well. Yeah they had another stumbling block but like I said...the guys really put forth an effort and things worked out so well in the end. I was really cheering for them. I'm loving this series so far and hope it will continue...Oh yeah...Loved Lucas in this...he was a blast and a really a good friend to Sam.

Once again, I absolutely loved this book!! I love the flashbacks to Caleb and Sam’s previous relationships and how it just helped to add to the connection that I feel for these characters. I also loved that this book didn’t try to shy away from the therapy aspect because I think it is so important to highlight that sometimes you can’t get through the forests or the issues on your own and Sam definitely showed that in this book! With that being said I wish that there was more of a focus on therapy and the rough times between Caleb and Sam as he’s going through therapy after they decide to walk the journey together. While I love how this book ends even with the epilogue I wish that there was more chapters between the last chapter and the epilogue to give us more of Caleb and Sam’s relationship! However, even with that missing, I love these characters and this book and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!!

I’ll admit, I find second chance romances need to be very well written for me to fully invest in the couple. They’re generally full of angst; the sort of books that will rip you apart and piece you back together. There is angst in this one, and solid work on the characters’ backgrounds and their relationship. There’s also a good premise with them having failed at two previous attempts at a relationship together. I was hoping for something where we truly felt the pull between the MCs, and that also reflects the work it would take for a third try to actually work. I’m glad to say I thought it was fairly well done in the story. Samuel and Caleb have good chemistry, and there is enough depth to them to understand their past without losing that connection. A good read with just enough emotional depth to make it engaging.
I enjoyed this book. The story of Sam and Caleb is one of love, hurt, and finding love again. The two dated years ago until it all fell apart. Then they got together again, not defining what they were to each other and it fell apart again. Now, Caleb has returned to Greenford broke and broken hearted after his marriage ended and left him without even a job. He takes a position at the university and is shocked when he and Sam run into each other again. They will take a journey together that will be a very bumpy road through friendship that will eventually lead them to the relationship they had always hoped they could have after a good friend of Sam's leads him to someone that will help him find the way out of the forest of his mind and into Caleb's arms.

This is Sam and Caleb's story. By the time they both find themselves professors at the same college, they've already loved, and lost each other twice: once in college, once as young adults. They're drawn to each other by a seemingly unstoppable force (the gravity of the title) but nothing about them is easy, and there's as much, if not more angst than steam between them. This is a nuanced description of a relationship that takes work as much as chemistry, and it's delightfully meta about that (see the description, in this romance novel, of what some romcoms and romances get wrong). This is an interesting and rewarding read, with characters who fit together because they work to make sure they can.

The beginning and the end. The time is never right, until it is. Caleb and Samuel, never seem to get the time right. They broke up two times, went their separate ways, then both ended up in Greenford, single at the same time. Samuel has settled into a quiet rut. Caleb, returned after divorcing the toxic husband from heck, Nick, who drained all his resources and finally cost him his job. Caleb and Samual, have the feelings, that's never in any doubt. But they just don't fit, they are off. Are they finally willing to stop, analyze and do the work? This story is a lesson in the level of effort required in a relationship. Good story. Nicely done. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.Very nice cover art!
Samuel and Colby had two chances at a loving relationship and both times, they blew it. Now Colby is back in the same location as Samuel – Greenford. Colby has been through a nasty divorce and is starting over as a professor at the same institute of higher education as Samuel. The force of attraction is still there but so too are the problems.
You could tell these two had great chemistry and gravity pulling them together. They are older and hopefully wiser and with the help of friend, perhaps the third time is the charm. It is easy to see that both Colby and Samuel could use a happily ever after. If you want to see how they get theirs, then do not miss this amazing story – Gravity. It will pull you in for sure.
I loved Samuel and Caleb, both had so many issues to work through, both for themselves as individuals and when it came to relationships, especially the relationship between each other. I really liked how they reconnected and learnt about each other anew and could see how they had changed and what they still needed to work on. I really liked Samuel's best friend Lucas, who told it how it was at the same time as being supportive, he was a true friend to Samuel and I enjoyed the banter between the two of them. I remember Lucas from Stripped and it was nice to see him again, I hope he gets his own book. A really enjoyable second chance novel.

💞College professors 💞Third chance romance 💞Growth 💞Communication 💞I'd choose you every time
I was so surprised by this book, Samuel and Caleb had quite a unique story. I don't think I've ever read a third chance romance! They had a lot of history together, memories and pending issues from different stages of their life. But in spite of their past miscommunication and insecurities, they had never really given up on each other or fallen out of love for each other. I love when the MCs already know each other, already have great chemistry and intimacy and care a lot about one another.
Lucas, Samuel’s best friend and Mateo's brother (Book 1) is a great character and I'm looking forward for his book.
Sam and Caleb seem to be drawn together, but it’s never the right time for them. Now the two are together again in Greenford, and the pull is still strong. Having split up twice before, are they ready to give their relationship another try? Is the timing right this time? Or will it cause too much pain to split apart again? Maybe now could be the perfect time to stay together? But they need to keep in mind that relationships take work. Are they ready to apply themselves wholeheartedly to their relationship now and make it what it needs to be to bring them both happiness?
3.75☆ This story was slow progressing but plodded along with occasional bits of levity and flashbacks that were well done and gave a good glimpse into what Samuel and Caleb had been through. These men are likeable but flawed characters and are minimally developed. There is a definite pull between them, passion, and love - and when they finally get things right, it leads them to a satisfying HEA. Most of their story is angsty and a bit gloomy but the epilogue shows the brightness of healing, love, and hope for their future.

This is an interesting, but not exciting, story about love, second chances and maturing. Sam and Caleb dated in college, but they constantly fought until Caleb walked away. A few years later they end up in the same town, and they begin to sort of date again, only to fall into the same habits that broke them apart before, and Sam left. Then, once again, they're back at the college they attended, this time as teachers. They both decide to be friends only, and things are great, until they end up in bed together. They each have issues that played a part in their failed relationship, but both are willing to deal with the issues. I really liked Caleb, Sam not so much.
This book was very different from the usually. It wasn’t bad in the least. It kept me reading from beginning to end. Romeo Alexander hit on several issues and let it be known that it was ok. Ok to be angry, ok to be mad and hurt, ok to have self pity and ok to seek extra help and support. He also stressed that one should not let these things weigh them down but to keep going. No matter what one is dealing with we all need that little extra help, that little extra push and to know that we are not alone. Take some time and read for yourself. I don’t think you will be disappointed. ❤️
What happens when you get a second chance at loving someone? Then you lose that chance because you can't handle it and walk away. Years go on and you both move on. He marries, then has a horrible divorce and moves back to where it all started. He is going to start working at the same college as his ex boyfriend. Now is there a chance for a third time? Have they both grown enough to realize that they can be together?

Sam and Caleb are going for a breakup and makeup record. First, college sweethearts. Second, romance in Portland. But, it too, ended after a while. After two unsuccessful chances at love, Can they make the third time work for them? Perhaps their circumstances will allow them to work through their personal and individual differences. Life has thrown them quite a few curve balls over the years. Wonderful foundational depth and world building.

Having grown up with relatives that suffered from different imbalances, it was difficult to see the obvious challenges and repetition of similar mistakes taking place. It’s good to see some positive focus and effectiveness of good therapy. I would have liked to see more clarity towards the end so people could better feel the tremendous effort and see the results a little longer as they took root. It is an ongoing struggle with long term monitoring and lots of struggles, but worth it!
4th time was the charm. Caleb and Samuel had a long history of being on/off. This was a simple story of true love winning out and finally finding peace. I really don't want to go do deep into it to ruin for other readers, but after many years they finally got it right. Loved their story and loved the journey, so worth the HEA. Loved it and look forward to more from this series

This is the story of Caleb and Samuel. Two professors at Greenford U. Brought back together to the same college they attended as students because of Caleb's ex-husband destroying his life in Portland Oregon.
Their third attempt at a relationship that they couldn't help but gravitate to. Samuel always reluctant to commit enough and Caleb always ready to point out faults and problems, but now they have grown up and this time it might be different.
Caleb has had a rough go lately, divorced and let go from a job he ends up back in Greenford. Samuel lives a quiet life. They were once college sweetheart. They tried to make it a couple of times in the past. This was sooo good, loved it!!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Samuel and Caleb keep getting together and breaking up. On their third time, Samuel gets help in dealing with his thoughts and emotions. It works and while it is a work in progress, both Samuel and Caleb are willing to work for their love to work.
Samuel and Caleb had a thing when they were in college and then in Portland. Then Caleb got hired at the college he taught at they started getting close again but Samuel was having problems about that. His friend Lucas suggested going to a therapist and it helped and they got close again! Great book as usual by Romeo Alexander!
My Rating : 4/5🌟🌟🌟🌟 . Their romance wasn't perfect, but they were perfect for each other ! I really liked the third chance, 'I can't seem to stop loving you' trope the story had. They had differences, but they found their place. Their relationship development was amazing. And their history gave me something to look forward to everytime they met up! . Kindle / April 2021 / Book 091
Samuel and Caleb came together only to break up time and again. Although they've lead different lives, somehow when they meet again they are drawn to each other. This time they work hard to find a way to stay together. Love the story.
