Redferne Witches #2

Boundless Magic

Rate this book
Hazel’s mind reading powers are back and stronger than ever. She can’t wait to use them. And first on the list is getting to know her neighbor a little better. Even if he has something against the paranormal.

But along with greater magic goes greater responsibility to the coven. When Hazel’s aunt offers her an opportunity she (literally) can’t refuse, she has to lay low.

She’s an adult, right? No-one can stop her digging around a bit. She has to find out if Kirsten was really just looking after the environment or if some more sinister plans are afoot.

Kirsten and the others are circling closer. Hazel can feel it. And sitting on her hands just isn’t her style.

The delightfully enchanting sequel to Brand of Magic!

I was the girl lost in books, but I never thought I'd be the one writing them.

After a massive earthquake, I travelled with my family to France and spent a year exploring and making plenty of faux pas along the way.

It was there, among the cobbled streets and palpable history that I started writing. And never stopped. I write the strange, the hidden, the psychological and the magical.

You can find me between dogs, kids and coffee cups in New Zealand.

Redferne Witches . . .

This was an entertaining and fast-paced story, with excellent characters and a great plot to pull the reader right into the story line. That touch of mystery and suspense will make sure the reader stays there waiting for even more to unfold. Does Hazel find out what Kirsten is truly up to? Can she stop her? Grab your copy and find out what happens. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Hazel is an empath witch can you imagine how complicated her life must be – feeling what everyone around her is feeling. Hazel just feels that she cannot take on a relationship. How can she explain she is an empath
sensing everyone else’s emotions plus she has a ghost in the attic and a sarcastic dog familiar. Isn’t that complicated enough for one person let alone a partner or any other relationship?

Rather Hazel has decided to put all her energy into her job promoting the city she loves - Dunedin, New Zealand. Now Hazel has assured herself that she is going to stick right to that. She is good at her job. But now her neighbor, Joel, has asked her to help him save his woodworking business and stop the sale of his family land, she just can’t help getting involved. But it seems that this relationship might just blossom into something else and then her aunt is attacked, and Hazel needs to pull all her psychic powers together to solve all these happenings.

Almost as awful as the first. Only part I liked was Dolphin Legs.

The cover art is very good but this second book seems to be as lacking in depth as the first one. A bit disappointed but still an entertaining quick read.
