The gang decides to raid Mt.Grief via the Lich King's Palace along with the Tokkis, Team Renji and a few members of Orion.
The Tokkis brought a very fun atmosphere to the novel, even though I didn't feel it much when they were all in the Dusk Realm. This time, I was laughing through most of the scenes. Anna san is still annoying though. But Kimura of Orion fit very well with the Tokkis and the humour was very good.
Renji has his moments in this book and we see how strong he really is. At the end, there's a cameo of Shihoru which was amazing to say the least.
Ranta post time skip is really good, man. I always found him very annoying since the start but now he is more mature while still retaining his bratty self.
The Tokkis make any volume a painful read… even worse than Ranta! Ranta has developed nicely as character though and saves this book from the single star rating . Didn’t expect to ever write that about this series
I knew a book with Ranta on the cover couldn't be good. XD I'm an avid light novel reader, so I'm very much ok with a whole book of dungeon clearing, but... this is not what I'm reading Grimgar for. It wasn't bad, but except for very small bits here and there it didn't feel like the right series.
