Argumento:

Lux entró en la casa equivocada en el momento equivocado, llamando la atención de un hombre que la asustó hasta los calcetines. Desde entonces, ha estado huyendo. Un movimiento en falso y ella sabe que su vida está perdida.

Aunque no tenía ningún sentido, siguió el consejo de una amiga que llamó al número de un volante que le prometía la pareja perfecta. Si supiera cómo deshacerse de su acosador, lo haría.

Nadie era perfecto.

Akel nunca esperó despertar de la estasis. No solo despertar, sino que le dijeran que tenía una pareja era algo que movería o destruiría el Cielo y la Tierra.

Cuando le dijeron que su pareja estaba siendo acosada y por quién, él estaba listo para protegerla. Luego descubrió que el rastreador, su némesis personal, estaba cerca de destruir la Tierra. Se dio cuenta de que podría tener que mover el cielo y la tierra para salvar a su pareja.







Mí humilde opinión:

Con cada libro que leo de la serie comienza a aclararme todo, al estilo rompecabezas.

Lo que debería haberse explicado en el primer libro, sobre lo que es el rastreador y sobre los humanos ascendiendo lo aclara mejor en este. Ahora comprendo porqué este 'rastreador' quiere destruir a todos. También responde mí pregunta de porqué los guerreros alienígenas fueron puestos en cámaras de estasis. La suprema no es el enemigo y ella quiere detener al rastreador!?

Hasta ahora mí pareja favorita son Lux y Akel. Su relación romántica no es espontánea a pesar de que ella es su compañera de vida. Esta el tiempo en que se van conociendo y acercando. Por suerte no se extendió y ambos me parecieron increíbles juntos. También me gustó la magia que tenía Lux con el fuego que combinaba con la apariencia de demonio de Akel.

Kelan y Ashly sus hijos adoptivos eran lindos y le dieron el toque dulce a la historia.

Fue divertida la parte en que Rykiel, Kyran y Akel mostraban sus verdaderas formas mientas pensaban cómo derrotar al enemigo. También disfruté leyendo la escena de la ceremonia de cada ascensión y la pelea 'magica' entre Lux y Mark estuvo muy emocionante.

La historia tiene una buena combinación de acción y romance que se disfruta.

El truco de los libros de esta serie es que te dejan colgando con curiosidad.

Ya estoy agarrando el último libro para leer el desenlace de esta loca serie.

I wish I could keep clicking and adding more stars. However, if I could I still would be clicking. There just aren't enough stars to rate this series. This is a journey you have to experience for yourself. But prepare yourself, once you decide to take this step, you're in for one helluva ride. But, don't even think of starting with Frightened Mate, you have to start with book one, Unwanted Mate or you'll be lost. Besides, why take a taste of your favorite dessert when you can have a full serving. I mean, it's a no brainer. Now, as for this book about Lux and Akel...I think Lux has been through so much in her life she is quicker to accept the unnatural. She is definitely not one to turn away from something way out of her norm. Of course like anyone she'll try to refute it. But then given some proof or explanation, Lux seems to be able to differentiate between truth and fiction. Alek, never expected to have a mate. He is overcome with this new knowledge that he has something beautiful that he's always believed inconceivable. But something evil is after his mate. He must prove himself worthy of her in order to help her come in to her own. There is so much going on, that Lux's evil nemesis is but a small faction, even though, for her, it is a life or death situation. This is an exceptional reading experience. Remember if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first. Just remember to start with book one, "Unwanted Mate".

Big Adventures

This was a great start to a new adventure. The storyline was very intriguing with lots of new adventures and characters. Akel and Lux are a interesting pair and win many battles together. Can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next.
