Rate this book
Jayla Black is a young and determined upcoming model. With such a demanding career she is always on the go. After things ended badly with her last relationship, she has pushed the thought of love to the back of her mind as she stays focused on rising to the top of her modeling career. Philip Anderson is a well-known photographer in the industry who is all work and no play. Coming across various women in his line of work he prefers not to get caught up in something that won't last. Being tall, dark, and handsome doesn't help with him being every woman's wet dream. However, when he lays eyes on Jayla, he is mesmerized by her beauty having him willing to break his own rules. A spontaneous agreement between the two ends up becoming a two-year passion filled adventure. Things start to change when Philip is no longer able to keep his true feelings for Jayla to himself. Jayla on the other hand is too torn from her past and set in her own ways to be able to let her guard down and let Philip in her heart. When Jayla is blindsided by what Philip reveals to her? The thin line between her fear of love and the lust, she has for him become a blur. Will Philip make Jayla comfortable enough to allow him into her heart?

Just wow!

Jayla and Philip. I really hated that they had to go through what they had to go through, but I'm so glad they found their way to each other in the end. I'm always a fan of a big girl learning how to love truly herself while being vulnerable and honest. Philip being there to motivate her, love her, care for her was an added bonus! This book was great, but I can't wait to read about poor, sweet Jamila!

Love 💘it

I can honestly say this is 1 of the best and most realistic romance love heartfelt stories I've reading a while
The couple of show real love Real heartache Real stress real insecurities real doubt. .. That lead to... Such a real triumph That they conquer.
She Is beautiful but also has doubts He is successful But full of insecurities and a need of family. Life struggles of ups and downs and trying to figure out how to love each other as well as love themselves and take on family issues And yet they figure out how to do it
You are taking on a journey of what real life looks like with what feels like real people

good

The story was good except the fact that jayla didn’t trust what a good man she had and kept pushing Phillip away. I’m glad he had the patience to wait on her.
