Set not that far in the future, America has collapsed. Utah, where this story takes place is in chaos. City inhabitants are the first to perish.They have always depended on the government to forfill their needs. Their existence. Rural dwellers survival instincts are higher. Most of Utah is Mormon. Their leaders generally speaking are business men. Ego driven. Opportunist. Not all but a vast majority. People with military training or survivalist surface as leaders. Will ego or opportunist win the battle.In this amazing and believable read, good moral judgement, people with a conscious will. An excellent read!!Enjoyed immensely!!

The next book in this outstanding series. The authors warn the reader about the detailed story line inside the Mormon church. I think it was absolutely necessary to explain how things would happen to people not familiar. The characters are deep and there are many shocking twists and turns. Some of the main characters are in a really dark place. They are also not afraid to kill off main characters. Love the writing style and humor throughout.

Unbelievable
I love this series. But at the same time it is so scary to me.The writing is phenomenal and it actually makes you think that this could possibly happen. The twists and turns and how people act during this apocalypse is very frightening to me. Makes you want to start stocking up!

Freaking awesome series
If you want to read an incredibly awesome series of books you are looking for the Black Autumn series! Well developed characters, great plots and fast moving storylines that keep you gripped from start to finish. Would love to see this made into a tv series!!

Another great book!
White Wasteland is epic. The action scenes are solid. The book takes a slight turn with some "divine intervention". I had a slight Dies The Fire early books feel.

Well written. Characters well developed and interaction between them is great. There are plot twists and turns you never see coming. Getting started on book two. Very good read.

Cant put it down.
Binge read this in one sitting. This storyline is so believable and close to the way real life events are playing out that it’s scary. This series should go on the required reading list for every 11th grader.

Thoroughly enjoyable read.
Love the writing style and the interactions of the characters. This is an easy book and series to read. Are we so fragile that we would collapse so easily? We probably are.

Definitely could be an on going saga on tv or several movie sequels. Interesting interplay between all The characters so much so that I lost track and had to read again a few times.

Great read
This book finds the people of homestead fighting for their lives. Their enemies come from many directions. Not all of them are other people. This story will really make your tension levels ratchet up. Great job gentlemen.

Another Outstanding Book
Kirkham and Ross are the gold standard in this genre. The books are well paced and show a lot of practical thought on how to ensure a huge mess. I look forward to reading them all.

Excellent read and full of constructive ideas for preppers.

Jason and Jeff are amazing together
The continuity, the flow and the ego-less way they write is amazing! The friendship makes for great story because, two great minds working together to fulfill a purpose, hits the target every time! Great book!

Leadership. Hunger, battle fatigue, all damage and sharpen focus for leadership of homestead. Some lose their way, lose their family, others find it. Either way the cost of surviving is high. Ends on a positive note for most.

my least favorite of them all so far i kept having to reread parts. did a great job character building in all the books up to this point and then the story line just got blah. i’ll give the next book a try because I am not a quitter 😂

I had not ready any of these in awhile and I had this on my kindle so I tried another one. This wasn't bad. Another chapter in the aftermath of the downfall of the USA as we know it.
