Recently completing a medical degree, he travelled to America during his gap year, but was forced to return to England due to the global pandemic.
Once home, he set his mind to conquering a life-long dream of writing.
Finding immediate success with his debut novella, ‘THE STRANGER’, writing has now become a full-time hobby with many planned releases to follow.
As well as a burgeoning writing career, Dhani has started a three year core training course in psychiatry.

Having had endured the loss of a significant other, I could relate the exigency of wanting just one more moment with that person. The Stranger is beautifully told by the new author, Dhani Ewing. I assure you, this will be a name that will be remembered. His writing is flawless and exquisite as he guides us to the wonderous waterfront of Liverpool.
I will admit, Raven is a character I very much relate to and her journey is one that I had wish I could have had a similar opportunity in life. Without giving the story away, it is a wonderful love story that will captivate your heart.

A truly wonderful debut novella from Dhani that packs a punch and has real heart and soul.
The characters, Raven and Dalton, phase to life in 3D magnificence and tell us their tale of lost love found again under the most mysterious of circumstances.
This book is so gorgeously written and descriptive when the lockdown is lifted I aim to visit these locations described and see them for myself.
Well worth 5 STARS!

I'm not a fan of reading romance, but the English-setting aspect of this caught my eye. Another plus; there are many places I recognise from the story, drawing me in entirely and keeping my attention.
Fantastically written, engaging and fully characterised.

What an amazing story for Dhani Ewing’s first novella. The love Raven had for Dalton will make you wish we all had that kind of love. After his death she could not go on because she had no closure and she never got to say goodbye. She talked her father into letting her cross to say goodbye to Dalton. Her journey is beautiful and wonderful. I wish I could do what Raven did to say goodbye to my husband who died during Covid and I did not get to say goodbye either. You will enjoy this beautiful romantic story.

This book was excellent. You would never know that this was a debut book. This story is so well written and the characters well developed. This book has all the feels and it definitely makes you feel them. You don't want to miss out on Raven's journey. I highly recommend this book.

This beautifully written love story really pulls at the heart strings, reminding me of how lucky you are when you meet your true sole mate.
I loved Dalton and Raven and could feel the familiarity and love that flowed between the two of them.
I’m excited to read more by Dhani Ewing as he held me totally captivated right from the very start of this story.

What a start to Dhani's writing career. I was held captive through the entire book. This book shows love has no bounds. When you find love grab it, hold on to it, cherish it. I promise you will enjoy this book immensely. And the ending....... WOW!!!

This debut story by Dhani Ewing is pure brilliance. It has all the makings of the perfect love story. Raven and Dalton as characters are perfect for each other. Circumstances in Ravens past have her wanting, no needing to find closure so she can move on with her life. She meets Dalton on a dark and stormy night at a predestined place, and their story unfolds.
I don't want to say too much because I will give too much away. Just do me a favor and add this to your TBR! Highly recommended read!!

This charismatic and spectacular debut novella by new author Dhani Ewing will draw you in and never let you go. His writing is exciting, exceptional and beyond words. Everything about this is breathtaking, touching and will open your heart to love you never imagined. Raven and Dalton’s chemistry is off the charts. From the first word until the last, You are pulled into every word that you never want it to end. I cannot say enough about this except, this will touch and be in your heart forever.

Have you ever fought with all you had for something your heart says you must do? Well Raven does just that. She defies the odds to follow her heart. I felt everything that Raven felt as she followed the path she was taking. I strongly recommend this marvelously unique, superbly written, debut story by Dhani Ewing.

This debut story by Dhani Ewing was incredible. I can’t put into words how phenomenal it truly was. It’s a beautiful story, that’s so wonderfully written, and it totally captivated me from beginning to end. Raven and Dalton were such wonderful characters. This book showed me that the power of love is everything. I highly recommend this talented author’s work to all readers.

This was a lovely short story to read. I love the two words and being able to go through then to read a doppelgänger to finish unfinished business and then to find your soul still belongs to them.

This is Dhani’s debut but you can’t tell. I really liked his writing style. I enjoyed the English touch.
This is a heartbreaking story about Raven grieving over the sudden loss of her husband. She wants to have one more chance to get to say Goodbye. Everyone who lost someone close knows how this feels.
I love Dalton, such a great, caring and nice guy.
I’m so happy to have caught Dhani as an author and so looking forward to his next books. I’m sure there will be a lot more to come.

I loved Raven and Dalton’s short story. What a fabulous debut from this author. Their story was so beautifully written. I loved the journey I was on. The writing is phenomenal, their story gives you all the feels and their love for one another was beautiful. Can’t believe this is a debut. Highly recommend this story.

The Stranger by Dhani Ewing is one of my favorite books of the year. The author's debut novella really hit home for me. I could relate to Raven. The first thing I think of in regards to The Stranger is the imagery and description of the scenes, characters, and the locations. Dhani Ewing also is masterful in the way he weaves a story. The characters are so well developed that I got a sense of them immediately. I was engaged in this novella. Kudos to Dhani Ewing for his brilliantly written debut novella.

Amazing short story full of heart and emotion. Easy to read and the story flow very smooth. We are greeted with Raven beseeching her father permission to visit a parallel dimension where her love’s doppelgänger resides. Only goal is for closure toward her grief. Only realizing she gets this one opportunity to say goodbye. Raven is able to get her wish. Beautiful story that makes me want to read more.

This is a really good story that keeps you interested but a little on the weird side. It takes awhile to figure out what in the world is going on and then it ends with a cliffhanger.
Raven lost her husband in a tragic accident, when she hears of a way she can say goodbye, she has to try so she can move on. The problem is, it is against the law and Raven has to convince her dad to break the law and let her do it. But if granted this chance there are rules to be followed and there could be consequences.

"Change is coming but from which direction and where, I have no idea."
This was such a sweet story of love, loss, last chances, and second chances!
My heart broke for Raven, just wanting that one last chance to say goodbye. Then, crossing boundaries to find it, and get a second chance at joy and unfulfilled promises at the same time.
It's a quick read, but full of so much emotion! I was sad to see it end - I wanted more!
This does have a bit of a fantasy/sci-fi vibe, which is not usually my thing, but this story kept me captivated and invested in the characters!
Definitely give it a read!

Heart melting love

Beautifully Written

A beautiful, beautiful short story!
This is nothing like I was excepting but what a lovely surprise it was.
A beautifully written love story that sucked in all of my emotions with each page I read.
I'm a romantic at heart so this ticked every box for me. I would love to read more of Dalton and Raven.

It was a bit sad but that only made me want Raven to be happy in the end even more. Really original story and a really original idea for what Raven had to do in the end in order to find her happily ever after.

This was Dhani Ewing's 1st book and it was a wonderful short love story. It ended way to quick but didnt leaving you hanging. Excellent writing with great character's. Looking forward to Mr. Ewing's future books.

The world Dhani Ewing created was perfect for this tale. Raven's broken heart needed to heal and there was only one option. Now if only she could convince her father to allow it. A quick read with a wonderful love scene. You'll have to pick this up for yourself as I highly recommend it.
