Celyse has been stripped of the Strong name, banished from her home, and sent to the dreaded Sublands. Imprisoned with a small band of loyal friends, she plots her escape so she can expose the treachery of the new queen and reunite with Julio. But trickery and deceit abound, and Celyse finds herself questioning everything she knows.
Julio is ripped away from Celyse moments after he stepped through the portal. With no idea how to get back to her, he decides to seek out the fae secretly living in the human realm. One of them must know a hidden way to Faevenly, and he’s determined to find it.
But Celyse and Julio don’t know the depths of the new queen’s depravity or the steps she’ll take to make sure her throne is secure. She won’t let anyone steal her birthright. Least of all someone who isn’t a pure-blooded fae.
With dangers mounting and loyalties tested, can Celyse and Julio find each other before the new queen destroys everything in her path? Including them?
Fae Fractured is the second book in the Fae Bloodlines series and continues the story of Celyse and Julio as they desperately try to reunite while fighting not only for their own survival, but the survival of the entire human race.

I loved reading the next part of Celyse and Julio’s story. It was great to see how the “Good” characters each built upon their strengths and worked together to beat back the “Evil” ones. The intertwining of the two worlds is a new take on faeries and I am looking forward to the next book to see how Feavenly rebuilds and how Celyse and Julio make out (wink wink, very punny) in the ‘real’ world.
The highly anticipated book 2 in the Fae Bloodlines Series is now available! Fae Fractured continues the epic story of fae princess, Celyse, and seemingly ordinary human, Julio, as they struggle to survive the wrath of a vengeful queen and a deadly witch.
Fae Fractured, book 2 in the Fae Bloodlines Series, releases July 29th, and I'm SO EXCITED!!
Fae Fractured means so much to me because it continues the epic love story of Julio and Celyse, and I have LOVED writing about them!! There's nothing more exciting, at least for me, than a tale of an ordinary person falling in love with an extraordinary one. Kinda like Princess Diana and Steve Trevor. And Edward and Bella. lol These love stories are the best because they are not expected to happen...let alone work out. (Or do they work out?? Princess Diana would say no!) Anywho, enough about that because I don't want to give anything away! You just need to read Fae Fractured to see what I mean. 💘
Sigh...I just absolutely love this series! There were so many unexpected twists, and expected outcomes that were just even better than anticipated!
Watching the characters grow and make grown-up choices was both difficult and thought-provoking. I felt the emotions that Celyse went through. The way she felt protective over her friends and people. I'm going to miss this series so much!
Now that Julio and Celyse are separated, they are willing to do anything to find each other again. Julio is stuck in the human realm, but he is desperate to find his way back to the Fae princess who has captured his heart. As for Celyse, she is now a prisoner of the new High Queen, but that isn't stopping her determination to return to Julio. With the combined skills of their allies, Julio and Celyse are determined to take down the High Queen once and for all.
Wow!!! This book was beautifully vivid and utterly intense, and I loved every second of it. Celyse really grows in this one, becoming the strong, capable woman I always knew she was meant to be. As for Julio, I continue to be incredibly impressed with his devotion to Celyse. He would do anything to protect her, and I think she needs him in her life. The action scenes were amazing, and I loved all the side characters. I would completely recommend!!!
I enjoyed this second book of the Fae Bloodlines series.
Were the plot twists predictable? Most of them, yes, and it was still satisfying!
The characters continue to develop and build stronger relationships and connections.
Also, it's reasonable to note that while there is discussion that the MMC and his family are Catholic, they pray, etc. There are no "teachings of the church", and even a closed door scene in the book. I thought the inclusion of their family beliefs was done in a very tasteful way.
I loved this book! It started right where the first book left off and I’m glad I didn’t miss a moment of the action. And there was a lot of action! This book was fast-paced and I found it hard to put down. Each character POV brought a unique perspective and added a richness to the story that I enjoyed.
We carry on from where book one left us and once again I found myself lost into this incredible world. It’s one hell of an adventure, it’s exciting, it’s entertaining and it’s so so good! A war on which two sisters are divided, a war which effects Humans, Fae, Witches,, is action packed and fast paced. There’s love, friendship, romance along with betrayal and loss. It’s a great continuation!
The 2nd book in the Fae bloodlines series did not disappoint. Celsye and Julio's story continues. It's action packed and I couldn't put it down. Great read, can't wait for book 3.
I loved the first book of this series, Fae Away, and one-clicked the second, Fae Fractured, and pre-ordered the third right away. The second doesn't disappoint as we find Celyse and Julio running from her evil sister and the warlock aiding her. There are a couple of fun surprises. I love how we get different first person accounts from the characters and this books sets up the next one wonderfully! I can't wait for the next release!
Fae Fractured by Rose Garcia is the second book in the Fae Bloodline Series and was filled with fear and power. We pick up right where we left off, Celyse is banished, Julio is back in the human world, all their friends and allies are either captured or dead, and there’s a new queen, Malena. Malena has to come into her power as high queen while Julio and Celyse continue to fight to overthrow her. Will they succeed or just cause more problems? This is the continuation of the fight of their lives.
This time, there was a huge focus on family! The fact that one family worked together while another completely split apart. The family came together to protect each other and there was more of an expansion of the familial magic. There was also the theme of living up to others’ expectations, and not really knowing your own power. Those that constantly want to live up to someone else's ideals will continuously seek approval.
In addition to the familial aspects, there were also emotional themes explored, grief, hatred, fear, and even trust. The grief was threaded throughout the entire story, which was expressed in different ways depending on the people. Some expressed fear and others became stronger. The hatred that came up misconstrued thoughts and more threats of treachery appeared. There was a new normal and trust was put in the wrong people. All of these themes are so common in our society and can be very relatable.
As this story is told in a multi-POV, it flipped between characters and their perspectives, which was interesting. The only issue with that was that there were some random occurrences of one off character POVs and I had no idea who they were. I had to go back and see who was speaking. They could’ve told their perspective within someone else’s chapter or had a larger part throughout the novel. It would've been more balanced. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the second installment. This story is getting deeper with each book!
I’d highly recommend reading the first book first and then coming to this one.
I’m ready to see what’s going to happen next with Celyse and Julio in Fae Hunted.
*This was an honest review for a complimentary copy of Fae Fractured from Rose Garcia via BookSirens
I can’t express how much I loved this book! It has had me feel so fulfilled, and the writing has gotten way more intimate since the previous one. I always get so scared for the sequel of any book, because most of the time they are worse than the first one- and I end up just hating it. So, let me tell you how happy I was when this turned out to be much better than the first book!
My biggest issue with the first book was that it was overwhelming at times with everything that was happening: and I wish that some parts allowed you more time to process everything instead of jumping into the next thing. I can’t even recall being overwhelmed this time! Unless you count having stress for the characters endangerment- but that’s what makes a book good; when you can feel for and with the characters.
I was waiting, since three days ago after I finished the first book, for the romance to finally kick in. I was worried it wouldn’t, since the first book didn’t seem to have much. For this love that is supposed to feel so magical and intimate, I didn’t understand or feel for the relationship at all. However, this book washed that all away! It was making me feel every emotion, and I could see the love so vividly. I finally understand the desperate and aching and complicated love that they have for each other: I can finally feel the whole and beautiful love that is between these characters.
There are some holes in the plot and character backgrounds- for minor and major- that I expect will be filled in next book. To put it in simpler terms, parts of the story that don’t add up. I can most definitely say, though there were holes, it didn’t take away my joy reading this! That’s why I am keeping my rating of 5 stars instead of 4 stars- I believe the technical should be addressed, but not held over the praise. I would go into more detail of the parts I really enjoyed and felt for, and the parts that didn’t make much sense, but I wish to not spoil the book!
I would just like to end in saying that my heart is full of joy and love, for the character, plot, and the author for making my day.
Thank you to the author and publisher for providing me with an ebook advance reader copy for free- in exchange of me leaving a review both honestly and voluntarily.
This book takes place right after the first one. Things did not quite go as planned in the end for everyone. Now that Malena is in control with Draven, Celyse is determined to rescue her friends, reunite with Julio, and stop Malena and especially Draven.
This book was a bit more fast-paced than the previous one. Events occurred rather quickly, especially the end. It was a bit anti-climactic, which may just be because it was leading up to the next book.
I really love Julio. He is such a kind and loyal person. We get to really meet his family, and can I just say his family is so awesome! They just take everything with stride like it's an every day thing and are determined to help Julio. His mom is so cool as Manny says, and I couldn't agree more!
Celyse was still a bit of a bland character for me, but I do love the relationships she has built with the other fae and humans in order to help their kingdoms and lands.
This has a bit of the found family trope to it. They do act like family. They have disagreements and will argue, but in the end have the same goal in mind and will work to achieve it despite their differences. I think as the story progressed they all realized each can be trusted and will help them in the next book. I also love how some of them have improved their relationships with each other, like Leto. He now is basically the best of friends with the humans, and I love how snarky he now is. And although it was rather anti-climactic at the end, I am curious to know how the story will continue.

What truly makes this book shine is the intertwined fae and human worlds. Celyse and Julio's worlds come together in an interesting way, and bring so much character to the story. Julio's family and friends bring a unique depth to this world, which ends up being just as important to the story as the fae world.
I really enjoy how Julio and his family are just as useful as the fae. He is not looked down upon for being human and brings a lot to the table. I can't say I've read another book in the fae genre like this.
Celyse and her group keep you wanting more. Each character is so unique and has their own opinions and strengths to lend. I really enjoyed the somewhat rag tag team, and how they all come together even though they may not all see eye to eye.
The ending of this book is a nice cliffhanger. Not too intense, but keeps you wondering what will unfold in the next book. I'm excited to see more of Celyse in the human world!
YAY!! I finally got to read Fae Fractured. It was a whirlwind of a journey and I was pleasantly surprised with this story. This book has all the feels and I don't usually connect with so many characters in a book but I did. I was immersed by all the emotions, scheming, trickery, loyalty, sorrow, loss, fighting spirit, perseverance, strength, love, and finally joy.
This story starts where book one left off. It is easy to get swallowed in. The story flows easily and the sensual scene was pleasantly tasteful. You were left to you're own imagination/interpretation. I'm looking forward to the continuance in book three.
I received Fae Fractured (Fae Bloodlines #2) through Bookfunnel and thoroughly enjoyed. In this book Celyse has been stripped of the Strong name and sent to the Sublands and imprisoned with a small band of loyal friends. She plots her escape so she can stop the treachery of the new queen. Meanwhile Julio was ripped away moments after he stepped through the portal. If he can trust himself and his abilities he can find Celyse again, if he fails he'll never see her again. Melina's, the new queen, depravity knows no bounds including striking a deal with a bloodthirsty witch. Read to see what happens. I definitely recommend this book that is available on Amazon.
Fae Fractured tells the story of Princess Celyse, a fae princess, and the mortal Julio who try to protect the world from being taken over by Celyse's enemies. The concept is great, but I think that the characters were not developed enough, nor was the world building sufficient for the plot. I found it hard to relate to the main characters and at times I could not understand why some of the plot choices were made. The villain could have been developed into a much more 3 dimensional, but this was an opportunity lost. 3/5 stars
This picks up right after the end of book one and just keeps going. I couldn't put this one down, is just takes you in and swallows you whole. You get a bit of everything. Sisters on different sides of a war, Humans, Fae, Witches, action, friendships and love. Celyse and Julio may be from different worlds, but they and the story bring them together so well. I can't wait to see how the rest of their story plays out.
My words to describe it is AMAZING. I loved how Rose finish this part of serie. I started reading and ate the book. :D She caught us with the action, suspense in this book. Ah, and the romance of Celyse and Julio is so cute. I liked the ending she did and it's a great hook for new books. As I recommended the first book, I'll do again with it. :D
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Friendships are formed. Family bonds are broken. Destinies will be defined. Forbidden Love will be attained. This book is filled with humor, banter, deceit, betrayal, and love. Well-developed characters and detailed world-building.
"Good always wins in the end."
Enjoyed this second book by Rose Garcia, and I'm curious to see how the storyline changes in book 3.
This was as good as the first book. I loved the phase of the book. I couldn't put it down. In the second book I got to learn alot more about the characters and the world too.
It was both sad and happy at the same time. Though I felt that towards the end it was a little rushed. But never the less I enjoyed the read very much.
5 out of 5 stars Awesome read!! If you have not read book 1 Fae Away, you should!!! Wow!!! Alot happened in this book ... Julio has magic powers that happened in book 1 Fae Away... did he call upon his magic in book 2? I really can't give a review because I would give so much away.. but you definitely must read it!!! Rose Garcia , this book is awesome... can't wait to dive into book 3
I had a hard time putting my tablet down so I could sleep! I love that Rose wrote Austin, Lake Travis, Dropping' and others into the story. I made me feel that I was there!
I loved the second book in the series! The story has a little of everything. Lots of action, friendship, love. You have the fairy world and the human. Humans and brownies and witches. It's all wrapped up to be an amazing fantasy story. The perfect ingredients for me.
Ad much as I loved these books, I will have to say goodbye. I wish this author used Kindle Unlimited. I am on a fixed income and just can't afford the books. For those who can, enjoy!
Author did it again was thoroughly pleased with this book as well!! Kept me enticed wondering what would happen next, can't wait to continue the story in the next book!! Bravo!! Highly recommend 👌
A beautiful continuation of part 1. I really enjoyed that in this one we got more point of views than just Julio and Cylese, it really brings you into the world this book has created. Very excited to move onto book 3!
This book was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat hoping these characters would make it out alive. I also adore Julio and Celyse. They start out as friends who meet across worlds and fall in love. Not to mention, the amount of love and support they have for each other is beautiful to see.
Wow absolutely fantastic. Absolutely loved this story. It’s so different from other Fae books. But it had me reeled in. Can’t wait to read the next book
