Beautiful way to raise awareness! Highly recommend!
There are so many great things to say about this book! It is a beautifully written and an inspiring story for even adults! For any parent or teacher out there having their kids learn about the ocean or planet, or maybe even Earth Day, I highly recommend this book be shared! The illustrations are captivating, showing the story of a young girl growing up and the changes of the ocean over time. It educates the viewers on how we can do our part to protect the ocean and our planet, as simply as picking up trash or using less plastic. I absolutely love the author’s compassion and mission to raise awareness on this topic. She is an elementary school teacher and if you have a chance, check out her website! As a beach and ocean lover, I will be telling my friends about this book to purchase for their kids!

Meaningful book with gorgeous illustrations
I really enjoyed this book. It has many lessons within it that are doable at any age and ends with an aspirational profession which exposes children to what job could be possible. Innovation, local beach cleanups, and most of all love and empathy are wonderful things children will learn when reading this book.

THIS IS THE BEST BOOK ON THE ENVIRONMENT!!! I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!
So, first, I am ten years old, and love this! I never really thought about the fishing nets, plastic bottles, and everything. It was so amazing, (but sad), to see the impact in just a couple of years. I am so grateful to the author for writing this. I just watched a documentary with my family about everything that is happening to the sea. I love this so much because it teaches kids younger and the same age as me about the impact on the environment. Also, the book itself was so amazing. I loved seeing all those colorful fish, turtles and everything else. The main character, Kai, was so inspirational. I want to be like her when I grow up, and can’t wait for the next book! So, again, thank you so much!

Brilliant book so much needed nowadays!
This is a spectacular book, which needs to be read by every child and their parents. Nowadays, children do FEEL for nature, as their own body. We, as parents, can help them by sharing proper information about recycling, not using plastic and other harmful materials, as well as taking part in cleaning activities of their neighborhood, whether it’s an ocean or a forest.

An absolutely stunning book!
I love this book so much!! The message is such an important one, that although I read it as an eBook, I will be going straight back to buy a few physical copies, for my children and their schools! The illustrations are amazing and such a great fit for the story too. 100% recommend this to all parents - and gift some to your local schools too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a lovely way to read and learn about protecting ocean life
I used this book as a warm up to an ocean life lesson. My students loved the colorful illustrations and the story sparked a thoughtful conversation about ocean conservation. I will use this book every year when introducing this unit in my classroom.

Save the environment friendly
I definitely loved this story! Keeping the ocean clean is definitely a great message that needs light shined on it, so I definitely loved this story. I even enjoyed reading it to my daughter even more. Though she’s young, hopefully she will grow up with a love and respect for nature. Also great illustrations!

Beautiful story
This is an absolutely wonderful story with beautiful illustrations that educates the kids on a very important topic, the environment. A very heartwarming (and hopeful!) ending that makes me believe there is a part 2 coming.

Great reminder of taking care of the ocean
My daughters and I loved the story that helped understand our connection to the ocean and it’s animals. This definitely made us want to lessen our plastic use and pick up litter. The illustrations are beautiful

Great Children’s Book
It helps children see the need to look out for the environment. It raises awareness in a way that it fun and creative and urges the children to take action. It’s a no brainer! It’s worth it!
