The kids LOVE these illustrated stories books and this was no exception. I look forward to reading one story a night with them!
The illustrations are captivating, the stories are interesting & well-written with illustrative descriptive writing. Even stories that are included in the compilation - like the Elves & the Shoemaker - that we have read multiple times before in various books, was interesting because of the variation from the versions we've read before, as well as the beautiful illustrations. I also love how inclusive the pictures are.

Highly recommend to anyone with kiddos in elementary school! My TK and 2nd grader love them.

A good collection of stories though it would have been interesting to read them as part of their original cultural tales.
