The most famous vampire story of all time, in graphic novel format. When Jonathan Harker arrives in Transylvania, he finds himself caught up in a fiendish plot to raise an army of the undead. Can he and his friends stop the plans of the terrifying vampire Count Dracula before it's too late? Bram Stoker's classic gothic novel, retold in comic strip for today's readers.
Russell Punter was born in Bedfordshire, England. From an early age he enjoyed writing and illustrating his own stories. He trained as a graphic designer at art college in West Sussex before entering the world of publishing. He has written over one hundred books for children of all ages, ranging from original stories to adaptations of classic novels.
I like Dracula; I like Bram Stoker. But this is so incredibly boring. You can tell this wasn't something that the writer really wanted to do, which seems to be a common issue with many of the commissioned books put out by Usborne.
super graficznie opowiedziana historia klasyki grozy! zdecydowanie nie zastąpi pełnej formy, ale fajnie sobie uzupełnić

Bram Stoker’s Dracula is one of the finest pieces of literature in any form. This Usborne version is no exception. The artwork reminds me very much of American style anime.
This version condenses the story and keeps the blood and gore to a PG-level. You can easily read this 100 page adaptation in an afternoon. I recommend it if you’re a Dracula fan.
My son was very excited about this book and asked me to read it so I can talk about it with him. It’s great to see him so excited about a book! Recommend for older kids who aren’t too easily frightened and like graphic novels.
A overly bad version of Dracula leaving out much of the story and rushing the ending into boredom. The art work is ok, but not enough to save this book. There are better graphic novels of Dracula, don't waste your time with this one.

You know the drill: A transylvanian lord invites a solicitor whom he has tasked with buying property in England to finalise things. The solicitor is elderly and thus sends his younger colleague for the taxing journey. Upon arrival, Jonathan Harker realises quickly that things are weirder than cultural differences allow for, and events unfold slowly.
Changes were made to fit the whole plot onto roughly 100 pages of comic, parts simply edited out, and still the plot felt too rushed. Mina who is so influential in the original is reduced to the girlfriend of, the one who gets bitten randomly. Lucy's three suitors become one amorphous blob, three clones without any personality.
It reminded me I am excited for the movie Demeter about Dracula's ship voyage to England that is supposed to come out this year. I am very glad this was just a random thing from the library, and I can return it there without any losses.
No cóż, zachęciło mnie do zerknięcia do książki Stokera.
I read the classic years ago. I was curious to see how this children's adaptation into a graphic novel would read. It was okay. Not great. Not terrible. Just okay. The best thing, in my opinion, was the lovely map included in the front of the book.
I think this is a great way to introduce kids to the story of Dracula, but it fails to adequately capture the drama and atmosphere of the book. I'm giving it a three-star rating for me, but I think it may deserve higher marks when considering the target audience.
Great illustrations and vocabulary—I’m a firm believer that graphic novels are fantastic for young readers to help with comprehension, critical thinking, and reading fluency skills. Dracula would be great for those that want something “scary” but not too scary.
I appreciated this book even more so as someone who hasn’t read the original, because I don’t think I’m going to read Broker’s book now…the plot seems a little too dry and anticlimactic in places for my taste.
But again, I recommend this graphic novel for middle grade and YA ages!
One of the best things about this book was that in the beginning of the book there is a map with information on the traveling. It was fun to see this and help drive home on how far and what it take to travel in that time period.
This was a fun break down or retelling of the story of Dracula.
The art was beautiful and at the end there was a fun little history about Vampires and how the story possibly came and the legacy that his has left on the world!
Dracula is not one of my favorite old novels but I do enjoy the story. The novel is just poorly paced in my opinion. I enjoyed how this graphic novel condensed the slow parts of the novel. Also, I enjoyed the art in this novel as well. The plot moved quickly and Dracula was sufficiently scary. I enjoyed the story and how it adapted the novel of Dracula.
Not very good adaption. I know its for kids but they still kill all the same people. Except now their deaths are nothing.
The final confrontation is so rushed instead of an actual battle. They spend too much time in the castle at the beginning, pages that could have gone to other parts of the novel.
Only the second graphic novel I've ever read, and actually makes me wish they existed for all the "classics", for this takes Dracula and makes it instantly accessible. I found the Bram Stoker original long and boring in places, whereas this distills the story down to the essentials and brings it to life. Would definitely read the rest of the books in this Usborne Series.
As a retellings in graphic form thos is not bad and it condenses the story emensely but at the same time I found it also very barebone in certain ways. I find this to be a problem with all the graphic novel adaptions I've read so far. The characters also are lackning some development and feels like they are just there, more so then the original.
Admittedly, I've never read Bram Stoker's Dracula, upon which this is based, but I picked this gem up and read the whole thing in one sitting (or, standing and pacing as the case might have been). Can't wait to show it to my Teens and see what they think!
That it was a good book and it got it me more entertained into reading. Also there were very interesting parts which got me more hooked up with it.Also i would recommend someone to read the book. And that i would read more books like this each day.
I didn’t know the story of Dracula so I bought this book while at Whitby abbey and I didn’t like it at all. I honestly don’t know if it’s the story that I don’t like or the retelling of it but I don’t recommend this version.
It’s just amazing to see your favourite group of characters drawn out in different shades to what you originally thought out. Absolutely love every adaptation of this story and will continue to seek out more!
It was good wasn’t the best graphic novel it was easy to read the plot is good even tho the plot is about the original book I don’t mind it but yh if your looking for a chill read that you want to read in a night I recommend this one
It was pretty good, they could have had more to it and more of Dracula, I have always loved reading about vampires and demands and stuffs this was an enjoyable read.
