Cute.
Typical YA story focusing on social status. It is a modern day Cinderella story with a big size heroine. I do like Miss Stelting putting a heroine who is pround of her body type. It's just I have problem with her judgemental opinion of the rich society.
I do not usually warm easily to YA romance. But again to my surprise, I like Cury Girls Can't Date Billionaires. It is an entertaining read.

This book is for you if… romance of any age range holds a special place in your heart. If the simplicity and predictabiliy of Your Average Romance™ strikes the right cords for you, this is going o be a great series to add to your collection.

I should have known that applying the same digits to a given formula does not equate in a novel reading experience. This felt pretty much like a mock-off of Curvy Girls Can't Date Quaterbacks.
That being said, I think it's very important that we bring more diversity into the literary world, especially books aimed at a younger target audience. I have never and will never be skinny (or even skinny-passing). Puberty hit me quite early on and suddenly I was surrounded and tortured by eating disorders, body-shaming, fatphobia and skinny people - in both the real and the literary world. And that's sad. And a declaration of poverty to the status of this supposedly advanced society. Every decent doctor or scientist out there will tell you how narrow-minded, BMI and weight-focused treatment are for the majority of people.
Although I think the diversity-dilemma is changing (and this dilemma includes racial, sexual, religious and (dis-)ability diversity), I noticed that at least where body-shaming is addressed, this is mostly true for white women? The men still tend to be chiselled, wealthy+ish and manly as fuck in most books.
This is also the case with Kelsie Stelting's The Curvy Girls Club. Although I've only read the first two books, the path of the future couples is already hinted at at least. Chiselled male love interests only. I'd love to see some chubby, "unmanly" men get their lovin' as well.
I'd like to point out one last remarkable thing about romance novels. Reading them makes time fly by in no time. I feel like I can breeze through nothing as quickly as romance novels. I would have loved some more sexy times, though. A lot of people of a certain kind want to ignore or deny the fact that humans are sexual beings and - and I LOVE to break it to you - that includes teenagers. Whether you like it or not. Many teenagers want to have sex. And they enjoy it. Of course, some don't, by choice, and that's absolutely fine. Nonetheless; Let's make it a safe experience for those teenagers that are interested and educate them about sexual health, contraception and - most importantly - consent to give them the sexual, bodily and emotional freedom many of us never experienced.

I positively loved this series! It was so inspirational, and I wish I had read it when I was in middle school or high school. The book has such a positive message for young people who feel as if they aren't good enough or don't fit in. I loved the characters and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I'm recommending it to everyone I know!

Long story short: While the first book in the series was good... this one was bad. The story felt incredibly rushed and forced with no real character development. While I know that it's supposed to be an insta-love type thing, this relationship developed quicker than instant! It honestly felt like the author didn't even try with this story. Maybe she related more to Rory's story than Jordan's, but I wish she would have done the lead characters of this one a favor and put more time into them.

My pet peeves with this book:
1. Jordan's unending tangent & hatred towards rich people: While I am the furthest thing from rich, and was actually raised by a housekeeper, I found her rants to be over the top. And the fact that the author literally had every other page in the first 42% full of rantings was honestly miserable for me as a reader.
2. Kai & Jordan's relationship happened quicker than insta-love, with no logical explanation or reason. For Jordan to be someone who didn't know Kai, hated the rich, and had a "tough" (though not really) personality, she fell for Kai way too easily. And for Kai to be so gung-ho for her after one meeting was a bit much. I would have liked a little more foreplay before they jumped in as a couple or at least a reasonable explanation. Like for Rory & Beck, we knew and understood why everything happened so fast. She was trying to win a bet, had been in love with him since the womb, and he knew her.
3. The fact that Kai pursued her relentlessly, and THEN when she decided to go for it with him, he wants it to be a secret cause of his dad.... I have no words for my exasperation at that moment.
4. How the group breaks up FOR NO REASON!: In the first book, they get pissed cause Rory sat at lunch with her bf for one day... In this book, they get mad cause Jordyn didn't tell them about her relationship with Kai and LEAVE her while Kai's father has spouted slurrs about her. Furthermore, they don't reach out when his dad ruins her mom's reputation and they know she's poor.... I would NEVER be friends again with someone who didn't reach out to me in a time like that because of something dumb like not telling them I was hooking up with a billionare's son. With this moment and the fact that they sat down in the last book and watched Rory get publicly pulverized by cupcakes.... I'm convinced these girls are fake friends and don't really like each other,
5. How Jordan's mom somehow becomes youtube famous & rich in less than 3 hours of uploading her first video due to word of mouth..... make it make sense. It would have been more realistic if it had happened overnight or over a week, but in 3 hours?? Okay.
I really don't know how I could read the next book in the series if it's like this one.

I really really enjoyed this book! It had lots of great views on socioeconomic circumstances that I was happy was represented. As well, it was just a really cute YA romance that I'd be more than happy to read again. This is the second book in The Curvy Girl Club series, but it can be read as a standalone. I think I liked this book more than the first one, although they were both plenty enjoyable.
I liked getting to know Jordan a little bit better in this book. Her home life was a little more complicated and, while the issues of body image were still discussed, this one focused a bit more on perception and economic standing. It was nice to see how Jordan was perceived based on her circumstances, but also how Jordan perceived others based on the same thing. While others were in the wrong many times, Jordan was sometimes too. It was nice to see the author represent a flawed character. It helped me to see that we all have things we need to work on and that we all need to be kind and more open-minded towards everyone.
On a lighter note, I really enjoyed the romance between Kai and Jordan. It was sweet, fairly innocent, and just heartbreaking enough to bring tears to my eyes. It made me dream of falling in love with a man that would whisk me away on a private jet to some amazing city just for a date (Hey, it could happen ;))
Overall, this was another great book in The Curvy Girl Club series. It had heartbreak, hardship, and hope to inspire anyone. I can't wait for book three where we get to learn more about Ginger.

Even thought this took me a few days to read, I loved every moment of it and loved how special this series is to me and now it has had a positive impact in my life.
It has made me realise to love not only myself and my body, but also my image, how I see myself and to not worry about what others see or think of me. Maybe someone out there will see me for who am I and hold me tight.
Just like Kai saw Jordan, saw all her imperfections and saw them as perfect. And Jordan, seeing Kai, the Rick boy who seems arrogant and reserved, when he really is a soft, strong hearted and kind soul underneath it all. I loved seeing their worlds connect, seeing them breakdown their socioeconomic status and actually see each other and want one another for who they each are.
Absolutely fell in love with all the characters and I can’t wait to dive into Ginger’s story.

This was amazing!
I randomly picked up this book since it has just released. The title intrigued me. I haven't read the first book but I was able to enjoy the story.
This is Kai.
He is strong, caring, and the brooding billionaire type. But he's used more as a plot device than anything. Together, with the heroine, they're sweet, adorable, and thoroughly genuine.
I'm giving this 5 stars. Because I fell in love with the heroine. I love seeing the world through her eyes. I love that she is no Mary Sue. She can be judgemental but admits to her own faults. And I very much admire that in a person. Even with some of her flaws, it's very difficult to hate her because. She has a heart of gold, and most of her bitterness comes from her circumstances.
I fell in love with the Curvy Girl's Club. The heroine's relationship with her Mom. Oh and the free breakfasts! Damn wouldn't that be a dream
I love the world the author has built up. Looking forward for more <3

I was excited to read this one after reading the first one, I still liked it, but it definitely wasn't as good as the first one.
The Beginning: I got through the beginning as fast as possible because it was a never ending rant on how much rich people suck and how they are the worst. Yes, there are plenty of rich people who are the worst, but poor people can be pretty awful too. I didn't expect this from a book that tries to show the different sides of people instead of generalizations based on appearances.
Kind of repetitive: I saw the same kind of story play out where the main character gets into a relationship and then sends all of her friends to hell. I don't want to give too many spoilers, but the story line was definitely very similar to the first one.
Cute Love Story: Despite all of the things that I didn't like, I did find it to be a really cute love story. I'm always a sucker for the rich guy falling for the poor girl and fights against all of the odds. I had a lot of fun reading the parts focusing on their relationship.

The problem with the books in this series so far is that they are anti climatic. No angst, no build up, all the guys are nice, they fall in love TOO quickly, then there is ONE problem, the protagonists fall apart, the curvy girls club gets dismantled for a second, and then an extraordinary solution fixes everyone’s problems and they all get back together. The END.
This book was even cheesier than the first one. The lines were so cliche, it was actually cringy. This book was CRINGE.
I didn’t like Jordan in this book, she was insufferable, and judgmental. I liked Kai, but he was sooo cliche.
I hated that Jordan, the latina, was the only student in the school to be dirt poor. And of course, Jordan and her mother were maid, cleaning the floors of the rich. Why do books always portray latinas as poor and servants? Stop with the stereotyping!!! Moreover, this author should really get more help with all the Spanish lines. The Mother, who was a Spanish native speaker, had grammatical errors while speaking Spanish in this book.
I literally felt nothing when reading this book. No emotion whatsoever.

Though I didn’t go to school with “rich” kids I was still the welfare kid, and though I never really cared about that part of the social element. For me it was my size that I got singled out for.
So those elements I completely understand and still do to this day.
I loved that Jordan has a great group of friends that really is what I loved. Friends are awesome and I just wished she had let them in more and not been so self-conscious of her home.
I can’t wait for more of this series to come out in audio I will snag them all up.

I really enjoyed this book. It was cute and I loved the romance between Kai and Jordan. Kai was sweet and charming and I liked his persistence with Jordan. Although she was initially judgmental, it was nice to see Jordan realize her mistake, get to know the real Kai and fall hopelessly in love with him. Their story was so touching that it at times brought tears to my eyes. I also liked that Jordan had such a great group of friends. Overall, I absolutely enjoyed this book!!!

I had actually read Curvy Girls Can't Date Bad Boys and I just loved Kai's character he seemed really sweet and him and Jordan were a cute couple so I had to read this one.
I'm not a big fan of the billionaire tropes or Cinderella retellings but this one was actually really sweet story!
I liked that the characters had depth and were broken human beings.
Kai did seem more in love with Jordan but it was nice from other sweet romances that has the girl head over heels for him first.
I couldn't believe how supportive he was of her and how much he helped her. (I don't want to spoil anything so I won't go into detail but he was a wonderful guy! :D )
Side Note: CAN I DATE KAI, PLEASE!!!!
Jordan's mum was really weird since Jordan and her mum had a great relationship but then her mum said she wouldn't forgive Jordan? It was just strange.
It was nice to hear about Kai's dad's point of view on the whole Cinderella story line. Again I won't be giving any spoilers so you'll just have to read to find out.
Trigger Warning: There is a blood drive and every time they mentioned it I would skip ahead just a little bit but I think Kai almost passed out. I just wanted to let people know since this is a trigger of mine as well but I still enjoyed the book.

Ok so maybe I adjusted my expectations a little bit so this book wasn't as bad as the previous one .. but it wasn't good by any stretch of the imagination.. hence my rating
In this book we will follow Jordan, she is poor and she and her mom work at a cleaning job, from the first chapter we know that they got a job at a wealthy mansion in the city, little did she know that this house is the residence of Kai Rush, the richest guy in school and he is known as a snob and doesn't have any friends .. but the more they interact the more they see each other in a different light
I really didn't care for the first half of the book where Jordan was blaming all her problems and all the world's problems on Kai just because he is rich and she's not ..
GIRL, his father worked freaking hard for this .. don't make any excuses to feel sorry for your self
another thing that really bothered me is the relationship between Jordan and Kai, it made zero sense and there wasn't any chemistry at all
also, these toxic girls who call themselves the Curvy Girls Club are so annoying beyond anything .. I really can't care about them and their toxic ways, what kind of friendship they have if by any wiff of a problem the first thing that happens is they break up ???!! and once the problem gets solved they get back together
the writing style needs A LOT of editing .. damn it looks like it was written by a five years old
all and all the concept of the series is nice and admirable, thats why I will continue with it, and I will still keep expressing my honest opinion about it

Kai is strong, caring and the brooding billionaire. Jordan is strong, fierce and independent. You get Kai and Jordan together, they are a sweet, and genuine couple. Kelsie Stelting does a great job making the male characters showing our leading ladies that they should be worth love and affection no matter their size or social status. I can’t wait to read about Ginger, Zara, and Callie’s stories. Ginger’s story is up next and I’m excited. 4.75 stars.

This felt very much like the first book, which is fine in and of itself, but there was no real change in how the pacing was, the romance, or any other piece that I would have liked to see some changes in. It would have been nice for this to feel a bit different.
I liked the characters in this and how the romance came to be. It was definitely rushed and felt like it happened in the span of a week. It's never quite clear how much time actually passes in these types of books, but I did enjoy the way they went on dates and came out publicly.
However, that's not how YouTube monetization works.
I still think this is a great book, and series, for young women who are dealing with insecurities that come along with being fat in society.

5 stars for Curvy Girls Can’t Date Billionaires by Kelsie Sterling. This is book two in The Curvy Girls Club series. This book is Jordan and Kai’s story. These books are really pulling at my heart strings. They have me shedding some tears that is for sure. Jordan is at Emerson Academy on scholarship. She and her mom are working as maids, the new job is at Kai’s house. Kai is the billionaire at her school. Jordan and Kai are instantly drawn to each other, but they come from different worlds. Jordan and her story broke my heart. She is a strong heroine and I love her. I love how this author really portrays what it is like to be a big girl or even to be different in high school. I wish I would have had a Curvy Girls Club when I was growing up. I can not wait to read more in this series.

We met Jordon in the first book. She helped her friend Rory win the guy of her dreams. Now Jordon is left broken-hearted by her ex-boyfriend and is stuck helping her mother clean the house of the guy she hates the most... Kia Rush.
Dealing with helping her mom clean for a living and having a scholarship to Emerson Academy, Jordon has it tough thinking about those kids with money to spend around her.
I like the story. It shows not to judge a person on their status. Kai and Jordon were cute together. I don't have too much to say about them. This is a cute story to get into.

Just as good as the first book in the series. I’m not usually a fan of YA because of all the teenage angst, but I love the concept of a “curvy girl” getting the guy. The author does a great job making him out to be a love able guy who makes our leading lady feel like she is worth love and affection no matter her size or social status.

This was a really great story that I just couldn’t put down! I love that curvy girls are having their chance at happiness!! And I love that some of these skinny guys are getting the respect that some of them deserve!! Not all skinny men care if ur a size 2!!

This book focuses on the main characters financial status more than her body shape and size. None the less, I enjoyed it as a quick and easy read. I really loved the snippets of info and updates from book 1 characters Beckett and Rory.

This book was really good! I loved the characters and I also loved seeing more of the characters from the last book. The story was great, and deals with things that are probably realistic for some people, even if some things are exaggerated. Overall it was a great read!

This one was a bit of a slog, which is not what I want from my fluff. I couldn't see a good ending coming, and I wasn't terribly satisfied with what I got. More angst than romance.
