Every book I've read from this author has been amazing. This is my fourth, and somehow, each one keeps exceeding my expectations. The way she writes her male leads has me so obsessed. She has such a talent for crafting anti-heroes. strong, commanding, and dominant, but never in an annoying way. The kind of villain who would burn the world to protect the one they love and they’d do it without hesitation. 🥹
This one is probably my favorite so far—a heavy, angsty read that hit me hard. The family drama especially got to me because it hit so close to home. I’m glad it ended the way it did; the side characters got exactly what they deserved. so satisfying. I just wish someone would rewrite the blurb on NU because it doesn’t do this book justice. You’d read it and think it’s just another trashy, smutty romance, but IT’S NOT. It’s a deep, emotional story that explores trauma, guilt, and the unhealthy, obsessive attachment that comes with it. Absolutely beautifully written.
