I loved this! I'm usually not a fan of anthology books, series, etc. but this was a collection of bwwm mafia books which is one of my favorite genres with a lot of authors I love so I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. This was really good, I tried to space out how many stories I read a day so I wouldn't blow through this. This is going to be kind of a long review because I want to give each book and author their flowers.
Santino by Kenya Wright-5 stars
I liked this one a lot. I would love to see a longer story or to check back in with Santino and Kashmere in Paradise City because I know they still have a lot of people to take care of.
Gabriello by Sage Young-3.5-4 stars
I liked the overall premise, I just wished it was a little shorter introducing the main characters so we could've gotten more time with the two of them together and figuring out the mystery.

I liked the twist on this one alot! Rarely am I surprised, but I didn't see some of those twists coming. Only thing I wanted was a concrete HEA, it felt like a HFN or HEA with lots of sacrifices.

Overall the story was good, Alessandro was a good guy and Zahra just wants answers! Story was good and a very sweet HEA but I didn't connect to this story as much as other stories.

Giovanni was gruff but you had to love him and he even though he tried, he knew he was never going to treat Egypt like the other women from his past. I also loved how much his family loved her. I wanted her to have more involvement in Carly's demise even though it would've been out of character. Maybe a follow up story?
Paolo by Tamika Brown-5 stars
This was fun. Paolo didn't play games, he was the savage the DeLuca men are advertised as. Since these are overall shorter stories, everything happened quickly but I still really enjoyed it and wouldn't mind seeing more of this couple.

This was fine. It talks about his mob ties but they didn't play a huge part, you could've taken that out and I don't think the bulk of the story would've changed much.

Loved it! This felt like a complete story. Carmine did not play games! Celeste was likeable as well although I wanted her to be a little tougher since she's been around men like him her whole life. I also thought Emilia would play a role but nope didn't matter. Also there was a hint of a mole on the inside, but I don't think we ever heard about it. (Maybe a sequel? *Hint Hint*)

I liked this story quite a bit. It was cool to see Melody being a badass and stepping up. The biggest issue was the grammatical errors. I wouldn't mind checking back in with this couple though.

I liked it. Both MCs were easy to like. It was just too short, left me wanting more from these two.

I was cheering when we got to see the other side of her. I had a suspicions on the traitor fairly early on. I wouldn't mind more stories or a series following these two and their adventures and their "hopefully" one day family!

This was ok. I felt like we were kind of dropped into the story. I wanted to be more sympathetic to Nicole because of what she went through, but I found myself annoyed with how much she complained when Vito was just trying to protect her from the danger that she kept warning him about. Vito was cool though.

I liked it but it wasn't long enough. I wanted to really see Enzo be a savage and a don, we only saw a little of it. "Eve" was a badass when we saw her other side come out. I just want more of them because I think they still have a lot of story to tell. I know the author mentioned at the end that Stefano has a book coming and there's more to come with these characters, but I wouldn't mind another, longer story or series of stories following Enzo and Eve as the Don and Donna of the family.
Whew that was long! But overall great read and worth the purchase. Check this out!

If you love Crazy Alpha males and they happen to be in the mafia well that is definitely what you will get. Paolo DeLuca was as crazy as they get with his knife plays....but in the same breathe is a man that carries his heart on his sleeve. I loved the fire his character brought to the book including the sub characters Dante' and Gino. No man can withstand when has to protect what is theirs and the lengths they have to go. Bravo Author Tamika Brown... I look forward to more of these smouldering hot mafia men...I think I've set my sights on Dante'

I received a copy of Paolo's story by Tamika Brown and all I can say is WOW!!! I was already a fan of Mrs. Brown's writing, but her contribution to this collection BLEW ME AWAY!!!
I can't wait to meet the rest of the DeLuca men. If they are anything like Paolo...I know I will not be disappointed ;-)

Nero Deluca...
Holy smokes! This is a quick, gritty, darker read with a very alpha Nero and Elle, a smart, determined woman. I loved the story, I was pulled in and on edge from start to finish. There’s a ton of spice, mixed with that no holds barred attitude of Nero’s and it has so much packed in those pages!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Nero DeLuca was the type of dark Prince Charming that I need in my life. After a business deal goes wrong, Nero realizes he needs a bride if he hopes to get his inheritance. After meeting Elle, he wants it to be with her. Immense heat, exciting action and an old fairytale woven in blood made for a very fast paced and enjoyable read. Don’t miss out on this and other exciting tales in this anthology.

Short and sweet. Nicole meets a guy in the grocery store and carries on a conversation with him on a weekly basis when she is shopping. She tries to let him down easily, letting him know she is seeing someone. But he still shows up each week to be able to see her and chat. Vito DeLuca is on the right side of the law. His family has been in the mob for generations, but Vito’s grandfather wanted Vito to be a lawful citizen and carry on the DeLuca name. Vito started a construction business and operating legally. He runs into the grocery store to pick up some paper products for work and meets Nicole. He finds her attractive and there is something about her that he can’t let her go. Vito discovers that the man Nicole is seeing, is abusing her. He takes matters into his own hands.
This was a great story but too short for me. I was just getting into it and the next thing I know… IT’S OVER. I like them HOT and STEAMY. There was just a smidge of that in the story. But I loved the connection between the two characters.

I really loved the story of Nicolo and Brazen, it was sensual and filled with plenty of heat from the very beginning until the end of the story. If the rest of the Savage Bloodline box set is as good as this story, I can honestly say that the authors will have a sure fire winner on their hands!!!

Whew let me tell you Tamika Brown did what she does with this book!!!! Paolo man be the man but Ms. Lyric is where it’s at and they are a pair to be reckoned with!!! This book is excellent from cover to cover and you will not want to put it down!!! I’m ready for the entire series!!!

I received an ARC of Paolo DeLuca by Tamika Brown. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish! Tamika did an amazing job spinning the tale Paolo and Lyric. Paolo was one sexy, possessive Alpha and Lyric was so kind, sweet and caring until you made her mad! She was just what Paolo needed and she tamed her DeLuca! This book was very well written and I couldn’t put it down! I look forward to reading about the other DeLuca’s!!

I admit that dark romance isn't my typical read but I love a good anthology for the chance to get a taste of some new to me author's writing style. I loved the idea of Savage Bloodline...one family and each of their stories told by someone else...
My favorite was Vito DeLuca by Shani Greene-Dowdell. Talk about a whirlwind. It was dangerous, devious and just the right amount of dirty.
I liked that while Nicole was stuck she also pushed to get back to herself. To the woman she was before life and circumstance brought her down.
I loved Vito's brood but also his tender side where Nicole was concerned. How he made her his and pulled out all the stops to protect her.
I feel like this gets said all the time with collection reads, but man...I want so much more of these two! Fingers crossed to see them again.

Paolo had me at the first sentence! And the chemistry between Paolo and Lyric is off the charts!
The uncontrollable urge to be with someone, to never part is strong with these two.
When Lyric's life is in danger, Paolo does everything he can to protect her.
I picked up this book and started reading and did not stop, so make sure you have time to read it in one sitting because you won't be able to put it down.

Vito De Luca's grandfather, the head of the family told Vito he wanted their name spread all across the world, not just in the shadows, but in the open where the De Luca's could be seen as legitimate businessmen. Vito and his buddy Ishmael were doing it. The contracting and building world was being taken by storm. Then he met Nicole in the grocery store. When she informed him that was her normal day and time for shopping he made sure to be there...even though she explicitly said she had a man. Nicole didn't have a man, she had a monster who abused her, alienated her, held her captive, and took everything. Vito could see, even though Nicole tried her best to hide it. He gave her his card and a way out. When she used it after nearly being killed...again, Vito makes good on his promise and Nicole comes under his protection, DeLuca protection and there will be hell to pay for anyone who comes for his woman, yes HIS woman!

Spectacular Series
OMG, OMG!! For the past week I have been lost in the sea of savages and the women that tamed them! When I say that this series was on fire, my mind is still simmering from the volcanic storylines that these dynamic authors shared. There is no extinguisher that can put the fire out on this collection. It is a must read!

I was lucky enough to get to read the Vito DeLuca story by Shani Greene-Dowdell and all I can say is where can I get me a Vito? I love stories about protective men who know how to treat a woman!
The chemistry between Vito and Nicole is sexy as hell. The story is one that makes the reader wish there were more pages but good things come in small packages and for this being a short story it is definitely a good thing!

Love a good Mafia story!
So I got this book for Xavier Neal/Amarie Avant's book, Nero DeLuca, and it did not disappoint!! Nero is smooth and ruthless and his love for Elle is through the roof. Action was full paced and amazing and hints of a certain fairytale are a great homage. Bravo to all these authors and congrats on this amazing anthology!!

I just finished reading Nicolo Deluca's story by l.loren . When I first started reading Nico's story I was intrigued. Nico came off as straightforward and arrogant but when he meets curvaceous Simone Baldwin both of their worlds change. This story is filled with twists and turns and surprises and it is not what you expected. Just when you think you figured it there is another surprise just around the corner. My favorite part out of the whole story is when Nico tells Simone how they met and he was touching and they were meant to be. The sexy times were very steamy and very spicy. L.Loren outdone herself and I loved every minute of it.

Nero Deluca is a force to be reckoned with! He’s a savage in the streets and a freak in the sheets. Elle is a sweet and gets stuck in a situation she wasn’t ready for. This story had me hooked! There was so much drama, desire, devotion, and down right dirty. These two left me begging for more! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series if the Delucas are going to be this good! Fabulous job to the authors!!!!

Some are trying to go legit while others are still entrenched in the savage ways of the family. There is plenty of twist and turns in each story so prepare for a wild ride.
♥️Santino by Kenya Wright. OMG I love this couples💕. Santino and Kashmere are thrust together through an arranged marriage. Kash’s leadership is being second guessed and Santino takes the disrespect personally and a shootout ensues. Their chemistry is hot & sexy🥵🔥🥵. The story is set in a location from other books and so I’m hoping to read more about this couple in future books👍🏽.

Layla is an FBI agent that goes undercover to learn about her cousin’s death. Gabriello helps in the search to find what happened to his employee. He is interested in Layla but by the time he uncovers her truth it’s too late, the attraction is too strong to let her go😍. I liked how they worked together to take down the enemies😊.

This is a review of Nero DeLuca by Amarie Avant & Xavier Neal.
Nero gave Elle a chance to save her stepfamily. All she had to do was pick up the shoe and put it on.
If it fits, they live.
If it doesn’t, they die.
Elle, never one to just obey, keeps challenging the underground Prince Charming.
Nero never wanted to get married, but his family’s inheritance won’t be his unless he does. When Elle’s stepfamily drag her into their mess, Nero couldn’t help but use the situation to his advantage.
Being in a fake marriage might blur some lines when his fake wife is the sexiest fucking thing he has seen in a long time. It doesn’t hurt that Elle keeps fantasizing about him, too.
Nero DeLuca is a mafia romantic suspense featured in the Savage Bloodline Boxset. It’s a retailing of Cinderella with the added spices, humour and badass protagonists. This Cinderella doesn’t need a fairy godmother. Her dark prince will stop at nothing to keep her safe.
I loved Elle. I admire her spirit and how she handled things. She makes a strong protagonist, who knows what she wants, never scared to ask for it. Nero is an arrogant man who wants everyone to obey, and when he is with Elle, he almost sounds like a different man. What surprised me most was how quick Elle came to trust Nero, and just how quick they became loyal to each other. The relationship that started out as fake became so much more.
I loved the parts where they will tease each other. The added humour made this book one of my favourites. And I also loved how Elle was brave to try giving as much as she’d taken. She didn’t shy away from trying to make her relationship with Nero work. I wanted to read as fast as I could to see what will happen after she puts the shoe on. It seemed like a weird proposal to come out of a mafia boss’s mouth; it intrigued me.
The way they wrote this story required you to flip the pages faster. I’d love to see more of their writing. It was captivating and the characters were wonderful. The steamy scenes in this book will make you melt. Nero is a tough guy who’d kneel for no one, but he did so for Elle. Which clarified that he wanted more than just a fake marriage with her. Making these two striking characters seem more real in the way they wrote them in this book.
I’ve read this book twice and I might have gone back to reread a few scenes. 🙈 Even though I felt like a few things were missing in the plot but the story itself more than made up for that. I’d love to read Savage Bloodline and see what other stories I might find there. This book compels you to read the next one, find out if the other character is arrogant, as strong and as loveable as Elle and Nero.

I received an copy of Nero DeLuca story by Amarie Avant and Xavier Neal that's part of Savage Bloodline. Elle is forced to marry Nero because of some bad deals/ decisions her step family made. Nero is scary, viscous and very ruthless when it comes to Elle. Nero and Elle chemistry and his fetish was HOT!! I loved Nero's story!! I'm looking forward to reading Savage Bloodline. I received an ARC for my honest opinion. I recommend you read this book.

Absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I need more books like this
Each De Luca Male was as “savage” as the next. Alpha Men Meet Equally Alpha beautiful strong Black Women. This collection has everything protective men falling for the women that were made for them.
Between these pages we have some brutality and some of the hottest sex scenes written. Then we have the true mystery, who killed the true Don who loved and trained each De Luca male to rule with equal amounts of violence, wisdom, and loyalty to both the family and their women.
Each Story written by a different author was amazing, different types of men, different scenarios, different lives.. but with the same goal live and love as their grandfather.
I can’t express how cohesively each story flowed, the main goal was achieved and so well presented. The authors themselves Sisters in a literary genre who come together and passed the crowns to each other, lifting each other by bonds outside of this book. You can tell there are no egos involved, just the sisterhood coming together to write and amazing story. I can’t wait to read it all again for nuances I missed. The first read was to enjoy, the second, third etc will be to decide which Savage will be my book boyfriend, Lawd there’s just too many to choose from 😉
