Strange fires threaten to destroy the city of Nelar that Jayna alone can’t stop.
After stopping a powerful dark sorcerer, Jayna finds herself a target. Not only does the Sorcerers’ Society think she uses dark magic, the Celebrants of Asymorn want vengeance for her interference. She’d leave the city, Ceran has shown her that something worse is still to come.

Nearly killed by a strange fire even her dark magic could not extinguish, she needs to find those responsible before the city is destroyed—or worse, plunged into war.

Sorcery and Tobral and now bloodstone.
What a great story. Our lady Jayne and Eve make quite the pair of fighter of Black Magic. This time she fought another sorcerer and made them a pile of ashes. I will start the next book right away. I Am reading several books at a time. I try to leave a review. This a must read story!!!!!

Excellent
Things definitely become more complicated as this story unfolds. Deadly fire attacks in parts of the city ment to sew discord take place And Eve regains some of her memory.

The second book was just as great as the first. Love the characters Jayna and eva. Have already pre-ordered book three and Can't wait to read it 😀.
