Well-written, fascinating and shocking.

I don't think I've ever read a true life spy story that captured me quite like this one! I admit that's a subject I've always found interesting but this book is particularly captivating. I had not heard the story of Oleg Gordievsky before, which surprised me, as I do read a lot in this genre. This is truly a 007 type story from beginning to end, including an almost unbelievable escape from The KGB. When I say I couldn't put it down, I mean that literally. I started the book one afternoon and read through until bedtime, I'm, finally made myself go to sleep and picked it up again at 6 the next morning and read until I finished it, I might add, this was over a period of a couple of days off work! If you like real life spy stories, you will absolutely love this 1.
