I live in California with my husband and two daughters. When I'm not putting my imagination down on paper I run my hair salon and photography business. On my off hours I coach both my daughter's soccer teams and referee.
To much going around and around about the same thing. Mostly inner dialog and TELLING us instead of SHOWING. The h was a doormat in my opinion, and the H was a tempermental child.
This is a quick read because the characters and plot is super intriguing. The author did a great job of researching the world it’s built in and will be pleasantly surprised of how much is true the racing world.
This is my first book by this author and it won't be my last. Shift is the first book in The Sign of Love Circle Series. This is the first motocross book I have ever read. I don't know a lot about the sport but I have been on the back of a bike when I was 5 or 6 and it was just around a family friends place (they made a track out the back in the bush).
Cammie Mitchell has landed her dream job which has surprised her. She has taken a job as a medic for what she thinks is a rodeo team but imagine her surprise when she finds out that instead of bull riders it is actually the Sandy Racers motocross team. Kade Maddox is the number one rider in Texas he is arrogant and a womaniser but he knows that.
The author has done a great job at writing a good book. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The only issue I had was I got to the end of the book. I was so not ready for it to end and I want more. I hope we get more Cammie and Kade.
[did not finish] stopped at chapter 6. honestly, the heroine felt like a desperate virgin who have not seen hot man. she attack the hero (by attack i mean kiss), when he asked her to check on his knees as it seems to be giving him problems during his training. and because she was scared that she will lose her job, she apologize to the hero for being unprofessional by kissing him. the hero then replied telling her, he was used to girls throwing themselves at him, BUT the heroine got mad at his reply.
i don't know what kind of reply she was expecting seeing that she did kind of throw herself at the heroine. pff..... i really can't continue this stupidity, sorry but not sorry.
