DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC?

Geologist Jillian Azure wakes from a coma to a life she doesn’t remember, recognize or even want. In fact, the only thing that seems real is the darkly attractive Marc Zander who performs magic and miracles and who claims to have woken her from a death-sleep curse cast on her by an unknown enemy mage determined to stop her from becoming a powerful sorceress and igniting the Red Moon Prophecy because she is the “third key”.

And oh yeah, he’s also the love of her life sent by herself from the future.

This unbelievable time-traveler gives Jillian a rose quartz crystal and instructs her to “follow the bread crumbs”, to find him in her present time. It will be the only way she will discover her true gifts, then join with her two as yet unknown sisters to fulfill the ancient prophecy and steer the world into an age of true peace.

Then Marc disappears into a vortex of smoke to return to his own time, leaving Jillian stunned, confused, and horribly alone to solve this puzzle.

It’s then she discovers her first “bread crumb”—a note from her old college friend who is now a geoscience professor at the University of Colorado in Fort Collins who has invited her to come up and see something she found, “something amazing.”

There Jillian finds her second bread crumb—Marc Zander himself, who doesn’t have a clue as to who she is, even after she walks up and kisses him.

ADDISON CARMICHAEL is a Paranormal Romance junkie. Love is a mystical, magical thing to her, and she loves writing and living vicariously through her endless PNR stories. Whether it be alpha male werewolves, fierce dragons, sexy panthers and other shifters, sizzling hot vampires, or illusive sorcerers who will magically make your dreams come true, her imagination is bubbling up several stories after another.

As a literature major, Addison also enjoys weaving classic themes into her books, yet keeping the fun and folklore true to each story and character. While paying strict attention to the tropes of each myth, she also finds unique ways to create new ones in order to make each story as fresh, realistic and plausible as possible.

Addison was born and raised in Southern California and has lived and traveled all over the west coast (and the world). She married the man of her dreams and has two awesome sons, two daughters-of-her-heart, and three grandchildren who are the jewels in her personal crown.

She now lives happily-ever-after with her family (which includes Mollie, her black lab-border collie) in Snohomish, Washington of the U.S. Pacific Northwest.

I loved every couple in this series, but I must confess that these two were my very favorites. It was the first opportunity to write a PNR with sorcerers & mages, and with a time traveling twist to it all, and I had the best time! I hope you do, too.

Crystal Moon
“When the Red Moon aligns with the Sun, and Mars draws his fiery sword. Then Venus will join with Jupiter, and three stars will steer the Earth.” ~ Red Moon Prophecy.
This prophecy, the meeting of Brenna and Laith and the search for the Firestone starts this amazing involved journey. This is fourth and final book in the series.
Jillian Azure wakes up in a hospital room. She recalls her name but not how she got there. She has a fiancé that she does not like and cannot remember. She was in a coma for seven weeks from a car accident.
She remembers a man voice telling her to fight to come back to him. His voice helped her to come out of her coma, but who is he? She has a glimpse of a tall man with dark hair and green eyes who made her lavender roses come back to life. He appears one more time to Jillian tells her his name and gives her a quartz crystal. He tells her to go to the University and “Follow the bread crumbs” and find me.
Jillian reaches out to her friend Dr. Helene Hornsby, Geoscience, at Colorado State University. She sets up a meeting with Helene to talk about the latest “Dig”. On her way she bumps into Marc at a coffee shop. He does not recognize her. She walks up to him and kisses him!
Jillian and Marc must find a way to teach Jillian magic. She finds out that she is a mage born and is part of a set of triplets. Her parents are not who she thinks they are. Someone tried to kill her. It is all wrapped up in the Red Moon Prophecy. This was an action-packed book; you simply cannot put it down. I loved each book and the world-building and characters are amazing. You need to start at the beginning this is one series you do not want to miss. No spoilers here but the story comes full-circle! I loved it!

This riveting paranormal romance has a time travel undertone & is really an excellent addition to the “Red Moon Prophecy” series. I found this book so fascinating to read that I could not put it down until the last page was turned. The plot has good world building & is very suspenseful with some unexpected situations/events that are well-described. The characters are complex individuals with strong-willed personalities & portray realistic feeling according to the current situation they find themselves in. There secondary characters offer excellent support.
It is about: a female geologist (Jillian) wakes up from a coma to a life she does not want & battles to find the love of her life & an unknown family.
There is: a unappealing fiancé (Doug Hayden), a attractive stranger (Marc Zander), a caring friend & geosciences professor (Dr. Helene Hornsby), vampires, fae, humans, twists & turns, adventure, action, drama, intrigue, adventure, suspense, secrets, mystery, dreams/premonition, good & evil mages/sorcerers, magic, friendship, devious plans, conflict, violence, confusion, unpleasant surprises, manipulations, suspicions, distrust, disagreements, attractions, confrontations, discovery, complications, determination, sad memories, family issues, deception, heartache, compromises, love & a well-deserved, satisfying epilogue. I enjoyed reading this paranormal romance & would recommend it.

This is the last book in the series, Red Moon Prophecy. The story comes full circle from the first book through the last. The books all end in an HFN, but the real HEA comes at the end of Crystal Moon.

The book is extremely interesting. Not only is it an easy read, it also has a pace to it that doesn't bore the reader. The balance between narrative and dialogue is handled well, and the reader is always part of the story. The story is written from Jillian's point of view (our heroine), and I chuckled at her more than once while reading.

Addison writes a very good book. Her writing is clear and concise and doesn't meander, she is talking to the reader as she's telling the story, and I know I, as a reader, felt I was there in the room when all of them, especially at the end.

No spoilers here, though. If you've read the first books, then you need to read this to have the ultimate closure. And if you haven't read the others, why not?

Jillian is in an accident that almost takes her life and puts her into an 8 week coma. When she awakens she has no memory of any of her life Pryor to the accident.
Engaged to a stranger and meeting neighbors she doesn’t remember, they try to help piece her life back together.

See a handsome strange when she first wakes up, she believes she was just imagining him but then he shows up two more times. What is going on?

Needing to get away she follows a lead she finds in her home and takes a leave to find herself and who is is/was. What she finds has her even more confused and asking even more questions.

ALL IN NOT WHAT IT SEEMS, and she finds out what is truth and what is a lie. And realizes she is in real danger that only her true family and friends can save her from.

I love this addition to the series.

The Prologue alone will have the reader hooked and drawn into this amazing story! A car accident quickly puts Jillian Azure in a coma in the hospital, waking with no memories beyond her own name. Marc becomes an important piece of her life as she finds she is a mage and he gives her a crystal to “find” him again as he time travels out of her reach.

The rest of her story is like a puzzle with many pieces that need to be put together to explain her life and her real identity. When all the pieces come together, you will have completed the amazing journey the author puts you on, so take a big sigh and wait for the next opportunity to grab one of this wonderful author’s books!

I really enjoyed this series. It was unique and I loved the mystery of it. This was my favorite couple. I also loved the time travel aspect which I usually don't like in books but this was just enough. That ending alone was worth reading this book for. I loved it.

I absolutely loved this series by Addison Carmichael.

The way the stories wove together, the intrigue of vampire and wolf relationships...And of course the underlying trauma of lost love.

There were surprises, unexpected opportunities, and so much magic.

I am sad that this series has ended, but excited to know there is more coming.

Jillian found that she was a mage by accident and Marc was training her. Jillian found that she is a triplet and they had to stop a dark mage taking over the world. Jillian got her family together and talking with each other. I didn’t think that the dark mage was who you have but if a person thinks about it makes sense especially with what had happened to her. Very action packed and a great book!

This book brings all the other books together. They reunite and what an ending, one part had a sad chapter. I would have never had guessed he wasn’t the bad guy. Wonderful story and thrilling read

I really wanted to like this series but again, a girl declares her love for a guy like two weeks even when they seemingly don’t like each other much prior. And then she’s all the sudden super powerful and can do all this magic yet we only see her train to the first level (maybe)? She ends up fighting against mages much more powerful and well-trained than her but that’s ok, because she can kick their asses still somehow. You might think her powers unlock and so does her ability (which it seemed like initially) but then she’s like, “nah, gotta conserve my energy especially since I’m so new at this.” The fey army that is gone as quickly as they came (super anti-climatic) and them joking about going into a dark room in the castle. Like no shit, think about it before just going in guns blazing. Rhiona can port into what was mage protected (hence the hidden tunnel) and yet the girls couldn’t? There were just gaps throughout where it felt like there could’ve been better continuity. Things just perpetually didn’t make sense… Don’t even get me started on Max trying to explain the time travel thing that made absolutely zero sense, which the author actually wrote in there (like Max admitting he doesn’t understand or get some of it)! Lots of face palming moments like that.

Also, there were definitely some small editing errors (like the wrong versions of words) throughout not just this book, but all the previous ones as well. I was trying so hard to just finish the last 20% of the book or so; I just wanted to be done. When I got to the final twist, the discovery of the dark mage, nope nope nope. It was a surprise but I didn’t buy it for a second. I almost stopped again with like 4% to go because it was just painful. And it totally sucks because I really do think the series/stories had potential and the writing is almost there but the holes and inconsistencies just ruin it.

Jillian had been in a coma but then comes awake and everything around her is strange to her. marc tells her he is the one who woke her and why. Can you imagine the puzzled look? He also is who she loves too, what a wowzer. Thus we see what unfolds with it being a tale we can not let go of. Puzzles is what needs to be put together with us turning the pages to see how they fit.

Crystal Moon

The last of four books a love once lost but returned.
Differently a great romantic mystery. Not quite knowing what is going to happen or how it’s going to end!
