Ramona Finn writes about courageous characters who fight to live in broken, dystopian worlds. She grew up sitting cross-legged on her town's library floor - completely engrossed in science fiction books. It was always the futuristic world or the universe-on-the-brink-of-extinction plot lines that drew her in, but it was the brave characters who chose to fight back that kept her turning the pages.

Her books create deep, intricate worlds with bold characters determined to fight for their survival in their dystopian worlds - with a little help from their friends. And, of course, romance is never out of the question...

Like young-adult dystopian books? Then you're going to love Ramona Finn's "The Glitch" -- set in a futuristic world where an Artificial Intelligence rules, Lib wakes up in a barren land with one thought lodged in her mind: "Find the Glitches".

While I really enjoyed book one and two, this one seemed to have almost a completely different plot. It was suddenly easier to get in and out of a secure facility. There was a love triangle that didn't need to exist, Ben would never truly accept her and they pretty much ended things in book 2. The solutions to the problems that came up seemed far fetched and not at all thought through.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

“The Skyseekers” is the third instalment in “The Echelon Series” by Ramona Finn, a most interesting dystopian/sci-fi series, set in a destitute future, in which due to toxic waste, humanity has relegated to live in ‘the Dome’ under an artificial sky that protect humans from the deadly environment and the mutants ravaging the lands. Live inside the Dome is separate by class, with a huge social gap between the Sky and the Dirt, the former the rich elite that hold all the power, while the later barely are able to survive. The Decemites, children who have been deliberate selected, trained and injected with nanobots which made them impervious to the toxic climate outside, exist somewhere in between. Most of them don’t even survive the procedure.

Myla has already discovered that the ‘official truth’ on the Wasterland outside the Dome is everything but the real truth. Her journey outside the Dome to rescue her foster sister has shown her the reality of the outside lands. Lady Lazrad propaganda has been exposed, and Myla joins the rebellion to and the status-quo with her most faithful allies: Ben the boy from the Wasterlands, and Lock the Decemite that left the Dome at her side. Together the three stands against Lazrad and her dictatorial rule. While Myla is torn between her feelings for both boys, that’s an issue she would have to put that aside until she succeeds in exposing Lazrad’s scheme to destroy anyone in her way, and remove her from office by any means necessary.

The story is very well-written, fast-paced, action-packed with a good balance between action/adventure elements and world-building description. The world of Echelon is hard, dangerous, captivating, and credible, and encourages to reflect on events and social structures while providing at the same time a satisfying reading from cover to backcover.

I am so sad that this series is over!!! I really loved it and couldn't stop reading until I finished this book! This was an excellent conclusion to the series!

I feel like this book had a lot of character growth and I loved watching Myla acknowledge her feelings for Lock more. Overall, this series had little romance and was very action packed. However, there was finally more progression with her realizing her feelings, when faced with the thought of losing Lock. I also loved that Myla is so human. She made some really dumb mistakes sometimes and was a bit hotheaded, but I loved that this book had an actually flawed character, not a pseudo-flawed character that is actually perfect.

Also admirable was the relationship Myla has with her sister, Ona, and her devotion to always be there, no matter what. I have to be honest; I didn't like Ona at all. I thought she was pretty terrible and don't think her actions were ever justified. Yet, Myla never gave up on her. Even when most would consider her lost. It was beautiful that she valued her family, above all else, and was willing to do whatever she needed to save them.

Most books in this genre have a love triangle, however, even though Myla was sort of faced with one at the end of the second book, I like that as soon as Ben said that he still felt the same, she acknowledged that things weren't the same for her. Her and Lock hadn't even kissed, but she still admitted that there was something to Ben. To me, that indicated that she really did respect him and his feelings. So even though his feelings did not just go away in this book, she was honest and did her best not to drag him along, which is more than I can say for a lot of protagonists.

We were introduced to multiple new characters in this book and gained more insights about the ones we already knew. Fabulous book and conclusion!

An enjoyable read by Ms.Finn, where Myla will need to make difficult choices and battles within herself. Time is running out for the rebels to stop Lazard's plans from unfolding. However, the rebels have their own agenda and Myla has no desire to go along with more death. She feels tremendous guilt and does not want to become a monster. She wants to save her sister and all the Decemites, who have an unfortunate future awaiting them, as well as the Lofties. Lock agrees with Myla, that the loss of life will not bring people to the rebels side, for it could turn against them. Myla discovers that there a secret that has been kept under wraps for a long time, one that could change the tide of the war. But Lazard is always steps ahead and Myla will have to outsmart her if she wants to succeed. But Lazard has played the game for a long time and Myla may have to become a monster to stop her.

Echelon is the only place that human’s can survive. But, once outside Myla learns this is not true. With Ben, Lock and Decemite by her side, Myla becomes the new leader.

I probably needed to read the previous 2 books to really understand what was going on, and I think a lot of the book was lost on me because I didn’t have that back story.

The writing was good, and I’m interested in the store so I’ll go borrow The Decemites, the first book in the series.

Thank you #netgalley for the complimentary copy of #TheSkyseekers in exchange for an honest review.

Another great ending to another great trilogy by Ramona Finn. I love dystopian novels and I think all of hers use different elements to create a fantastic story. I liked Myla in this story. She learned a lot about herself, what she truly wanted, and what she was willing to do to help the ones she loves. I think it was a fine conclusion to this story. I can't wait to read another series this author.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

“The Skyseekers” is the third book in “The Echelon Series”, which is another interesting dystopian series where toxic waste has virtually destroyed the planet and people are relegated to live in ‘the Dome’ for security. Myla joins the rebellion as she and her friends three take a stand against the dictator Lazrad. The story is well-written, fast-paced, with lots of action. Great story.

I really enjoyed this series. This last book shows you the continued struggles for Myla to try to find an answer to protect her family and her friends. It leaves you with a clear vision of what Myla and the rebels will have to do in order to defeat Lady Lazrad and remove her from power. Well written story with a great conclusion. This book ended the series perfectly. Myla's continued struggle to find a solution to save her family and protect her friends outside the dome was very well written. The end of the book left the story feeling complete, there weren't any loose ends to leave you wondering. Overall, a great series and I can't wait for the author's next series.

Dystopian world with hope.

I loved the conclusion to this trilogy but there were definitely a few unexpected turns along the way. I had hoped for a different ending for Lock, Ben and Myla but everything changes when the rebellion against Lady Lazrad and her way of life surges ahead full throttle.

Folks, this is why you should check the book before request for the ARC. I accidentally requested for this without knowing this is actually a series.

I don't understand what's going on, but I still read it anyway. The author's writing is what make me stay. But anyway it's still a decent read.

IF YOU LOVE DYSTOPIAN STORIES READ THIS SERIES PLS!!!

**Got the ARC with exchange of review! (thanks to NetGalley)
