I just finished this book, and it was an emotional and gripping continuation of Astra’s journey. The story explores themes of trust, guilt, and identity as Astra struggles with difficult choices and the weight of newly uncovered truths. I loved the tension within the group and the looming threat of winter, which added urgency to their mission. Astra’s internal conflict was especially compelling and well-written. The pacing was steady, with strong character development throughout. Overall, it’s a thoughtful and engaging read that deepens the series’ world and stakes, leaving me eager to see what happens next.

Outstanding

Full of action and emotional conflict. Astra wants change for the clan. Outgoing leaders resist, still believing lies are better.
