Rate this book
What does it mean to be a Catholic woman?

A Place to Belong: Letters from Catholic Women is a stunning anthology of deeply personal letters, wisdom from women saints, inspiring quotes, reflection questions, art, photography, and prayers that explores what it means to be a woman of faith today. Twenty-five women from various backgrounds, interests, and states in life—including mothers, religious sisters, entrepreneurs, artists, activists, and authors—explore the many ways women live out their unique attentiveness to the human person in the family, in the Church, and in the world. As you read, you will be inspired to reflect on how God is calling you to live your femininity along your own unique life path as you find—and provide for others—a place to belong.

This is a lovely book. It would make a welcome gift to a younger woman seeking a 'place to belong' in the Catholic Church. It is an anthology comprised of personal letters from twenty-five Catholic women from all sorts of backgrounds, interests, and states in life. The letters are organized thematically (receive, create, protect, lead, nurture), affording the reader examples of the feminine ethos lived out in Catholic women's lives.

Looking for a powerful, inspiring, uplifting book? A Place to Belong is a beautiful anthology containing letters by women from different backgrounds and stages in life. These personal stories cultivate a sense of belonging in the church and celebrate the unique identities and gifts we have been given. These letters reminded me that I’m not alone in my struggles and inspired me to live out the calling God has on my life. Woven throughout the whole book is a display of God’s faithfulness and goodness in the varying trials women face. Corynne-you’re a visionary and this book is truly a gift to womanhood.

Beautifully put together. Letters of great inspiration, wonderful encouragement, and thought provoking titles that make a Catholic woman question ones self. Such as "Am I truly following and trusting my Heavenly Father?" and "Am I truly embracing my true femininity and womanhood as God intended? If so are there ways I can improve it even better?"

I recommend this for any woman who is seeking understanding and examples from other Catholic woman to what we are called to be as Catholic women of God.
