Time doesn’t heal all wounds . . . At 19 years old, Trace Gryffon, has suffered irreparable damage. Hardened by unresolved trauma caused by greed and disloyalty, Trace decided long ago he can’t get hurt if he doesn’t let anybody in. That goes for everybody- including his family. Trace was in hell, but he wasn’t the only one suffering. His older brother, Tyus Gryffon, faced some deep rooted issues of his own. ... an unexpected meeting occurs when Messiah fears for a strangers life and takes a chance on saving it along with her roommate Luvly. Four different paths, all fighting an addiction- the need to feel real love. After being hurt and tending to old wounds that never got a chance to heal, will love be the antidote for the pain?
Omg this was so good. Trace was just so mysterious and his story held my attention from beginning to end I was anxious to know what happened to him that made him the way that he was.
Messiah and Trace were exactly what the other needed. They were both broken to what they thought was beyond repair. Neither one was looking for love until Messiah’s good deed threw them into each other’s world. A bond was built and love prevailed.
I like Tyus and Luvly together they’re good for each other. Luvly’s grandma got on my last nerve. I was so happy when she finally let her and her mom have it because Victoria needs to woman tf up and stop letting Elizabeth dictate her life she too damn grown for that.
I’m so glad this was not a standalone and so ready to dive into part 2. I would like to see Big Gryf released form prison and I wanna know what the hell happened to Jena.
Really really great read you will not be disappointed!!
Great book. Trace was a mystery, but I honestly thought there’d be more depth to his trauma. I enjoyed both couples, and the story itself was pretty long for a romance. Book 2 is 276 pages, which I will not be reading, mainly because I’m just gonna go ahead and assume both couples lived happily ever after. I’m not reading another 276 pages for that.
Overall, I really did enjoy this book, but it should’ve just been one. She could’ve found out about Cane in book 1. I started book 2 and it was already dragging.
She definitely knows how to pull people in. This storyline had me on the edge of my chair the way she keeps you guessing and wondering! I don’t know what brother I love more! I really think I’m leaning towards Trace! Its just something about him. I don’t like Siah dad or Luvlly grandmother! Her mother needs to get a backbone! I can’t wait to see how everything plays out! Outstanding
It’s the foreshadowing for me. I loved Trace and Messiah’s relationship. But knowing what I know about the Cane situation was always in the back of my mind. I love them together so I hope they can work it out. Tyus and Luvly were great together also. I love how two roommates ended up with 2 brothers. I hope the author doesn’t break my heart in the conclusion.
Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. It was well written and I couldn't put it down. I really liked the friendship between Siah and Luvly and they both had parent issues. That's one of their connections. I can't stand Site's dad and Luvly grandmother. The brothers, I like them both, but its something about Trace. After that ending, I can't wait to see how everything unfolds. Good job Kaylyn.
I loved it! I loved the Friendship between Luvly and Messiah. I loved that neither Ty or Trace backed down when it came to defending those they love. Messiah is gonna have a rough time when her secrets as well as Trace’s come out. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Great Job
Your books never disappoint! Your characters are unique and relatable Your story lines are never duplicate A new release from you is Christmas, unicorns, rainbows, and puppies A new release from you have me on the edge, crying, laughing, and smiling You are truly gifted when your readers feel all of these emotions Thank you
Trace and Messiah will be fine as long as she doesn't find out he had a say in Cane being murdered. Tyus going to make sure that Luvely is well taken care of regardless of what her grandmother won't do. Can't wait to see part two throws their way because things are going too good for them all.
I really enjoyed reading this book I can’t wait for part 2. Those brothers been through a lot though especially Trace. I hope that Messiah never finds out that Trace had Cane killed though. I knew that she was going to be pregnant but not that soon though. I loved both couples though.
How is this going to play out???? Messiah is in love with the man that took her 1st love🤦🏾♀️. Trace is a shell of himself traumatized my his past💔. Ty is haunted by the unknown & Yummy is just trying to find herself😩. What’s going to happen next?? OMG!
Overall really good storyline, lots of moving pcs but I loved how they all had their own internal and family struggles. Kind of nervous to see how everything unfolds especially with Trace and Messiah. There were a lot of errors and that can affect the way a reader enjoys a great book.
Great book these girls had some fucked up family but two gotta be off the chain as this one was why you do messiah like that she was suppose to get her dream then deal with making a family can’t wait to see how this continues
Kaylyn another hit as always. Man I felt so bad for Ty and Trace. Where is Jena? Can these couples weather the storm thats about to take place? Janel is a bit much and I'm not a fan of hers. Lol I just need part 2 that's it that's all . A great story for sure.
Part 2 please!! I love Trace crazy ass. I need Big Gryf to get out some kinda way. This is a story of loving someone they way they need to be loved instead of how you want to! Great read.
It took me a minute to get into this book, but once i did I couldn’t put it down. Trace is the bomb, and Tyus isn’t to far behind. Janel got on my last nerves. And I’m glad Luvly finally stood up to her grandma.
Love this series Trace is very deep and mature for his age I truly think his experience has helped develop his sense of maintaining and doing what's right. Thus love him to....I don't believe Jena is dead for real. Can't wait to see how this continues.
Such a well written story with four compelling and complicated characters trying to figure out their ish. Family, love, the future, partying and bullsh** was hooked from the first to the last word! Can’t wait to dive into book 2!!
I gave the book 4 stars because I really like the characters. Trace is my favorite. The story is slow (for me) but I started it so I have to finish to see if my boy get his happy ending.
As the title said, I’m all in! These couples truly have me reliving my college life with the parties and friends who can’t hang lol!! I’m too geeked to see where the couples go next in part 2!!!
Trace is going to be a great father I think! I like all the couples! I hope that Janel doesn't blow up when she finds out about the baby! I wanted Messiah to win at the Olympics!!! This is a great series so far!!!
I can't wait to see what part 2 holds for these couples because I can just see things are about to get rocky for all 4 of them. I just hope Trace and Messiah be okay.
