At only twenty years old, Grace Miller has a very successful business selling her organic vegetables. Even so, she wonders sometimes why she has not found someone suitable for courtship. Although she is friends with many of the men in her village, her feelings for them have never been romantic. Instead, they all seem to think of her in a sisterly way. In fact, until meeting Peter Bieler, she rarely thought about the village men at all. However, Peter is on her mind for a different—and very unromantic—reason. He is from a different community that allows machinery and chemical fertilizers, and his farm has begun to compete with hers within the village. Still, when Grace learns of a tragedy in his past, she decides to behave more charitably towards him. But when Peter is injured in an accident on his farm, Grace feels any chance of a friendship falling away—especially since Peter believes her family was involved! But Gott has a plan for us all, and sometimes he brings us love in the most unexpected packages.

Grace and Peter

Grace has been supplying vegetables to almost all of the area businesses for so long she just can't imagine someone else doing so also, but she has proof in Peter Beiler bringing his vegetables into the same business as she. Then, running into him on several more occasions in the same day. Is he trying to take away her customers? Is there really a need for them both to bring produce to them? Or is there something else going on? You will need to read this great story by Ruth Bawell to find out.

Assumptions can get you in trouble!

Two young people assuming the negative about each other only to find a flaw in each of their thinking. A nice story with some hidden truths which of course caused everything to turn out right. A pleasant read I’m sure you will enjoy as much as I did.

The Produce Wars

Grace though that she had a good market for her produce when she began to see Peter selling to her customers also. She suspected that he was selling produce that had been fertilized with chemicals and produced with equipment that the Amish don't use. Let the wars begin.

Interesting

Talk about starting off on the wrong foot. Patience, tolerance, and forgiveness are not always easy to give even for the Amish.

Another great story.

I loved Peter and Grace's story. Fate brings people together. All we need is faith and trust in God. I recommend this series to everyone.
