A rare Omega male, he's lost everything to the king of the beyond. To Giaus, that hated feral mutant, infected with the Trax virus. A colossus who stole everything that might have saved their ragged pack. Their sweet and wild Renegade, the queen Sickle would have died to defend was now utterly corrupted by her mate.
Ruined.
Untouchable.
Sickle had watched them all fall to the king who shouldn't be. His brothers lost where he could not follow without accepting certain death.
So he'd fled, but not before setting a horde of the hopeless lost on his former brothers. A walking plague to grant them a merciful death when he'd been too weak to do so himself. Too... Omega to grant a peaceful end to the queen he might have loved.
Heart sick, tattooed cheeks wet with tears, Sickle is alone. For the first time, his life is in his own hands.
And the price?
Everything.
But to one of his kind? Born to endure, created to serve, everything means nothing at all when suffering has been the only true companion he's ever known.
Sickle will rise from the shadows. Transformed. Flanked by dragons.
But he is not the only one who will know what it is to change...
USA Today Bestselling Author of The Last Tritan, Atom and Evil, The Feral Court, and many more to come!
Raised by her awesome parents in Canada's snowy north, Myra learned perseverance from an early age. She learned to speak in third person via extensive reading as a child, because... well... Northern Canada gets a LOT of snow. And when one isn't snowboarding, building quinzees, or waking up to teddy bears frozen to the floor (true story), one tends to read about places that are warm--even if being cold is preferable to being hot, every-damn-time.
All that reading gave Myra the gypsy bug. So, after college, (where she majored in professional gypsying) she moved to a ski resort in British Colombia to be a ski bum and chase the winter, because the cold was in her bones and it never bothered her anyway.
But then life caught up with her, as it does, and now she's stuffed full of enough life experience to write until transcendence (where she will be first in line to get a sweet android body and travel the universe until the end of time). So that's what she does when she's not listening to the voices or taking apart the electronics just to see their insides.
Cool right? Come be my friend on Goodreads, and have a free book for your troubles!! It's called Swallowed by Darkness, and it got me my USA Today Bestselling rank, baybee. Enjoy!!!
Sickle gave me what i was missing, and more, even if it took a while to get there. With Renegade,Giaus and Sinadim tossed in that pit together, things turned darker. With Balkazar almost claimed by the Horde that followed a creature beyond imagination, but not entirely. With Sickle in trouble, not only having been infected by Balkazar, but also cornered by a litter of orphaned lava kin determined to make him their next meal. All of that made me wonder if there would ever be any chance of a happy after…..
After Renegade claimed Giaus and Sin,the jealousy between them burned. Both wanted to be the only one to have her at their feet. Giaus may have been patient in his approach, and he may have accepted her claim she was his queen. But if he was to be her king,he knew what he wanted her role to be….. Sin simply wanted Renegade to kneel at his feet, and give him a constant flow of offspring. Her claim she was his queen, and he her general would only work if she obeyed him,and not the other way around. Withholding information about her kind that was important from her. Both Alpha’s didn’t consider the fact that she could sense their intentions, their feelings, and that’s where they both went wrong.
In the meantime,Balkazar was almost lost, but the infection that destroyed his brain didn’t destroy his love and loyalty to Sin,his prince. Returning to warn him about the danger that was coming nearly proved fatal, but he managed to lure the Horde following him away, just in time.
Sickle may have been infected by Balkazar, and he may have thought Renegade and Sin were dead, but he was still standing. But he wasn’t sure how much longer he would be,with that orphaned litter of lava kin determined to kill him. Until he,against all odds, managed to subdue the female, the one in charge,Sultana. Life was a lot better after that……until he saw a ghost. One that came back to claim her missing piece, her shadow…. The only one that could understand, and give her what she needed. It suddenly seemed fitting that he called himself Shade these days.
Sickle gave me what i needed,Renegade FINALLY got the respect she deserved! It made me angry when i saw how Giaus and Sin treated her, never thinking of what she wanted, only thinking of what she could do for them. I was proud of how strong became, how carefully she planned everything, and went for what she wanted and needed. I couldn’t help, but laugh at how easily she fooled them. And i loved how she convinced Shade to join her Feral Court. And even though their story obviously isn’t done,i like where they are now.
I’m used to reading books with one or two perspectives, but this actually works. It’s not confusing at all and the range of perspectives enhances the story and paints a more vivid picture. The storyline is solid and there are no plot holes or threads. Everything is wrapped up so neatly and no stone is left unturned. I’ve really enjoyed watching these characters grow over the past three books, Renegade the most of course. I love a strong heroine and I especially love an underdog coming into their own power. I’m in awe of the storytelling and world building, and this universe has only gotten more interesting. There’s so much pain and darkness in the world they left behind and the new world they’ve laid claim to, but there’s a sliver of light and of hope. This book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, for which I am grateful. But there’s a promise of so much more. I was eagerly waiting for this book to come out, and it’s surpassed my wildest expectations. It’s truly a work of art and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
It keeps getting better. I likes all the book and personaly, Sickle was One if the chatecters that most called to me. He looks so fragile and incapable but wow the changes we ser on him are huge. All of them evolve as themselves and as a unit and its so good. Can't wait to see the rest!
There is much to wax lyrical over great writing. I could use elaborate metaphors but it takes away from plain and simple facts- Myra Danvers is an amazing wordsmith.
Why is this so? Clever well paced plot that hooks you quickly- whilst the building tension keeps the reader on tender hooks. Characters that you can devour- yes take a big ol’ bite and chew away at them. They are richly diverse, exotic, cunning, seductive and I’m addicted to them- they inhabit my imagination long after the story has finished.
Last but definitely not least - the world building- this is where the author shows her true genius, yes prepare to experience weird and wonderful darkly addictive worlds. Layers of light and shade with splashes of bold streak through the writing- it’s captivating stuff.
If you haven’t read this author’s work it is HIGHLY recommended. Sickle is one of my favourite characters in this series and I’m thrilled to see this character come into his own. To enjoy the full benefit of the Feral Court series start with Renegade - her character arc will run the gamut of your emotions. With war brewing will our heroine achieve the Queendom of her heart? I cannot wait for the next book.
5/5 stars
ARC provided- thoughts and opinions are completely my own
Oh my….we’ve waited for our precious Sickle to be released mostly patiently (just a little nail biting and crazed thoughts of what was happening with Renegade and her men) and the wait was definitely worth it! This book definitely brought the new world that the Feral Court will rule into focus while also bringing us so much closer to the actual characters. Sickle is an absolute boss who tamed the wilds on his own but he will be so much better with Renegade by his side.
I know our very own Queen of Chaos worried that because of feeling rushed to release this final book of the Feral Court that she hadn’t done the characters justice but her worries were definitely unfounded. She was absolutely amazing as always and gave us a book that was worth waiting on no matter how long it was. So for now as Renegade can rest for a while with her court complete so I hope can the mind where the court lives on.
Hopefully this isn’t the last we hear of Renegade, Giaus, Sinadim, and Sickle but I’m happy where we left them so it’s okay if it is.
I can’t wait to see what Myras next project is but for now I hope she’s sleeping late, chasing her now mobile precious mini chaos princess, and taking the break she deserves.
Myra Danvers’ Sickle is an absolute delight. I was instantly enthralled (heh) by the transformation of Renegade (and the others) as a result of the Trax. But even better…Sickle (1.0 and 2.0) is AMAZING. And Renegade is just a pixie-sized, diabolical whirlwind that had me cackling. This Omegaverse that Ms. Danvers has created is visually enticing and poetic in her imagery through language. And I love how much the characters can’t stand each other but are forced to work together—partly due to DNA/hormones/breeding. And of course, it wouldn’t be an omegaverse without all the breeding, coupling/throupling, messy, slippery slick that permeates their senses and turns even the most rational characters into greedy addicts. Because, let’s be real here. Slick is intoxicating and so is this series.
The new Trax King and Queen have arisen The old court is about to find itself overturned - in more ways than one
I want to start with how much I enjoyed Sickle He was just a lowly omega, a toy, worthless in the eyes of the old court something that was easily disposed of Oh you foolish beasts
There is just so much to say about this release Packed with Action, Angst, twists, and reveals as well as some serious "What the ever-loving hades?" and "OMG NO" moments And let us knot forget the A/o bonds (I could not resist) So many characters, both new and old, that will burrow under your skin I found myself cheering some of them on, others I wished a firey end, At times even found myself shedding those silent tears
I am a big fan of Myra's writing and this book is no exception. Our Omega, Renegade, claims her last mate. A Hathorian male who has managed to survive and even thrive where stronger, more virile Anhur males have succumbed to the Trax. Renegade proves the old adage that the strength of a King resides firmly with the woman behind the throne. Bravo Myra!.
I really love Sickle's journey. He really became more than he was before he ended up outside of the walls. I don't think that he thought he could ever become who he was, but he learned some things about himself. I am really impressed and I look forward to seeing what goes on with him.
Renegade is really interesting too. I think that, like Sickle, she is really coming into her own, and I am wondering how her plans and Giaus' plans are going to interact. I think that some of what they both want will work together, but they both each have their own goals, and it's going to be interesting to see what is going to happen.
There is a lot going on, but it all feeds into each other, so
Anhur males tied together in sickness and corruption. A fallen prince and a peasant who would be king, between them, a female who dared. Renegade.

I'm going to be completely honest here. I fucking loved this book, it gave me so much closure, at least for now, with the grand majority of the things that I was worried about. However, I desperately wished that I could've had more scenes with Shade (ex. Sickle) since this was his book, ya know? And just...I'm overall very happy with how this turned out (read: Shade and Renegade not dead in ditches and together), and yet, if you told me that Renegade and Shade were gonna be the only two who were gonna make it out of all of this together, I wouldn't have been mad AT ALL.
This I think is due to the fact that even though Giaus and Sinadim had a nice portion of character growth in this last book, ultimately I was only barely convinced by the end that they might love her in some sort of way. Reason being that although Giaus and Sinadim desired her, had as she said a "possessive devotion" towards her, and maybe even cherished or admired her at points, I was scraping for crumbs to see any evidence of them *loving* her. And actually *seeing* her.
Hell, there's even a portion of the latter half of the plot where we see Renegade finally realize that they'd only wanted to use her to make their army, or to simply possess. Something to fight over between the two of them, with barely anything left for herself. She even goes on to say how even though they cater to her every want, they don't see her, and effectively smother her spirit to embers.
Do I think that by the end of the book that they've learned to not do that? Yeah, I'd say so. I saw some improvement in the epilogue.
But did the vast majority of their scenes even hold a damn candle to Renegade reuniting with Shade, and then the level of yearning and intimacy, coupled with the *cultural meaning* of the two of them being together as a pair of Omegan Hathorians? Or even in the way Shade simply THOUGHT about her in such a yearning and loving way once he was no longer concerned about the Trax virus, versus Giaus and Sinadim who even in the last 75% of the book still referenced her as having used to be nothing more than a harem breeder?
Yeah, hell no, not even close.
Hence, why although I am happy enough to give this book 5 stars, it's like a tentative 5. A "if I can get more installments on their story since the ending hinted at it, coupled with Giaus and Sinadim doing a fuckton of groveling, if not just getting together, or kicking the buckets" type of 5.
At the end of the day I liked Giaus and Sinadim more *together* than with Renegade, because at least then there wasn't this inherent assumption that the other person was little more than pampered property with misogynistic thoughts as seasoning.
In any case, I'm just glad that my Omegan babies who probably need to go to a chiropractor at this point because they carried this series on their BACKS, Shade and Renegade are alive, together and in love, we don't even need to think about the other two, so I shall take and eat the food I'm given. Thank you, and good night. 😌🖤🖤

“I will give it to you,” she called, and slipped between the saplings. Her path an easy one to pace, where it hummed through her mind. A destination she alone could see, for to her, it was a beacon. One that called her home. “I will give you gifts no Anhur can ever know. Secrets written in a language only we can read.”

Sickle is on his journey to becoming what he has always hoped for. Hard choices, pain, lust, heat, chemistry, lots of sex, great characters and danger and desire!
This has to be one of the best series of books that I have read in a while. Yes, they are dark so of this is not your thing, please don't read and give it a bad review as it is not to your liking. The world that has been created here is amazing. It is dark, full of pain and yet as with Pandora's box, there is still a little bit of hope left. The bit that I am most thankful for is that it doesn't end on a cliffhanger. There are openings for more but it doesn't leave you guessing, wanting more definitely but not guessing. I hate to give spoliers as there is a lot going on and you would not feel the same about it if you knew what was coming, trust me on this. Sickle has had to watch while he could do nothing to save the one he loves most, Renegade. Feeling impotent, he has his own journey to find himself and hopefully return all the stronger for it. Renegade is still going strong, a Queen but all is not yet resolved in her Feral Court. There is war, death, subterfuge and dark deeds. What else would you expect from the glorious Myra Danvers?!!
I’ve enjoyed reading about the Feral Court and this is a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. It goes up some loose ends and sets up a thrilling path forwards should the author choose to come back to the court. I liked Renegade more and more as the series went on, but she really came into her own in this book and the strength, bravery and recklessness within her showed more of itself. There’s something wild and terrifying at times reading this series but there’s also a spark that keeps you hoping and rooting for the characters throughout the book. Sickle himself is a surprise, the reader goes from thinking they know him to a much deeper understanding. I really enjoy books by this author because they’re easy to read and engaging throughout. I hope the author does return to the world of the feral court in the future but even if she doesn’t I will get to enjoy some of her other series.

Finally it is here. Well worth the wait. If you are not into blood and gore, you should properly not read it. But what else can you expect from Myra Danvers.
It starts right after Sickle stumbles upon 6 starving baby dragons, their adult form one of the most feared creatures of the Wilds. Narrowly he escapes but now has to decide, to kill for survival or try to use them to his advantage.
I really like this version of Sickle. He grows and transform into something stronger. He is no longer going to roll over on his back for the Anhur Alphas.
Renegade was caught, infected and mated to not one but two Anhur Alphas. Between them she really has to assert herself, if she doesn’t want to become a breeding bank for fodder to Gaius army.
We doesn’t get as much Renegade time, as I would have liked. But I also enjoy Gaius and Sinadims perspective.
MDanvers books are never soft romances. They are dark and twisted things. Stories, like feral beasts that tear, tooth and nail, toward a better ending. They leave blood and destruction in their wake, all so that the story that was denied may be told.
Each story tells of a character, tragically broken, abused, discarded. An inner strength that claws its way out, that refuses to die or be extinguished. Fighting for a place in the world that would rather have you on your knees, MDanvers gives her FMC this inner dichotomy of weakness and strength. She let's them break and fail; she allows them to find their inner warriors.
In this last book, it seems all the males realize that they are not the sh!t. They are nothing when it comes to what Renegade wants and what control she has over them. She has this hidden strength. She is more than just her dynamic and she will show them. She will show them all.

Myra Danvers, creator of lavish settings and descriptive creatures, once again pummels our brains with a fantastical continuation of the Her Feral Court series, continuing to prepare for war, with her readers by her side.
Sickle, a beacon to Renegade, travels his own journey, while Giaus and Sinadim strengthen the Feral Queen’s court. Unexpected alien enemies, outside and within, find the cracks and crevices of darkness, of gore, of shadows. Scavengers and wild creatures of day and night haunt already haunted and deteriorating bodies and minds, until a golden path lays claim to an almost unattainable future.
Danvers propels her characters like a spike in our brain. She grinds their attributes, good and bad, into a pulsing, and often, fetid nutritional stew. She is an ‘extreme’ author, who holds nothing too extreme.
This is a dark, twisted and intense Omegaverse story - not for the faint of heart. More Giaus, Sinadim, and their queen, Renegade, who is still as strong and amazing in this third book - she's still as strong as ever and working on building her Feral Court. Sickle is on his own journey to becoming her strong Hathorian, Shade. And, Balkazar is back, though nothing like he once was. Know before you read that there's knotting, heats, rutting, purring, singing, violence, death and more - there's a lot more violence and death in this one. This was an amazing read part three and you do have to read the books in order as this takes up right where book two, Giaus, ends. This one ends on a cliffhanger, so you'll have to keep going with the next book!
OMG this dark Omegaverse dystopian series continues to set me on edge with a hunger that never seems to be quenched. This series is a must read if you love dark, dirty and on the edge of your seat Omegaverse stories. Also, you must read books one and two first because Renegade and her Feral Court are ohhhhh so worth it and it sets up everything leading up to this book, Sickle.
In the end, there is a war coming and only the strong will survive. Come jump on Renegade’s bandwagon and learn more about her and her feral court. You will not be disappointed.
Not patiently awaiting for the next book in this fantastic Omegaverse series!!!!
Sickle is the third and final book in the Feral Court series. It continues the Giaus’ journey to build the Feral Court with Renegade at his side. Despite what Giaus and even Sinadim expected, they were not prepared for what they got in Renegade. When a secret is revealed, Renegade takes matters into her own hands and truly embraces her place as queen while reuniting with Sickle as he is now.
While it was difficult to follow at times due to the different points of view (Sickle’s) shifting quickly, it all came together in the end. I enjoyed this series as a whole and am interested to see what happens next for Renegade and her court.

Third book and the story is still going strong. I believe it may because of the strong characters or it could be that the reader is given little surprises from Renegade herself. Just when we think she is compliant she surprises us with her thoughts. Sickle is one of my favorites. From the beginning I was endeared toward his character and I love what becomes of him. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for Renegade and her men as they will be forced to battle an even larger Alpha, The Primus. Sounds riveting.

At the end of the first book, I cheered for Renegade because she chose freedom over safety. The second book had me wondering how this whole thing would end when she landed on Giaus' lap. This third and final installment to the trilogy confirmed Renegade's true nature. She was awesome. Her manipulation in creating her feral court was brilliant. It is as close to a happy ending as could be expected. It was happy for her. It's her story after all.
The author promises a war is coming in a sequel series. Looking forward to it.

This is the third book in the series and you absolutely have to read them in order, otherwise you won’t have a clue what is going on. It’s also a full on omega book so don’t choose this book if the super hot sex scenes are not your thing. It is however totally brilliant and I’ve not read anything like this before. The storyline is so good, can now readily admit that certain babies would have scared the hell out of me! Sickle was pretty ingenious with that situation. The writing is really good and the world built is incredibly descriptive, I certainly wouldn’t want to live in this world. Definitely recommend.

When you establish in the first chapter of the first book that Omega is a racial slur, how and why are we then to come to LIKE these anhur mates who continually call her that? Like, I understand dirty talk and things said in the moment being different than things said outside of it, but I thought we could all be on the same page about RACIAL SLURS. Seriously? Calling this is dark romance is just gross. I’m so very disappointed. And no comeuppance for the racist attempted rapist? He just gets to wander the wilds free as can be. What a bizarre idea of a happily ever after.
Not going to lie, there is a lot that goes on in this book, so buckle up and enjoy the ride. There are many moving parts within Renegade's Feral Court, and it is extremely satisfying to see them come together. Lots of steam and spice percolate between the viewpoints of multiple key characters to help the storyline blossom. If you enjoyed Renegade and Giaus, Sickle does not disappoint! Read at your own peril, because once you start, it's hard to put down!.

Ok so I read this book literally having no idea what to expect, even tho I had previously read these books when they were shorter and under this author's different pen name. The author has so vastly changed the story that I really didn't know what may happen, but I still had some things I guessed at and was completely wrong about! Sickle ends up being a much stronger person then I ever expected. While Giaus and Sinadim go from enemies to something more. All for Renegade. The author says there will be more in the series at the end of the book and I can't wait to see where she will take us!
The final book in the Feral Court series gave me so much pleasure. It continues from where Giaus left off, with uncertainty about the effects of the rampant Trax infection upon our characters. Renegade proves herself as the queen of the Feral Court, with Giaus and Sin by her side. I loved Sickle, who evolves into Shade with a special group of creatures. He makes Renegade stronger. Balkazar’s appearance brings an unease about what is ahead. The author creates a rich dark world with wonderful descriptions.
Sickle has finally got what he wanted a place to live and love. I thought we had lost him, but he comes back stronger. Her other mates can do nothing to tame Renegade's wild ways. This book is as good as the others before it. It has lots of intrigue, dragons, a wild queen and her two mates. There are some explicit sexual scenes and bloody gore, if these are trigger for pass this book by. For all the hard loving Myra Danvers fans, she has written a tale about our beloved Sickle and it's a winner!
This book started out with the struggles between life and death. It was really touch and go for everyone involved. And just when I thought I knew where the author was going with the book, she throws us a curve ball and changes things up again. Especially when I was rooting for a character's demise, they go and redeem themselves (somewhat), LOL. There's some flashback for one of the characters that gives us a better understanding of their character. I feel like I'm on a roller coaster ride but it's one heck of a ride.
Not only is this darkly erotic, but seeing through Sickle's and Renegades eyes, you see them transform from subjugated to free beeings, fighting for their place in this new feral court that Renegade would be queen of. But each and every one is trying to gain the upper hand with her except for one who wants to worship her. The actions of all, from sacrifice to betrayal to trust and forgiveness, to working together against a greater foe make for an epic tale. Awesome worldbuilding.
