Amy
I had been abducted by aliens, survived a crash-landing in a spaceship--none of which I, thankfully, remembered. Then, an alien medic--who looked like an elf from The Lord of the Rings--miraculously healed my injuries in record time. I made it through all that and even a trek through a deadly jungle to relative safety.

Just when I was beginning to feel like myself, I was whacked over the head and--once again--abducted. Only this time I knew my abductor, but catastrophe struck, and I was left on my own in the wilds of the jungle with only my wits to keep me alive. Injured and weaponless, how long would I last on my own?

Maxxon
After my colleague and I stumbled upon the unimaginable, he was brutally murdered before my very eyes. I managed to escape the city of Huren before I succumbed to the same fate, taking with me the truth of the gray invaders.

In the jungle, I found the impossible. As a Royal Medic, I had treated everything from common ailments to gravely injured warriors with extreme proficiency, but the unconscious female in my arms had me baffled. She was definitely another species. What was more shocking was the call of her spirit to mine.

**2.6/5 stars**

Definitely my least favorite from this series so far. The story wasn't very interesting and the characters were a little bit lacking. I was looking forward to know what has happened to Amy after she was kidnapped, along with Marie. Turns out it was very uneventful. We barely get any more information on what's going on in the City of Huren and we get a rushed love story without chemistry.

Amy was one of those heroines I just can't connect with. I couldn't relate to her character at all. I didn't care for her background and I also got annoyed at the sl*t shaming she was doing at the beginning of the book. By the way she appeared in the first books when she was a secondary character, she seemed very blunt and independant and she also voiced her opinion without really thinking about the way it affected others around. In this one, she was pretty much the same...she does apologize for certain things, and I appreciated it but yeah. Annoying overall. She was also very direspectful towards the Valosian's beliefs. The way she expressed herself rubbed me the wrong way on many occasions. I just couldn't stand her.

“The bond is for all eternity even after death. Do you understand? I have to know you accept me as your spirit mate.”

I didn’t buy into any of that spirit mate bullshit. I was extremely attracted to Maxxon and there were budding feelings beyond lust. Plus, I had an itch that needed to be scratched and I was tired of walking around in a perpetual state of low-level arousal.

Without a second thought, I blurted out, “I accept you.”

And then when the bond happened just like Maxxon clearly warned her about beforehand, and just like she knew it would happen since it happened to her bestfriend Lily before her... Amy was like:
40f

And then she dared get angry at Maxxon because the bond happened.

“I’ll tell you what’s not healthy, Maxxon. This thing etched into my freaking chest. That’s not normal where I’m from.”

Maxxon was a little bit more likeable, he was sweet and protective. And the whole time I just kept thinking he deserved better than Amy. For him to be fated mates with her is truly dreadful. 😔 He was respectful and caring. He even blamed himself after the bond happened, he thought he hadn't been clear enough, rushed the bonding, etc. He wasn't my favorite Valosian but he was pleasant. I rounded up my rating just for him.

“My spirit sings aloud to yours. What you feel inside is your spirit’s silent song to mine. Yours is a lovely serenade.”-Maxxon

When it came to the chemistry between Maxxon and Amy, I didn't really see it. The fact that one was frivolous while the other was serious just didn't pair well. From the get go, they were not on the same page and it ruined the bonding moment that should've been beautiful and intimate. I just couldn't find it in me to care about their relationship.

Overall, this third installment was disappointing to me. Not much was added to the main plot BUT we did get to meet the Trisess Clan and some of the characters I'm really looking forward to read about...I'm thinking here of Tikkot, the arrogant scout. I'm sensing a love-hate relationship with Isobel and I can't wait to get to it.

And I keep repeating it, these books should be read in order, since they follow a linear main plot. Skipping one or reading them as standalones will result in confusion about the intrigue.

Amy is unlikable, arrogant, and not someone I'd ever call friend, so that's why it made it very hard to enjoy this story. 2 stars is being generous.
Whatever the author is paying for editorial services is being wasted, as there are still quite a few errors throughout the book.

I really really like this series. The characters are adorable and the storyline is great. There is a bit of humour crammed into the action packed books too, and I love it! Amy is a character I thought I wasn’t going to like at the start of the series but after everything that she’s gone through I can vet confidently say I adore her. These women after all the stuff that’s happened to them and continues to happen to them are so kind hearted and quick to help others. It’s just one of the many reasons I enjoy this series. Can’t wait for more!

This book continues the story of a group of human women that were abducted and then rescued by a band of silver, buff, elf-like aliens. I love this series and I'm just dying to know what exactly the bad guys are up to and how the good guys are going to fix it. There is fantastic world building here, and in this book we get a peek at the other inhabitants of Valose! Chompers was delightful, and I'm looking forward to great things from that direction. 🥰

Pretty Good

I am very much enjoying the overall story of this series, and getting to know each individual character and see the beginnings of each relationship is wonderful. Maybe I’m just a glutton for the initial challenge though, because as soon as each accepts their mate, the story doesn’t feel as magical and interesting. I’m still going to read them all thoroughly and enjoy myself!

So good! Now need to read the first two in this exciting series. In this book we see Amy found by Maxxon. She has been left by another warrior and manages to wake and bare witness to 2 alien sabre cats fighting. Finding a young cub that she rescues and bonds with. Maxxon finds her and treats her wounds. They slowly get to know each other as a bond forms between them. There is much happening in this story as our couple come together and eventually catch up with close friends. There are touches of humour and I just loved Chomper. Being a cat person, myself. I can see him helping in some way in their future adventures. Roll on number 4! :)

This book was written from a dual perspective, switching back-and-forth between the main male and female characters. Written in first person by Iona Strom, SILVER SAVIOR is the 3rd book in Warriors of Valose Saga, and follows the Valosian alien Maxxon and his human mate Amy.

Amy was a twenty-four year old lab tech from Seattle before she was abducted by the Gretolic aliens, (along with several other human femals). Her captors crash landed on a dangerous planet called Valose, near the city of Huren. The women were then rescued by Jakkar and his warriors. They made it safely back to the Valosian settlement, only for Amy to be kidnapped at the end of book 1 by the traitor Rayyar. She managed to escape her captors after Rayyar was eaten by a wetlock (which was sweeter karma at it's finest), saving a baby patooga, before Maxxon found her unconscious and injured.

Maxxon was a three hundred and two year old royal medic, still inside the dome of Huren, when he escaped with a case of evidence showing what was happening inside the dome. He thought Sia Jakkar, along with his warriors, had been executed, until he discovered the truth after finding Amy during one of his hunting trips. Maxxon had taken refuge on an island, which was where he took Amy and her patooga cub to heal.

Valosians resembled elves in human folklore, with long white hair and pointed pronounced ears, but with fangs and camouflaged scales instead of skin.

Amy was Maxxon's spirit mate (soulmate) verified by his thrumming and his second heart beating. Spirit mates were complementing spirits. Once they find each other, the need to couple becomes an urgency impossible to ignore. Thrumming was a song of the souls, a rhythmic vibration of enticement to let the female know the male was ready to begin the bond. After her touch, his ancillary heart beat for the first time and Maxxon had been "awakened." He believed his hope for finding his spirit mate had vanished along with the death of their females.

The couple officially had sex in chapter 7, at the 48% mark, which was the perfect wait. I read this genre of books specifically for the raunch. Delaying sexual intercorse anytime after the 48% mark is like dangling the cheese so long it molds. After first intercourse, the spirits of the mates would coalesce, and matching marks (called a shawra) would appear over their hearts. It was like a swirling tattoo of silver that glowed from within, and they could feel each other's emotions. Amy had given her best friend Lia a lot of grief for claiming Jakkar as her spirit mate, and apologized for her ignorance after the two were reunited.

Valose was full of dangers, such as carnivorous predators and hostile enemies. There's the man-sized locusts known as the Nuttaki horde, carnivorous venus fly traps (floratrap), saber-toothed cats (patooga), Dragons (wetlock), huge sea creatures that could swallow a human whole (squidlin) and T-Rexes (rexose) to name a few. After the couple were united, they searched for Jakkar and the other human women, which had taken refuge inside caves. The couple ran into Tikkot, chief scout of Clan Trisess, another Valosian tribe, along the way. He took them back to their tribe where they were questioned by their Sia Havvar, who had an infant daughter that survived the reubella virus. She was quite possibly the only remaining Valosian female alive, and she was immune to the disease that wiped out their females. By the end, the couple survived the dangers of the planet, bringing Tikkot back to the safety of the caves, where they reunited with the rest of the settlement and discussed the joining of clans against the Gretolic threat. There was a lot going on in this book, a lot of which I didn't cover, so you will have to read it and discover the adventure for yourself. 🤪

So far, this series appears worth the read if this genre of books is in your wheelhouse. So far, this book is my favorite of the series, but that might be because of the age difference between the couple. Even though I was often irritated with Amy's character, I also found her relatable. Especially with the attraction to older men. It had the perfect balance of adventure and romance. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series. 🫶

Third book in the series about Amy, the lab rat redhead, and Maxxon, the royal medic. These are getting better but like the previous two installments it’s more about the adventure than the romance. Although that is getting better as well.

Amy is doubtful of romance. She was raised by a single mother. Which makes me wonder how on Valose she could make this statement: “I’ve never had anyone do anything so selfless for me before.” Um, your mom maybe?? But whatevs. Older men — like twenty years, EUW — are her “Achilles heel.” And Maxxon is way older. He’s 302. I know. It must be the clean air.

Amy is twenty-four. And while her taste in older men — she was screwed by a professor on his desk — is questionable, she has vivid red hair and pale skin. Why she wants to “bask in the twin suns” remains a mystery.

The world building is so good. I like the difference in the air being described inside vs. outside the dome. But also appreciate Amy’s sentiment: “And why in the hell was everything blue, silver, or white?” There are still questions. Like just what happened to the original city, but we are moved significantly closer to answers.

Just a note on the Valose linguistics. It’s one thing to make up an alien language. It’s another to call a tree frog a tree frugg. So many errors. It’s difficult to tell if it’s alien-speak or just craptastic editing.

But. But as with the others, the story is interesting and the adventure engaging. I shall continue.

Errors:
“Gretolics crimes” — Gretolics’
“I raced out the closet exit,…” — closest
“…my hair to my scalp in a nasty matt…” — mat
“I hadn’t voluntarily stop running…” — stopped
“A fact which I am painfully aware.” — of which
“…and I had seen him go down, and something inside me flipped.” — “…and I saw him go down, something inside me flipped.”
“…and lifted me lie on his back with me straddling his lap.” — pretzel
“…and suffer a lifetime nursing a suffering loss.” — also suffering over here
“…which I couldn’t look away from.” — from which
“…agreeance…” — not a word

This is the third book of the series and wow am I addicted to these books I love all the characters old and new and the feelings of a strong family bond between them all. Maxxon is the Royal medic that served both brothers Jakkar and Sakkar until Sakkar brought evil into there lives and there home planet Valose and Jakkar chose to leave all the technology behind saying it’s not good and dangerous and a lot of his men agreed and left with him. Now the alien race Gretolics have taken over Huren and the city’s dome with there mind control and killing anyone that gets in there way. Maxxon and Kayyot uncover the real reason they are here and must get help before it’s to late but Kayyot is killed saving Maxxon so he can get free and save his people and with Hexxus help he is out and must find Jakkar. Hiding out he stumbles upon a injured female while collecting food and straight away his second heart start to beat and he is shocked that this beautiful female is his spirit mate. Amy saves a small baby animal but gets hurt doing so and passes out and now coming too she realizes that a gorgeous older man is looking after her and she is naked, she remembers water and being washed but now looking at him her heart races and her mind has slipped to the gutter with wild dirty thoughts of this hot warrior and something tells her with the look of desire in his eyes he feels the same way. Can they find the others before it’s to late and will they stay together or will Amy go home to earth and leave Maxxon behind, but for now all Amy wants to is find her best friend Lily to apologize for not believing in the spirit bond.

4&1\2terrific 🌟s for Any and Maxxon

This series was such a happy accident for me. I found it one night while looking for something new. I was lucky the night I found this series. Tall, sliver gorgeous silver warriors and the very sassy, smart human some who fall for them. Maxxon , is a royal doctor that was trapped in the domed city. He has found out some serious information about the invasion that is happening on his planet. In a very dangerous escape Maxxon gets out and ends up in hiding.until he goes hunting and comes across a beautiful red headed female that makes both his hearts thrum. Amy wakes up after being knocked out and kidnapped. Before her kidnapped can get her back to the Valose city he's eaten by a very dangerous predator. Amy runs for her life and finds nothing but danger and terror along the way. Just when you think her life is over, a silver savior come out of the jungle to rescue her. She was seriously wounded trying to save a pootanga cub. When she wakes she and Maxxon share their stories and then it's one big dangerous adventure to find the exiled tribe and get them the information the need to know. As their journey become more dangerous their attraction becomes all consuming and the bond of mates becomes all inportant. Such a great series I love it and recommend it. Can wait for the next one!💖💞💖💞💖💞💖💞💖💞💖💞💖💞💖

I love this series, and it gets better (if that's even possible) with each book. This time we meet Maxxon, a medic, who has to flee the city of Huren before he is killed by the Gretolics. His only hope of survival is to find Jakkar, but Maxxon has no clue where the banished ruler and his supporters have ended up. During his search he comes across an unconscious alien female. Of course, he rescues her.

The female is poor Amy, Lily's best friend, who has managed to escape her kidnapper, and save a pootanga cub, only to come face to face with it's sire who fancies her for lunch. In her determination not to become a tasty morsel, Amy is injured. Cue Maxxon!

Adventures abound as the pair try to find Jakkar. Amy proves she is no shrinking violet when it comes to protecting those she loves, and Maxxon is the quintessential - not to mention totally swoonworthy - hero. But... in my opinion, it is Chompers... the cub... who steals the show (and everyone's hearts), and is as much a star of this book as Amy and Maxxon.

Silver Savior is a riveting story and Ms Strom's ability to create beautiful and deadly alien worlds blows my mind. Her attention to detail is second to none, as are her characters, both good and evil. I can't wait for Book 4!

A Valosian medic escapes the aliens who have taken over his city and are responsible for killing off all their females, and finds one of the human women who had been kidnapped by a male who was under the control of the aliens.

Amy had been hit badly in the crash of the alien ship that had kidnapped them from Earth, and was barely healed when the spy in the Valosian exiles ranks was broken out of confinement by one of the humans who thought she'd do better in the city controlled by the gray aliens. Luckily for Amy, the spy was attacked by an animal, causing him to drop her, allowing her to escape while he fought the animal. After finding and saving a cub she falls asleep in the forest where the escaped medic finds her while hunting. Can they find the rest of the exiles, save the city from the gray aliens, and put Sia Jakkar back on the throne? It's a tall order, and love is sneaking around matching up the human women with the Valosian males, a soul match that the women cannot refuse, and the males will not refuse. This book is darn God but needs a better proofreading to pick up the errors.

The Valose saga continues but unfortunately Amy & Maxxon's story fell short of the first two books. Amy was thoughtlessly hot and cold with her attitude about the planet and spirit mates, and Maxxon is an honourable doormat. As a result, this book seemed to be just a filler to move the story arc forward to some more interesting action. Hopefully the next couple in the series will be worth continuing with.
Fav Quote:
I needed to be sure this was what she wanted. “No matter how far apart we are, no matter where you go, my love for you will never fade. It will remain just as strong now as it would if we became separated. On any world, you will always be my treasured spirit mate.”
Star ratings:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - I can't stop daydreaming and telling everyone about this book.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ - A great read with all the feels. I would read again.
⭐⭐⭐ - I liked the book but wouldn't it read again.
⭐⭐ - Usually in the DNF pile or I suffered until the end for whatever reason.
⭐- Just no.

Silver Savior was an amazing third installment for the Warriors of Valose series! The characters and the World building in this series is Out of this World! Ms. Strom is a master at her craft and I can't wait to get my hands on Silver Solace.

Amy's the she-devil in disguise with her fiery red hair and bad ass attitude. I laughed so hard I cried at some of her flippant comments but she sure did win me over in the end.

Maxxon's a medic who stumbles upon Amy and her patooga cub, Chompers, in the dangerous jungle. It doesn't take long before Maxxon is smitten with the both of them.

I highly recommend Silver Savior and this entire series to all lovers of Sci-Fi romance with a dash of intriguing mystery. 5 ***** stars!

It was a good story and addition to the series

This was a good read. The lead characters are like able and you can relate to their struggles of being lost and trying to find their way back. The lead males is a keeper. As the reader, even I wanted him as a mate. He was smart, a healer, and so attentive to his mate. Now the lead female is hilarious. She is upset with her BFF Lily because she doesn’t believe in mates. Since she doesn’t believe so she tell her Silver Medic that she agrees to mate with him. Then when her mating marks show up, she get upset. LoL. I have to say, she gets upset with herself and not her mate, which is the best course of action. Read On!

The story continues, with the story of Amy and Maxxon and how they find their way to the others. Once again this book offered a unique story, but ties so well into the main story. This book offers amazing world development; I enjoyed getting to see a safe area of the world. The path they took to accept each other and the little bit of humor along the way, was sweet. This book allowed the reader to understand Amy more, I like her! Chompers stole the show, cuteness overload. I highly recommend this book. I can not wait to see what they decide to do to stop their enemy.

This series keeps getting better with each book! It kept me reading until the end. With the intriguing characters and unique storyline you have an amazing story! Maxxon and Amy’s story is full of danger, suspense and twists and turns that keep you wondering what will happen next! They take trip through a dangerous jungle to reach the rest of their people. Choppers, the baby animal that Amy saved, is adorable! He stole the show! I loved Silver Savior and the rest of the Warriors if Valose series! I can’t wait to read Silver Solace! It’s going to be so good!

Its a good book

Im a Medical Laboratory Scientist some of the stuff talked about was off from a scientific standpoint yes there are ways to see some diseases via tissue samples. Viruses however are not always one of them you have to do a antibody test or a test the attaches certain chemicals that floresce and can be seen by a computer a flow cytometry type or chemical activation like a pregnancy test. I had to think outside the box a go with they must have had a smaller version of an electron microscope. To see antibodies.
Overall the story is a good one.

Amy’s turn

Number 3 in the series. This read was shorter but still engaging. Maxxon is a royal medic and his duties is in a medical lab he escaped and in hiding. Amy is a lab tech and was kidnapped again, saved a baby alien cat and received injuries that needed urgent medical care again. Maxxon finds Amy and the baby alien cat, cares for her injuries, finds out they are spirit mates. The read is not as intense as the previous books but more finding out why the grey aliens is on their planet. Another puzzle put into place

The situation on Valose isn’t getting any better. This story brings a new male to the story. And Amy has declared him her Silver Savior. We get some answers for what the enemy grey aliens are doing. But can humans and the warriors find a solution? Expect plenty of adventure and danger. The tension between Amy and Maxxon heats up as Amy is very conflicted about her feelings. So much is happy in each book and I highly suggest reading them in order.

this series 🔥

This series is so freaking good!!! I love the world that is Volose and the warriors so much! The suspense and drama is so good! The individual love story are beautiful! So far I think this is one is my favorite only because of chompers lol that being said I hate that EVERY book is a cliffhanger it’s annoying and having to wait for sucks. Sooo as much as I love this author I doubt after this series I’ll read another.

Fun

I've enjoyed this fun series. The world building is interesting and characters compelling. My only complaint is for some reason during sex scenes the author switches tenses and the English tutor in me gets annoyed. A little more editing is needed I think but otherwise a fun romp.

Excellent Again 😁

This series seems to be getting better and better 😃. As each abducted woman becomes a Spirit Mate to a warrior, we're finding out more about what the Grey's are up to 🤔. Dangerous action, nasty bad guys, flying craft, Spirit Mates and totally interesting characters will keep your interest 😉. Thanks again Iona & LS, I'm looking forward to reading more 🤓.

Silver Savior #3

I love this series. I found it by accident and since I am interested in any books on this genre, I thought to give it a trial and I have been thoroughly enchanted by it. It's nice to read different authors and their views on Aliens. I'm beginning to think that some of the authors that write in this genre are Aliens themselves, they write so realistic

Great book

I couldn't put this book down. Although it can be read alone, having the story line from the previous books in this series made it a great book. All of the others were just as good and I can't wait for the next book to come out.
