Great little book, typically very personable & likeable tone along with a training program that looks fun. The basic premise they’re working from on this one was presented clearly & succinctly. Looking forwards to giving it a go.
A huge disappointment after the heights hit by Jailhouse Strong, which is an iconic strength book that lays out a brilliantly effective routine. This feels like a "we'd better get another book out" rush job. It's scant and skinny, with a method that is somewhat impractical if you don't have access to you own well-equipped gym. Bryant and benShea are better than this.
Read through in one day, but definitely will re-read to soak it all in. Always enjoy how the training is tied to tales of their younger days and characters at their old gym. Looking forward to trying the program out.
Density is a good and useful training concept, which I’ve used successfully in my training career. The book has some interesting points. Thanks to the authors for sharing their perspective
