I couldn’t put this down. It’s fun and feisty.
After a one night stand Paisley never expected to see her one night stand again never mind being his house guest. What starts as fun turns into so much more.
These two have great chemistry and a lot of lovin’. Can they resist falling in love.
This is light hearted with steamy content.

Whoa! I did not expect to like this book as much as I did and all I can say is that you will love it too! Paisley meets a hot stranger at a hotel bar and has an epic one night stand. She walks away without a word so that she doesn’t fall for him and break her own heart. Problem is…. He’s her new roommate! This book was so much fun. Full of feisty characters, witty banter, and smoking hot bedroom scenes. I read this in one sitting and wish I had more of Paisley & Colin’s story to devour. This was the first book I have read by this author but already know I will be back for more.

I thought this romance was quite cute. Paisley has sworn off falling in love so when she has a one-night stand, she leaves without getting his contact info. Imagine her (and his) surprise when they meet again as roommates! Colin has his work cut out for him as he tries to convince Paisley to resume their passionate encounter and to be more. I found their banter to to fun and it made me laugh. I really like both characters and thought that it was such an entertaining and enjoyable romance.

It's a story with some hints of humor because the heroine Paisley, no longer wants to fall in love and when she finds herself sharing a house with Colin, a former one-night stand, she has to face her decision. …. But Colin makes her choice very difficult, despite well-defined rules.
Their story is tender, very hot, funny, and although it has a predictable part, it is addicting. I thought it was a good romantic comedy.

📚 Once again, I found myself diving into a book by this author and not putting it down until it was done. In this story, Paisley is going to become our main character. We met her in the previous two books. I this book is going to start off spicy. Where in previous books we worked for it, Paisley jumps right in. After meeting a man at a bar that she finds herself attracted to. Swearing off men and relationships, she finds herself entertaining his company. Only to make an exit before he can wake up.
Her sister’s brother-in-law lives out of the country. After Paisley has some bad luck with housing, the suggestion for her to move in is brought up. What she didn’t expect was a man she had a one night stand with a few months back to be her new roommate.
Colin has lived his life away from home for the last year. But now his company has allowed him to move back stateside, and more specifically to his home. He’s surprised when he learns the woman that will be sharing his home is no other than the girl that slipped out before he could get her phone number. He spent the last couple of months thinking about her every single day, and now she’s standing in front of him. It appears his brothers wife, happens to be her sister.
In an effort to make things less awkward, Paisley offers to find other accommodations until she’s able to find a place of her own. Colin quickly discovers he does not like the thought of that idea. Paisley is trying really hard to fight off her attraction to Colin because again she has worn off men. She feels she could be in danger of falling in love with him. After dinner with her girls, They come up with a plan and now all she has to do is see if Colin will be willing to go along with it.
This book definitely took a different turn in the previous ones. Which caught my interest quickly. The author does a wonderful job, character building and making you feel for these characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

This was a good read. Paisley meets Colin one night. She soon finds out he is the guy she will be living with. She wants to prove she can be with a man and not fall in love. However, fate has other plans for her. Luckily in the end everything works out and they get their happy ending.

I am loving this series so much! This is book 3 and it is Paisley's story!
I adore Paisley so much. She has such a big heart and is such a hardcore romantic. So much so that every guy she ends up with, falls head over heels for, unfortunately after she falls for these guys, she ends up getting her heart broken by them. She makes a promise and vows no more sleeping with guys/one-night stands and no more falling in love… HA! Yeah, sure, okay, that didn’t last long, she ends up breaking that promise pretty fast and sleeps with a guy she doesn’t know at all bar one night and leaves the next morning, no strings attached… the thing is, this wasn’t just any guy… She thought she would never see him again. She thought she successfully managed to have a no-strings-attached one-night stand, that was until the guy she slept with turned out to be her new roommate! The guy aka Colin is Paisley’s brother-in-law's brother. Never in a million years did she see this coming. The thing is, she has nowhere else to go so she has to move in with him and this is when the fun starts…
Colin was sweet, sexy and swoony as ever and even though Paisley hasn’t had the best luck with guys, she’s still very confident and self-assured and I admired that in her. She knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to go for it. These two together were on fire! The chemistry? OFF THE CHARTS and Colin makes it obvious how much he wants and cares for Paisley from the very beginning. He isn’t there to play games.
I won’t dive in any deeper but I will say that this book was so fun to read and so steamy and addictive! RL’s ability to write a story with characters you can’t help but fall in love with is incredible.

I couldn’t get enough of Colin and Paisley! Their book is my new favorite! I love when a book switches things up and makes the woman afraid of commitment. It gives the H time to shine and be everything she could every dream of in a partner. I can’t recommend this book enough! You MUST READ IT!!
I LOVED these two characters. Paisley is trying desperately to not fall in love again. Colin knows he could fall in love with Paisley and wants a chance. When they become roommates, Colin knows this is the time to win her over. I love the time they spend getting to know each other and become friends. Even if that’s friends with benefits and a few rules.
There is so much steam to enjoy in this book too! The chemistry between these two is off the charts! I loved how RL used the steamy scenes to add to their story as well. The way they respond to each other, desire each other, and connect so well, you just know these two are meant for one another. The dinner party is one of the hottest scenes I’ve ever read, and that’s saying something because even in this book there is so many HOT scenes!
There is humor in this book as well which I really enjoyed. I loved the banter and texting between these two. I also enjoyed Colin’s attempts to help her “not fall in love.” They are pretty funny especially since it’s the opposite of what Colin would actually do. He’s a sweet guy with a heart of gold and is crazy about Paisley. What more could she want? Read their story!!! I can’t wait to read more about these two as the other books in this series release. I love how RL interconnects the stories so we can see what’s going on with everyone else in this amazing series!

Well that went fast. I mean, I’m used to reading romances in English now, even if it’s not my mother tongue, but I didn’t expect to read it that fast. And for it to go that fast. It seemed the whole thing was fast but I don’t know if it’s because I read it all in one go in a couple of hours or it’s actually fast-paced. Might be both.
I liked the idea behind the trope, and it’s not one I’m used to read (I don’t believe it’s that frequent either) so it was nice to have something that felt fresh in a genre where books can tend to become so similar you mix them up.
I just wish it went a bit deeper. There definitely was material for it, but in the end I can’t really say much about the characters apart from their jobs and that they seem a bit too perfect. More depth would have been nice, especially since it was really fast paced and I felt like the conflict was resolved in a blink of an eye (but it might just be me).
One thing is sure though: there’s a whole lot of sex. Really. And very descriptive too. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got nothing against descriptive sex, it can be very hot and the description is far from a turn off, it’s very well phrased. I was just not expecting it to be so detailed and so often when I started reading it and it caught me by surprise (I hadn’t seen the cover since it was a free version against my opinion). Just wanted to put it out there so that it doesn’t surprise someone else.
All in all, it was quite a pleasant read, hence the 3,5 rounded to 4 stars.

I am really loving this fun series by R.L.Kenderson.
They just get better with each book, were a group of old school friends meet up every month for a meal and gossip and to encourage eachother to stay away from all men!!..because they are just too much trouble and they have all been burned somehow.....But it seems like their men free little club has a flaw because each lady is finding their perfect matches.
This is book 3 and Paisley's story,she is a bit of a romantic because it seems every guy she has had a relationship with she falls head over heels for and ends up being dumped by them,for being to clingy.
So she vows no more falling in love,no more one night stands but she breaks that rule when while at a party she has a one night stand with a sexy stranger at a bar...and leaves in the morning without any attachments,not asking for his info or even if she wants to see him again..she is so proud of herself she will never see him again....
But that soon changes when they end up sharing living space together...Yes thats right they are new roommates!!!
Colin aka C.J....is Paisley's brother in laws BROTHER !!!!..It seems like fate is messing with her,she was homeless though and needed a place to stay until she could find her own place,and this was her only option for the time being.
Colin is great and actually is so honest with Paisley about his attraction to her and that he would like to sleep with her again.Paisley is adamant that NO she will not be doing the sexy times with him again,until her friends convince her to use Colin as a project..have all the fun with him no strings and he can be practice of how to not fall in love...that casual sex is possible without falling for them.
It seems like such a flawless plan but Colin is so wonderful,sexy and thoughtful,funny,sweet and dreamy.

I loved these two together they are insatiable for one another and find themselves in some HOT situations..
Paisley is so sexually confident ,even though her self esteem has taken a battering through past relationships,I think it is because Colin actually makes it clear he wants Paisley,and it makes her feel so relaxed with herself.
Colin in fact is a dream..I loved his playfulness and the way he cares for Paisley.
This series is so Amazing and the dialogue between characters is so witty and amusing I enjoy the banter.
Samantha Brentmoor and Robert Hatchett are the narrators again for this one and they are such a fabulous duo.They perfectly tell this story with all the comedy and emotions were it is needed.
I am really enjoying listening to them.

Not Another One-Night Stand is a contemporary romance featuring Paisley and Colin. It is the third book in the Not Another Romance series, but can be appreciated as a standalone story.
Alexis, Bree, Elizabeth, Isabel, Paisley, Pru and Tessa have been friends since high school. Paisley cannot deny her attraction to him, and eventually agrees to having sex with him again, but has him agree to a list of rules that endeavour to protect her heart and ensure she does NOT fall in love with him. Best laid plans...
I had so much fun with this audiobook. I couldn't put it down and found myself listening to it whenever I had a free moment. The dynamic between Colin and Paisley was delightful and delicious. Samantha Brentmoor and Robert Hatchet continue to do an awesome job bringing Kenderson's characters to life. I can only hope they had as much fun narrating as I did listening!
Alexis' story is up next and after the epilogue in this book, I can't wait to see how she gets her revenge on her ex!

During this assignment Colin went home for a short family visit. He sleeps in a hotel for his own home is not available. In the bar he meets Paisley by chance and they like each other. The result is a very satisfying one-night-stand. However due to her new intentions about boyfriends Paisley leaves the hotelroom in the middle of the night without revealing her contact information.
Then the author, R.L. Kenderson, describes how - later - the two main characters meet again and fall in love, despite Paisley’s ideas about boyfriends. The author creates many funny, sassy dialogues and some hot love scenes when Paisley tries to resist the inevitable HEA. For me a pleasure to read.

I cannot get enough of this series! It's warm to the heart and packed with fantastic characters. While this is #3 in the series and it does have crossover characters, it can be read as a standalone and still have fun. But I would start with the first book and enjoy all the love! This book features Colin and Paisley. Destined for their one night stand, having the best time of their lives, they figured they would never see each other again. But destiny does strange things, and brings them together again, only to find out Colin is her brother-in-law's brother! Now the two are living together while Paisley searches for a house, and Colin puts sleeping together again on the table. Will Paisley take him up on it? With her track record, should she? What does her friends say? This had me from the start. I love surprises of fate and incredible chemistry and that is exactly what RL Kenderson delivers. These two have fun banter, exciting times and explosive passion. It's an absolute blast to listen to and I can't wait for the next in the series.
Samantha Brentmoor and Robert Hatchet continue their fabulous narration of the series. These two bring it with each story, creating their characters with the perfect personalities. Paisley knows her faults, but still wears her heart on her sleeve, and Brentmoor lets us feel her love grow. Hatchet is smooth as silk as Colin, making his charm impossible to resist. It's a fantastic listen and one that should not be missed!

This was cute in so many ways. While I was sad about the way Paisley Davis' past relationships haunted her, I love that she was self-aware and took steps to improve future relationships.
Colin Black cracked me up with his hope that Paisley might turn into the one. His outlook on things showed signs of a maturity that her exes didn't possess. It was a fun and smoking hot read / listen.
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Robert Hatchet and Samantha Brentmoor, both of whom I always like when I hear them. My only disappointment is that it's dual narration instead of duet. As far as complaints go, that's a fairly small one.

One night stands, the standard rule is that you never see each other again... Or that's at least what Colin and Paisley thought. Life has a funny way of things turning out.
Sometimes in life you just have to expect the unexpected. We don't plan for these things as they just happen. And that's exactly what happened here. Or can we blame it on Paisley's sister who decided to elope and therefore she never got to meet CJ beforehand. But on the other hand, the sweet sweet fantasy of Colin and how well our little love bug Paisley was doing after their night of passion was too good not to miss. Unfortunately, as all good things must eventually come to an end like that fantasy. And that's where reality kicks in. Oh, there is no denying the chemistry between CJ and Paisley. Or the nonchalant attitude they are both trying to play off in this beautiful love story.
If this is what a one night stand can turn into, then yes, please! Count me in.
I had to take a second to digest this book because the end ruined me. I cannot wait for the next book. I am salavating for the drama that is yet to come😅

Protecting the heart almost one step too far

Paisley is a heart on her sleeve kind of gal who seems to fall in love at every opportunity. When she thinks she’s finally making progress, her unforgettable one night stand ends up being her roommate. Colin never forgot Paisley and he sees a chance for more once her realizes who his roommate really is.
The plot takes the reader through Paisley’s emotional dilemma, from panic to wariness to understanding. There’s rules and then breaking the rules and these two have so much fun, Paisley doesn’t even realize what they have is more like a real relationship than she’s ever had before when she thought she was actually in love.
Overall, I really enjoyed how this couple developed their non-relationship into a full-fledged, all in, guard down, can't keep their hands off each other.
Overall, Colin woos Paisley quietly, steadily and finally wins her heart for the HEA they both long for.

Well R.L. Kenderson did not disappoint with this book. So If you have been reading this series, you know about the group of women who started this club about men. It is not bad, it is just they are not having the best of luck. Funny thing is out of the group, two of them found their perfect man. Now it is Paisley's turn. Well here is the thing about Paisley, she loves love. She wants to be loved and she can't help but want to give it in return. She tries to put stipulations on her arrangements but somehow she manages to catch feelings. Then Colin shows up and she is bound and determined to not get attached. It was one random hook up right. Well LOL funny thing is, this guy is not random. He is her brother in laws brother. Colin cannot get her out of his head. So the game is on. She tells him that she will not fall in love with her and he secretly wants her to but will go along with what she says. Are there some hot moments, yeah there is. Funny moments, yes too. Then something happens and the plan seems to be derailed. Someone is going to get hurt. Will they be able to get past the pain to have a happily ever after. Check out this book to see what happens.

Paisley and Colin's adventures start out hot from the beginning. Paisley is the queen of loving too much. When she has a one night stand with Colin, she is working on not being clingy and bails after their very steamy evening together. When their paths cross months later, it is clear that the chemistry between the two cannot be denied.
Colin and Paisley may be one of my favorite pairings in a while. I love how Paisley is on a journey to be more independent and secure. From the boundaries she creates with men, to her ambitions to buy her own place, she is determined and secure. Colin has just enough of a devil-may-care attitude to make him alluring, but not aggressive, or unnecessarily dominant. Between the two of them, the characters' connections feel authentic and unforced.
Cheers to RL Kenderson for some deliciously sexy times, some awkward morning after exchanges, and a book to read which is fast and furiously fun.

Book 3 in the Not Another series definitely reads as a stand-alone, but you are honestly doing yourself a disservice if you haven’t read them all. It is Paisleys turn from the club to resist being in a relationship. Her track record is atrocious and her fellow club members do their best to keep her on the straight and narrow. Paisley loves love. She overthinks what the man in her life at the time is actually bringing to the table. And they are always both not on the same page. Colin becomes her test subject to overcome her bad choices. Living in the moment and not thinking of a future together. What could possibly go wrong?
I loved reading this couple struggle to stay within their set of rules and honestly they just brought out the best in each other. I don’t know which club members book is next but I fo know is that I cannot wait to read it. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

Paisley falls in love quickly and gets her heart broken frequently, but she has decided to change her ways. A one night stand with the hot guy she meets in the hotel bar is a move in the right direction as far as she and her friends are concerned. Colin finished up his overseas project early and was looking forward to getting home. Only problem is his brother and his wife let her sister move in while she looked for another place to live. He's really not looking forward to having a roommate no matter how temporary.
I laughed out loud when the characters who had a one night stand end up as roommates. What are the odds, right? I thought these characters were well written, and pretty realistic as well. Some surprising twists in the plot, funny, and steamy romantic comedy that I couldn't put down. Great book I definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys tis genre.

This is the first book I've read by the writing pair known as R.L. Kinderson, but it won't be the last. This book drew me right from the beginning and I ended up reading it in one setting.
I loved Colin, even though he and Paisley agreed to rules....such as not doing anything boyfriend-y, he definitely acted like the boyfriend Paisley deserved. Paisley has an issue with falling for guys too hard and too fast and ended up being clingy in the past. With support from her girl club she was set to not fall in love with the next guy. Colin was her test. I enjoyed the story to see how well Paisley passed the test.

As a result, she is determined to keep her interactions casual and protect her heart from further damage. When she has the opportunity to housesit for her sister’s brother-in-law who is out of town it seems like a win-win until he not only returns home unexpectedly but he also the man she spent one steamy evening with and never expected to see again.
When Colin returns home and finds out he has a new roommate he is pleased with the turn of events when he finds out who it is. He quickly realized that one night was not enough and now that she is back in his life, he just needs to convince her.

This is book three in The Not Another Romance Series and it is Paisley and Colin's story. Paisley and Colin had a one night stand and with Paisley thinking that she would never see him again imagine her surprise when she realised that they are going to be roommates and now she realised that things are going to be even more complicated. There are twists and turns along with trust, insecurities, hope, love and great chemistry between them but how will it all end and what will the outcome be for them. I absolutely loved this book and I couldn't put this book as it was a beautiful story and so well written and it was really good to see there relationship grow and then get the happy ending that they both deserve. I am really looking forward to reading more book's in this series.

Don't fall in love with the practice guy! The whole point of Colin being Paisley's 'practice' guy is due to her terrible habit of falling for a guy after she's had sex with him... and then the guy ends up breaking it off by telling her she's a stalker or clingy or something else along those lines (and breaking her heart).
She's so determined this time. She even told Colin to make sure she didn't fall in love with him. An easy task since she is staying in his house and they have sex rules - good sex rules. Yeah, not.
Paisley needs to get out of her own head and heart and her own way to see what or who, is best for her.
I loved this story! Colin isn't the typical one night stand guy next door. He's going to prove that to Paisley with everything he's got! So sweet!! (Although the urge to slap her sometimes popped up.) I really liked them both! And all her 'club' girlfriends.
I'm real looking forward to the next book in this series. I can tell it's going to be juicy!

Another great read. In Not Another One-Night Stand we get Paisley. She falls in love to fast. So she has decided NOPE no more but that doesnt stop her from having a One-Night Stand with Colin. They meet in a bar where her company is having a party. Little does she know and will find out a few weeks later Colin is CJ her new roommate and her sisters brother-in-law. Now she has to fight to not only fall for him but not have sex again with him. But her friends suggest he be her test subject for having sex and not falling in love. So she goes back home and sets some rules.. But Colin is bound and determined to make her break a few if not all. I loved this book. Great read and you will fall in love with Paisley and Colin.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 3rd book in the Not Another Romance series. Each book can be read as a standalone.
Paisley's landlord sold the house she was renting and now needs a temporary place to stay until she finds a home to buy. Her sisters husband let's her stay in his brother's house since he is out of the country.
Colin job ends early and he can't wait to be back in his own home. His brother rented out his spare room but he's sure they will get along fine for the time being. That is until he finds out that his new roomie is his one night stand from a few months ago. The same girl he hasn't been able to forget.
This rom-com was super sweet and had just the right amount of spice. Can't wait for more.
