From the same stable as the excellent Vocabulary Ninja books, Write Like a Ninja aims to help children supercharge their writing in the classroom. This handy, pocket-sized book is aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, and will give any child a creative boost.

Essentially, it's a creative writing thesaurus, with suggestions for alternatives to the more obvious word choices. Intended as a quick reference guide, it offers a portable replacement to the types of vocabulary posters you find on many classroom walls. It's an imaginative and affordable resource that every classroom should have.

What a fantastic little book. It covers grammar essentials, exciting sentences, awesome alternatives, alternative verbs, character vocabulary and more! Ideal for boosting KS2 writing - this would also be perfect for any budding authors. My favourite section is the "setting vocabulary" - you could have some fun with this!

I failed to see the ninja part. I failed to see the point, why not a thesaurus?
