Nora hasn't seen her son in three days, and no one seems to care. His friends say they haven't seen him, but Nora thinks they're lying. The police say he's just run off, but Nora knows this isn't true. He might be a troublemaker, but he wouldn't do this to her. She will not rest until she finds him, but she's in it alone. Then one day, crippled by fatigue and fear, Nora finds her way to a weird little church. And suddenly, she's not alone anymore.
Searching (New Beginnings Book 3), my seventeenth read from author Robin Merrill. I've read over 300 books so far this year and Knitting (New Beginnings Book 4) book was among the very best of them. So I've gone back to Knocking (New Beginnings #1) then New Beginnings #2, and now Searching (New Beginnings Book 3). Outstanding Christian fiction, with well-written with characters & a plot you can buy into with unexpected twists & turns. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. Now I need to wait for Working (New Beginnings Book 5). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
New Beginnings Church may have found a preacher but can he preach? Levi who we met before continues to make poor decisions. This time may have very serious consequences. Can he count on his friends? How will his Mom cope? How would you cope if it happened to you? His Mom might get more help from strangers than she thought possible. If you have ever had a teen in trouble, you will really be able to relate. If you haven't, consider yourself very lucky. The teens in this church will really step up to help. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is a very good series.
Fantastic book three in this series. While the books are stand alone stories, I would recommend reading them in order as the same characters continue to show up in each one.
Every parent's nightmare comes to life in this book. Your child is missing and no one seems to care. Where do you go for help?
The story is fast paced and wonderful. I read it over the course of 24 hours (and neglected a lot of other things I should have been doing - but I don't regret anything).
I read the first book of this series and was hooked! It's been such a long time since I've read anything that I couldn't wait to pick up again. Robin Merrill has created fun and believable characters and her story lines are unexpected and entertaining, all while sharing God's love, hope, and miracles. Anyone who is interested in reading books without all the garbage, lewd sex, filthy by language, and disturbing violence, will enjoy these refreshing books. I'm looking forward to starting New Beginnings Book 4.
Love these series, A LOT!😁. Thank you for your beautiful writing - I thank God for you. May the Lord continue to give you inspiration and wisdom to write more of these inspiring, uplifting, captivating, fun and enjoyable Christian romance. God bless you!
Everything about this book is good EXCEPT pronouns for God are not capitalized (He, Him, His, You, Your, etc.) It has bugged me in all the books, but finally I took the time to write a review and for this reason I docked it one star.
This was another great read in the New Beginnings series. I love how each book introduces us to a few new characters and gives us more insight into the characters we’ve already met.
The church is growing. God is moving. And miraculous things are happening. This is a wonderful read about Christ-followers coming together, the lost being found, and a chance for a new beginning.
