To keep her clean, he's about to get dirty...

I wasn’t a rookie, but I made a mistake because I was selfish, impulsive, and headstrong.

I was also in love.

My desire for her overwhelmed me. Consumed me. Distracted me.

To protect her, I stood motionless as my partner pried her from the security of my arms. I watched as she fought his hold. I even listened when she screamed that she hated me.

For years I’ve been patient, I’ve been smart, and I’ve gone by the book. But now… it’s finally over.

It’s time to get my girl back.

The first time Anna tried to read a romance novel, her hair caught on fire when she leaned over a candle to sneak a peek at her mom’s Harlequin. She thinks being hit on the head with a shirtless Fabio until the smoke cleared is what sparked the flame for her love of romance.
Anna was born in Wisconsin, but currently lives in Texas with her husband and two boys. She writes sexy romance that always has a happy ending and loves bringing characters back for cameos. Less than six degrees of separation connects any of her novels.
When she’s not writing or reading, she’s watching reruns of her favorite romcoms, talking to her dog and cat like they’re human, eating carbs, or practicing hand lettering.

descriptionI enjoyed this one but it did, unfortunately, have some issues that affected my rating in a negative way. First I will say that I enjoy this author's writing. She has a very readable way to her writing that makes for an enjoyable experience. The pace was ok, but a bit too slow at times and the book was a bit too long. The plot was engaging (for the most part) and kept me turning the pages. There wasn't any OW drama, but there was OM drama and cheating on the part of the heroine. That said, it will depend on what you consider cheating. They were separated at the time, but the separation wasn't a breakup, so that is why "I" considered it cheating. And I'll admit I wasn't a fan that the author went there. It took away from this supposed "epic" love and that in combination with finding the heroine a little self-centered and whiney made me kind of wish the hero would have dumped her and found someone better. The sex scenes were hot and fairly plentiful and the secondary characters were interesting.

description

I ADORED the hero. He reminded me of a KA hero. Alpha. Sexy. All in from the start. FAITHFUL for the entire three years they are apart. My heart broke for this guy and everything he had to do. The heroine...sigh. Until the incident that separates them for three years, I liked her. She seemed sweet and big-hearted. Loved her family. Loved Jay. That said, the way she acted about the separation, blaming Jay and her actions during the separation and even once they were back together. Well, I just lost all respect I had felt for her. She didn't stop for even a second to consider anyone but herself and acted like a three-year-old throwing a temper tantrum. Ugh, I wanted to smack her so hard.

description

The last issue I had with this one, and it is more of a personal pet peeve issue than a book issue. Right at the start of the book, we are in present time. Shortly after that we go back three years into the past and stay there for 53% of the book. Which for me was a bit too long as I was more interested in getting back to the present day part of the story. I am just not a fan of this type of thing unless the past portion is reasonably short or we flip back and forth often from past to present. And although I realize the author had to lay some groundwork for the couple I felt like it was dragged out a bit too much and would have preferred more of the book dedicated to them in the now.

So a bit of a mixed bag with this one. As I said, I enjoyed it but it wasn't without issues, and those issues were big enough to keep me from rating this any higher than 3 Stars. Nevertheless, I am still a fan of this author's writing, so I am onboard to see what she has up her sleeve next.description

SIDE NOTE: I know people will want to know what the cheating entailed in this one so feel free to drop me a line, and I will give you the details.

I was really up and down with this book but in the end it was just an 'ok' read for me. The premise of this story was fantastic, and I can't fault the plot in anyway whatsoever. For that reason and for the quality of writing I'm giving this 2 stars, rather than 1.5.

The book begins with a brief 'present day' scene and then goes back three years, in order to fill us in on Olive/Liv/Livvie (chose and stick to one please) and Jay's backstory. I don't mind this but the pace of the book was slooow for quite a chunk of this. Once we actually get close to why Livvie has to leave the story picked up pace and totally re-engaged my interest.

There were two things I didn't care for in the book, and one of those was the hero. I love a dominant alpha male but for me Jay totally missed the mark on this, feeling instead like a controlling a$$hole. He made a very good first impression in chapter one and the way he supports his sister, Opal, and Olivia showed a truly decent side. However deliberately avoiding telling Livvie how he felt about having kids? Ignoring her feelings and acting all the time as if he knows what is best for her? It left me wanting to give him a good hard punch in the face. He's such a know-it-all it took Mel and Adrian to open his eyes to how Livvie might actually be feeling. I really liked quite a few of the side characters, they really added to the book.

There were, and I surprise myself when I say this, far too many sex scenes. I love a good hot sex scene and wouldn't have minded so much had they been both varied and tasteful but they were crude. I got sick of how many times Jay 'slammed his fingers in her' - I just hope he washed his hands (before and after) and kept his nails neat.

The actual writing was really good, the dialogue and prose flowed smoothly. The book was really easy to read and very well edited. The majority of the story had good pace and the plot was excellent, it was unique and had plenty of little twists and turns. Dialogue felt natural, I knew who was speaking and descriptions were enough to build a picture from, without distracting from the story.

Can two people rediscover each other after being apart for years? How do you reconnect with that person who you thought you would be with every day?

That is what Livvie and Jay have to figure out after so may things have kept them apart. I struggled a little to get engrossed into the book, but I eventually did. Overall a good story premise.

I remember when reading Fixing Fate that I hoped Jay would get a story....well he did and I loved it.

I loved the way the book started and then took us back to the beginning. I'll never look at a penny the same way again. I loved both of the main characters and their families. You could feel the wonderful connection between everyone.

Overall this was a great read that brought out many different emotions from joy to sorrow, heartbreak to happiness. After seeing Opal and Ryan meet in this story, I need to jump into Heartbreaker!

4.5 bulletproof stars!

Jay, oh Jay! You own me! I’m forever yours if you’ll take me! I LOVE YOU and I am aware that you are a fictional character but who gives a crap! I’m running on three hours of sleep because this book had me turning the pages non-stop! It all started with a penny and I was hooked 😍

I FLOVED Jay and Livvie so much! Their chemistry was off the charts, the sex scenes were hot, and they were so adorable together! Jay was a devoted alpha and the way he was with Livvie was perfect! The book was action packed, filled with sad, happy swoon worthy moments!

I am dying to read about the other characters, specially Ryan and Opal’s upcoming book, Heartbreaker. A definite must-read and another top favorite of 2017 added to my list!

Jay Jamison will for sure get you there!!! ☺

When I first met Jay in Fixing Fate (which by the way is an absolutely phenomenal book and you should read it right away) I knew right off the bat I needed his story. There was just something about the way he cared for his sister, Mellie, that spoke to me and I knew he was going to be an awesome lead character and would make for a great read.

Well I am totally the “I told you so” type person and I so love when my instincts are right!!!! Jay’s story was fantastic! It was as good as I thought it was going to be and so much more.

Jay is the type of character that puts the A in Alpha. Holy cow, when he speaks, you listen lol… He is an honorable, sexy, dirty talking man in uniform, I mean you just cannot ask for a better lead character right? right! His love for those he cares about literally leaps off the page at you, and the love he has for Livvie, sweet baby Jesus, that right there, is palpable when you are reading this story.

And Livvie, I’m not sure how I can put into words how much I loved this girl. She is put in such an awful situation and is completely alone and so very scared you just can’t help but to feel for her. Stronger women would probably have failed where she didn’t, she persevered. She handles it like such a champ and earned my utmost respect right away.

I just couldn’t put this book down, once I got into it I found myself reading faster so that I could see how it all turned out. I just had to know! I had mad love for these characters and their story.

This is only my second book by Anna Brooks, but based on both of them being true five stars for me I am going to be moving all the rest up on my TBR! I just love her words that much.

Firstly, I love the cover of Bulletproof Butterfly, it is so Jay and I could imagine this guy throughout the whole story.

Livvie’s journey is highly confronting, her depth of despair will have you questioning how you would cope, she was inspiring to me.

Jay I fell in and out of love with as this story progressed, he did lose me in the middle of the story. I cannot pinpoint why, however i was emotionally invested in Livvie and she was hurting and I blamed Jay when I should not have.

I have to say I struggled with the pace until around chapter 10 and then I was hooked and could not put this down. Livvie was an amazing character and her emotional strength kept me turning the pages. To be able to follow her process her immense feelings of loneliness, anger and fear broke my heart many times. At times I became frustrated with the story continually returning to before Livvie was forced to leave Jay, in hindsight, it was probably because I was eager for them to reunite.

I am very much looking forward to reading Opal and Ryan’s story, that was a lovely addition.

Quote: I feel betrayed, lonely, scared. Just …. all the things. I have never been this mad before.

These last couple of days had been insane because I'm reading more and more each day and I'm loving every second of it. And wanna know the best part? I'm discovering new author's and that's an amazing bonus.
Anna Brooks is a new author to me and what a premierHer writting is intense, raw, heartfelt and detailed.
First you need to have a good look at the cover... Yummy right? And then the blurb is so mysterious and left me wanting to read it quickly.
Bulletproof Butterfly is her latest release and tells the stories of Livvie and Jay.
Jay is the ultimate Alpha male. He's sexy, strong and a real Badass. But don't let this fool you be able under that facade hides a sweet and caring man.
Livvie is a sweet girl, strong as hell with a very big heart. She's in love with Jay and just wants to be with him.
They are living their happily ever after until one day all is gone. Years go by until they find each other again and now I'm done talking because I hate spoilers so I'm going to shut up.
I really loved this book and I was shaking once it was done. So much had happened that left me on edge.
The plot is amazing, intense, raw and the interaction between the characters is not only bumpy but also intense.
The book starts at the presents but then it changed to 3 years ago. It's a good thing because it will explain us why and how they are in this mess.
The suspense, crime, revenge and punishment are well present in this book as well as love, desire, friendship and hope.
There were parts of the book that I couldn't continue read because my eyes were full of tears so I advise you to have a box of tissues. But there were others that I really needed a few cold showers because the hot stuff was very present.
It was chaotic because once I started to read it I couldn't put it down. I wanted more and more each time.
Overall it was a great book with lots of what is important.
Amazing book Anna and I can't wait to read your previous books.

Ok, grab the tissues and make sure you have time to sit down and read this book. You will not want to be disturbed while reading this book. You may need a Bulletproof vest to protect your heart or you may feel like a Butterfly and spread those wings and fly to safety. They say in the field you have to keep your private life separate from your work life and this story couldn’t show it better on what happens when you make one mistake that you would expect from a rookie, not from someone who has been doing this for years. Though I will say while he made a selfish mistake that was impulsive, she also made the mistake of not listening to what he told her before. So, in a way they are both in the wrong and you will see why once you dive in.
Your heart will break, you will cry, you will feel your heart start to beat again and you will see just how hard it is to protect and serve while trying to protect those you love. They both suffered in so many ways, but when it’s time to get the girl back we see just how hard the suffering and healing is going to be. Thankfully a partner gives a little insight on what to expect or this could have turn out a completely different way. I would love to say so much more, but it kinda gives clues and things that you need to read and experience to enjoy and fall in love with this story so all I can say is your heart will be all over the place, you will feel the bad and the good and you may just want to take a Bullet or a Butterfly as a memory to remember this story at the end.

4.5**

Livvie and Jay are slowly merging their lives. Completely in love with each other but with opposing schedules and Jay's traumatized sister living with him make getting together difficult. Jay, a cop, is hot on the trail of a mob boss who keeps slipping through his fingers. Livvie is a bar catering manager with aspirations of becoming a wedding planner. All is going according to plan until a surprise visit tears them apart.

I really enjoyed Bulletproof Butterfly. Jay is a super alpha male hero character that has a wonderful caring side. He is the type of book boyfriend you wish would jump off the pages and become real. Livvie is the girl next door who appears to have everything under control and the perfect counterpoint to Jay. The two are surrounded by family which while not perfect, are supportive and loving.

The one part of the story follows Jay and Livvie as a simple mistake has them on opposite ends of the world. How they cope, the emotions that batter them, the trials they face alone. The second is what it takes for them to reconnect. Its a great story of how we change depending on what life throws at us and what it takes to truly love someone no matter how we do. The pacing is really good, considering Ms. Brooks had to traverse a 3 year separation between the lovers. She really turned the emotional crank up leading her characters through heartbreak, misread situations and not knowing when or if their parting would end. I especially liked that Ms. Brooks didn't just HEA upon Jay and Livvie's reuniting. Giving them a much fuller, tumultuous reconnecting that rang true to life.

A great read that deserves a one-click.

Ok so definately not your run of the mill Witness Protection storyline...Jay and Livvie....what can I say about these two!!! Jay is the opitome of ALPHA..holy crap!!! But he is caring, sentimental, hot and a total badass!! Livvie is strong and adorable and is as madly in love with Jay as he is with her. You can feel their love and connection with every word written. And pennies.....lets just say you will never look at a penny the same way again. Their love oozes out of them and top that off with Jay's alpha and some sexy hot love scenes and you have got yourself the perfect couple.

Only their story wouldnt be complete without some sort of drama and that is what you get with this story...after watching these two fall in love and bond and create a life together they are ripped apart. I dont want to get into why or how but its for the best for them even though Livvie doesnt see why. Its emotional, heart wrenching and it gave me angst waiting to see if these two find their way back to each other and if they do will all the time spent apart be too much to mend their relationship?

I was literally on the edge of my seat to see what happens to this couple and to top it off there was great sex scenes to hold your interest as well. I have been in a huge and I mean huge reading slump and this book was the lifeline I needed to get me out!! Definately recommend!

Bulletproof Butterfly by Anna Brooks a four-star read that will make you want to flap your wings high. Anna Brooks is a beautiful writer, she has a way with words that has you making emotional bonds with characters in a way that means some will never leave you. This story is an emotional battlefield for both Jay and Livvie they both have their own stuff to deal with and story to tell and as you read the story you see their stories unfold and be told, they intertwine in a manner that seems very real as life gets in the way. It shows their relationship long term, they don’t just meet get it on and live happily ever after, the author shows us that life isn’t like that. The story could skip as there is a break between the characters but it’s done in a way that takes you on that journey with them and has you wondering and waiting.
Well done Ms Brooks you have once again written a book that has me all over the emotional scale. This story is one that will stay with you and you won’t be able to forget it. You need this book in your life.

I first read Heartbreaker, a novella that follows Bulletproof Butterfly, so from that, I was intrigued by Olive and Jay, especially Jay's relationship with Olive's niece (Olivia). Because of that, I picked up Bulletproof Butterfly.

Jay and Olive met about two years ago, and are madly in love. Jay has established a relationship with Olive's family and intends to propose to Olive. Unfortunately, events from Jay's job cause the two of them to have to separate until a later time.

I liked the characters in Bulletproof Butterfly. I did feel that Jay's alpha tendencies were a little over-the-top for me, but based on events in the story, I do understand them. And Olive is a great character. I understood her feelings throughout, especially toward Jay after they separated. And I understood her having trouble re-emerging into her old life. I loved Jay's relationship with Olivia. I did have some problems with the plot. It felt really rushed to me, especially how quickly they got back together. She forgave him easier than I think I would have been able to.

Overall, I really enjoyed Bulletproof Butterfly. I'm even hoping that the twins will get their own story!

I will be honest and say at first when I realised there was some back and forth with flashbacks I was not thrilled and then BAM I was thoroughly sucked into this book. I absolutely was stunned with how engrossed I became with this book. The story is not one I have read before and the details are what make this book. You will not be disappointed when you read this story. I was so in love with both Jay and Olive. I would really love to see some follow up books on the other secondary characters!

Bulletproof is my first book by Anna Brooks. I liked it..just have some mixed feelings about it. It's a story about true love, being strong and have hope when there is little to none.

I didn't quite like the characters, yes Jay is absolutely an alpha..but I felt he needed to control a bit too much. And Livvie, as sweet she was, I felt she was a bit of a pushover...

It's an interesting story, filled with action and angst.

This book was incredible! I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but I am so glad that I had the opportunity to read this story. It was definitely a romantic suspense but in such an amazing way. The story has an alpha male who is a copy, and in love with our heroine. He has to send her away after a terrible event. It took everything he had to send her away to protect her from the danger that was following her and out for her blood. There is a mystery, suspense, sexy hot scenes, and chemistry like you can't believe. I loved this book!

The first chapter of this book hooked me, I needed to know more. I was excited for this story.... then I kept reading and waiting for something to happen, anything..... The book started off great but by the end I was wondering what happened to the story because nothing happened and I was left feeling like there could have been so much more to this story.

Bulletproof  Butterfly

This book like always is another powerful book by Anna Brooks. This woman Steals your heart and soul everytime she gives you a new book. She really out does herself with every new story she releases.

Ladies from page 1 be prepared to be totally engrossed bin this story... This story is about Love and what it means to be loved by a man that values you and your Safety...It's about what a man can do to protect the woman he loves. How Heaven and Earth can't separate them.
Jay had really been dealt a shitty hand and that's why he is so over Protective and honestly the way he behaves is so damn Swoony.
He loves his family and Olivia's family like his own. He treats all the women in his life like Gold.
Even when his heart is ripped out he still manages to show how Brilliant and Amazing he is. There is no end to enduring and patient he is. His love for them was really such a beautiful thing to see.
His love for Livvi was Magical, it's what dreams are made of. And he also reminds us all that love is not selfish, when you love someone you put them above all else even if they can't see it right now.

Olivia is such a humble, generous soul. She is stunningly beautiful inside and out. So many moments in this book I just wanted to hug her. My heart broke for so many times.
I loved how much she loved her friends and family. But her love for Jay was something else. I'm glad she was adult enough and understanding. She never played childish games and she also wasn't a door mat for Jay.

These two together were on fire. Their chemistry was explosive. Trust me when I say you may need a change of panties or gulp down some wine.
In fact wine, Tissues and Panties should be on hand when you reading this beautiful story.

Be prepared to lost in their world, I promise you that you will not wanna put this book down.
Well done Anna this book was Outstanding and Awesomely Written.
Enjoy another 10 Star read by this Brilliant Author.

Ugh I love this author but have mixed feelings about this book. While I do love a possessive Alpha who's all about his girl, I sometimes got annoyed by it. Jay and Olive(hate that name) aka Livvie are madly in love and obsessed with each other. Frankly I find both of them too damn co-dependent on on each other and their families. As you can see from the premise something major separates the 2 of them for 3 years. During these years, Jay works at getting back to Livvie, while she builds a new life somewhere else. This is what I have a problem with. In the intervening years, Livvie met another man who was interested in her. While she did say she wasnt attracted to him, she did let her guard down and something intimate happened between the 2 of them. I hate that once Jay came back in the picture they tried to make it seem as if this other man took advantage of her. She was a willing participant in what happened between them. I mean the other man was a total jerk and ass but not the sexual predator they tried to make it seem.Overall a solid read.

Anna Brooks once again delivers a 5 STAR PERFECT book packed full of heart achy FEELS!! OMG!!! Jay is hands down my new favourite hero of Anna Brooks! He is the epitome of ALPHA! I loved how protective and obsessed he was with Livvie right from the start! And Livvie was such a great heroine with her strength and resilience given the situation she was thrown into. This was an amazing story with an action/suspense element to it. In Anna Brooks’s signature writing style, I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put this book down. I can’t wait to read the next book about Opal and Ryan!

Too hot is the first thought. Waaaaay to much sex and grotty language to go with, which was a shame as I liked the story line. I also thought the guy was waaaay over the top with his possessiveness. Bit of a bully actually. But hey ho, on with the next book....

Possible trigger: Couple are separated for 3 years (for her safety) h has an "encounter" not intercourse and I will spoil below.

I really got sucked into this story. It starts with the H coming for the h after 3 years but before everything can be revealed the story flashes back to their 2 year relationship. Jay and Olive were amazing together. So in love. He is OTT protective but never abusive or controling. He is completely faithful during their separation where his only goal is to get her back safely.

We get to see them fall in love and all the beautiful tender moments between them. Get to know his and her backstory and families. Then they are forced apart. The separation goes on and on, I couldn't wait for them to reunite but the author shares a lot of their angst and heartbreak they endure.

There are bumps when they reunite as expected but the h was unworthy on a few occasions and I'll explain why:*******************************************************************
Spoilers************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************The last year of the separation she takes a job at the restaurant of a celebrity chef (her dream before having to disappear was to start a wedding planning business of her own and was working as an event coordinator). The boss is obviously attracted to her but doesn't step over the line (at first). It makes her uncomfortable but they manage to have a professional relationship.

A week or so before the H returns (unexpectedly) to retrieve her, she is at the opening of one of his restaurants in another city and she is drunk. The boss corners her and fingers her to orgasm. She tells him to stop but he doesn't and she doesn't try to physically stop him and doesn't touch him in return. She felt sick and regretted it immediately and told him it was a mistake. The boss later gets jealous about her friendship with a (gay) co-worker and corners her again kissing her and insisting that he knows she wants him. She again tells him it was a mistake and doesn't want to be with him but has a sort of panic attack and the co-worker takes her home.

The thing is, when she tells Jay (and breaks his heart) she rationalizes it all (even though it was stupid to get drunk with a guy you know wants you and let him walk you to your hotel room). Then when Jay wants to take her home she says she can't just leave work high & dry and she thinks to herself the boss has connections that will help with her career. I mean she hasn't seen or spoken to her family in 3 years, you'd think she'd be out of there. I could forgive all of that but after she arrives home, the boss contacts her and name drops the name of someone she admires to get her to meet him and she lies to Jay and meets the ex-boss. She does set him straight on her feelings but after Jay finds out she plays the victim when she had put herself in that situation. I don't know it left a bad taste in my mouth and made her seem shallow.

However....I moved past it because I loved so much else about the story.**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************End Spoiler

I don't know where to begin on this book. I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. Livvie and Jay were absolutely awesome. There story was so honest and real. It tore me apart reading it a times. What these two had to endure during everything was heartbreaking. Their love for each other was tested over and over again and I couldn't ever imagine it happening and what I would do in the circumstance. Jay, I am going to start with him because he was one of those guys that will do anything for the person they love, even if it kills him doing it. His trade is a police officer and when that then interferes with the relationship with Livvvie, something will have to give. Jay gives everything he has in everything he does. He is so strong throughout this book. When he does become out of control, he does it because of the love he has for Livvie. What more could you ask for a man like that. Livvie was a breath of fresh air at the beginning of this book. I loved what she brought to the book. She never thought she could be in love like she was, but love always seems to have a consequence. Sitting at her boyfriend's police desk is what will set off a chain of events that Jay and Livvie would have never seen coming. Livvie doesn't know what is going to happen, but this will change the course of Jay's and Livvie's relationship for three years.

This book has been so beautifully written it is hard to put into words. What Jay had to do to keep Livvie safe had to be the hardest thing someone had to do. What both of them went through was undeniably such a hard situation and I don't think I could have been Jay in that situation. Three years will pass before they are able to be together. That is a lot a days that you sit and think when you are alone. How do you move on with your life when you didn't have a choice when decisions were made. Jay and Livvie will go through a lot and only hope to find each other again. My heart broke for these two throughout the book. Their characters were so well written that I couldn't stop reading the story. They more involved you got in the story, it seemed the plot thickened even more. Not knowing if they will find each other again, or even be able to see each other was heartbreaking. Jay did everything he possibly could do to find his way back. Is it going to be enough? Will Livvie be able to stop hating what he did and find her own way again? Only time will tell.

I was so excited to read this book and I was not disappointed. I can't read the next book that comes out because it will be Opal's story. One side note. One of my favorite parts of this story was when Livvie was bending down to find a penny and bumped into Jay. How they met was my favorite scene, During this book they kept up the ritual with the pennies and I absolutely loved that story line. There is one other part of the story I loved, but I can't tell you because it is a spoiler, but it is closer to the end and has to do with the presents that Jay has given to someone. That was so special and I can't express how much that part of the story was well worth reading about.

Protect to serve is one hell of a job! No matter what division you serve in. They tell you to keep your personal matter outside the enemy lines for once your enemy divulges your weakness; all bets are off. Get ready to strap your bulletproof vest on for one emotional, endearing, passionate ride by Anna Brooks in Bulletproof Butterfly!

Never have I read a book where my heart has been shaken, shredded and torn wide open with a storyline so consuming and gripping that I was unable to catch enough breath while reading. Anna’s talented writing skills delivered a powerful romance on what happens when you must give up love for the safety of others, especially for the one who has your heart.

“...once was this girl who found the man of her dreams because she picked up a penny.”

Jay takes his job seriously as a detective and when a criminal catches wind of his love Olive he does the hardest thing possible that a man can do… sends her away. When the storm has simmered, can Olive and Jay pick up where they left off or has too much time eclipsed? Secrets are shared and guilt, grief arises, can they overcome the obstacles or will it be too much?

“Thought we were f**kin’ bulletproof. But I guess I was wrong.”

I wish I could give more synopsis insight on this marvelous book, however, this is a must read that all romance readers need to devour! I don’t want to spoil the climax, plot and the aftermath. Jay is one amazing man. Not only does he take his job seriously, but he protects with all of his heart, most importantly, the ones that are close to him; providing love and support to those around him. He is sexy, alpha and just an all around amazing man! Olive “Livvie” is a very strong, resilient young woman whom all my emotions went towards. Anna captured her emotions beautifully and delicately to which I believe all women can relate to her pain in some sort of fashion. I felt so heartbroken for her yet to see her resolve her own problems and stand on her own two feet eventually was redeeming!

Bulletproof Butterfly is beyond 5 Stars; Anna has outdone herself with her latest creation and this one will flutter your heart, mind and soul when you feel the passion flying off the pages!
